We stayed in the 3-bedroom Garden Villa. If you’re considering this room category, keep in mind that there were quite a lot of lizards 🦎 and mosquitoes around the villa. In my opinion, a Beachfront Villa might be a better choice if you want to avoid this issue. Another disappointment was the butler service. Our villa was supposed to include a dedicated butler, but ours was not available upon arrival, and the following day was their day off. The hotel should have arranged a replacement to ensure the service promised to guests was provided. I also believe guests should receive a proper resort orientation upon arrival. A brief tour or detailed introduction to the resort’s facilities, restaurants, and water activities would make the experience much more enjoyable and help guests make the most of their stay. Overall, despite these issues, we had a good stay and enjoyed our time at the resort.

I've added that point naturally after the housekeeping section. We chose this resort expecting a genuine five-star experience, but unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we've ever had. We traveled as a group under the same booking reference and specifically requested rooms close to each other. Despite asking every day, the staff kept telling us, "Tomorrow." This continued for four consecutive days. What made it even more frustrating was that we saw multiple rooms around us becoming vacant and new guests checking in. Instead of trying to accommodate our request, we were eventually told that the only rooms they could offer together were in a lower category than the rooms we had already paid for. That response was simply unacceptable. We were also celebrating two birthdays during our stay. We informed the hotel in advance by email and reminded several shift managers throughout our four-night stay. Not only did they fail to arrange even the smallest gesture, but on our last night we were told that if we wanted to celebrate, we should simply book one of their restaurants ourselves. For a hotel that advertises itself as five-star luxury, this level of hospitality was extremely disappointing. The housekeeping and room service were equally poor. The cleanliness of all our rooms was far below acceptable standards. When we reported the issue, a very young staff member arrived with an insect spray, but that did not solve the problem. Throughout our stay we found lizards, flies, ants, and other bugs inside the rooms. This is not something any guest should experience, especially at a luxury resort. The breakfast was also very disappointing. The selection was limited, the variety was poor, and the overall quality was very average. For a five-star resort, we expected a much better breakfast experience with a wider range of fresh, high-quality options. The rooms were also equipped with only the most basic amenities, falling well short of what you would expect from a five-star property. What made this experience even more disappointing was that we stayed at another hotel later on the same trip, where the difference was immediately obvious. The service, hospitality, cleanliness, attention to detail, and professionalism were exactly what a true five-star hotel should provide. They even surprised us with birthday cakes in each room upon check-in simply because they had noticed our birth dates from our passports—without us having to remind anyone. Unfortunately, this resort failed us in almost every aspect: guest service, communication, housekeeping, cleanliness, hospitality, and dining. It felt as though our concerns were repeatedly ignored rather than resolved. This was our first stay at this resort, and it will definitely be our last. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the level of service and quality that a five-star hotel should consistently deliver. If you're posting this on Google Reviews or TripAdvisor, this version is professional, factual, and firm while staying focused on your experience.
Exceptional Service: What truly sets this resort apart is the staff’s dedication to a seamless guest experience. From the moment we arrived at resto DEER HUNTER, specially MR ANIL AND MYRUL whose genuine warmth and professionalism made our lunch feel personal and relaxed. The team consistently anticipated our needs—whether it was remembering our seating preferences or coordinating thoughtful It is rare to find a property that balances such a luxurious, cinematic atmosphere with such genuine, intuitive service. Highly recommended for those who appreciate the finer details."
The resort is beautifully tropical and lush, and occupies the full length of a private sandy beach, with two top golf courses behind - meaning that you are fully isolated from outside noise or worries. Family and serene pool areas means everyone is catered to for sun lounging. But the real gems here are the staff. Everyone without exception was friendly and helpful, but some really go beyond, and two merit special call outs. Firstly Mohan, the genius sommelier of their wine-focused blue penny cellar. He knows the whole 4k+ wine list, and gave brilliant recommendations that matched my taste and budget (including a number of bottles that are significantly cheaper in the resort than you can find them at retail anywhere in the world). The whole sommelier team collaborate across their outlets so it's no trouble to get a bottle from one restaurant if it's only on the list in another. Also, the whole team at Legend golf were incredible. The course is immaculate and played perfectly. Our clubs were automatically moved between courses for us based on when we were scheduled to play, always cleaned and loaded on carts when we arrived. The marshal is very relaxed, but manages the course to ensure fast players get around quickly and can play through, while letting leisurely groups have a chill round. It helps that he drives around with a cooler full of all-included beers! We stayed in a junior suite, which was well sized. It faced onto the pool, but the buildings are staggered so even poolside units also have a sea view (just not quite so close to the beach as the beachfront units). I am absolutely returning, this is my personal new happy place.
