Elisha was great! He was very informative and was very helpful. We appreciated his kindness and sense of humor!
The tour guide took us to downtown Belize, gave us a small history of Belize. Very interesting and informative.
Great experience!! Josh was very thorough and informed about the culture and history of Belize and the US, which was very helpful. Highly recommend!
They cancelled tour with 3 hours notice. Poor. I will not use these people again.
Mr Jerry was WONDERFUL! He was funny, engaging and gave us a great history lesson on Belize. Take Mr. Jerry’s tour if you come here!!
Very knowledgeable. He answered a lot of questions said that it’s not an island, but is a Country.
The operator was late. The reason was that there was a lot of traffic, which is a reason I heard a lot here for being late. I assumed the the 1 hour tour would be extended, instead it was rushed, and it still ended early! Huh? The tour was not interesting. Every single school was pointed out, and I learned about the process of becoming a tour guide. I know the city history had so much more to provide than what was given. This 29 minute tour was terrible. And my Belize sign photo came out terrible.
Elijah did a good job informing us about the history of Belize. Very knowledgable. I just wish he would have gone outside of the city just a little so we could have experienced that! Overall, he did a good job and we had fun!
Good Tour! Very imformative, driver explained everything we saw.
We had an incredible time on the TukTuk Belize City Sightseeing Tour. Elijah was an amazing guide. He was incredibly informative, personable, and kept us thoroughly engaged throughout the entire trip with fascinating stories and local insights. Beyond showing us the sights, Elijah gave us food recommendations and helped us find souvenirs. Riding around in the TukTuk was fun and a great way to get an authentic feel for the city.
Elijah was a great tour guide! He was so kind, fun and knowledgeable of the rich history of Belize City.
We weren’t certain what to expect from our tuk-tuk tour, but we were pleasantly surprised by how good this tour was. Our driver, Josh, was a virtual encyclopedia, providing us with information about Belize and the city that we needed to know to put our trip into context. He took us to historical and cultural sites, and explained the significance of it all. He was fun, energetic, and he wanted us to enjoy the tour. He achieved that and we are grateful he was our tour guide.
Elijah was wonderful and funny! He did a great job of showing us the city. Not only this but even went above and beyond and helped us with our luggage and dropped us off at the ferry terminal. He was great! Highly recommend!!!!
This was a really cool way to see the city and learn the history of Belize. We had the best guide and name was Kaelyn M. She was beyond awesome. She shared so much knowledge with us. She was passionate, professional and personable, I would definitely recommend Kaelyn any day of the year. I hate out tour came to an end as we all were thoroughly enjoying it. KUDOS TO KAELYN FOR AN OUTSTANDING TOUR OF BELIZE. Be sure to ask for her.
Elijah is a knowledgeable tour guide. He knows all about the cities history and can connect it to his great grand father.
Thank you for a great tour. Elijah was very welcoming and knowledgable. The city was beautiful
We had a great tour with Elijah, very knowledgeable about Belize!
Elijah is great! Nice trip!wonderful!
Elijah was an amazing tour guide, I’m from the states and any information I wanted to know about any of the sites he was very informative and thorough guide.
Elijah was an amazing and educated guide! He walked us through a lot of the history of the island and even some stories which made everything come to life.
It was a great day and Elijah was an amazing guide. At the museum he was able to share extra insight into Belizean history. Elijah went over and beyond to ensure day was great.
Elijah is an amazing human and tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable, respectful and fun. Elijah made sure everybody was enjoying the tour while making recommendations. I am very happy I had him as my tour guide. Ask for Elijah, you won’t regret it!
Elijah was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and went above and beyond to give us a true Belizean experience from the tour, the food, and the beach. We will definitely be returning!
This was an amazing city tour!!
Great short city tour, friendly guide, good way to see the city with little to no walk, friendly guide
It was great! Kadeem is a great story teller and very knowledgeable about his country history. Great times@
This was our first activity after landing. Kaylin and Kadeem received us with the best hospitality and are responsible for our warm welcome to Belize City! We bought our tickets separately but I toured with 2 friends. We had some issues checking our luggage for a connecting flight and were given the option to store them at TukTuk’s office. After a long day of travel, we appreciated the gesture. We got to see the the north and south side of the city and learned a lot about the culture and history of the country. My favorite stop was to the Mennonite store next to the chicken spot. It was hot and we needed a 2nd refreshment! (1st refreshment was provided by TukTuk 💗) It was our first chance to get a feel for the cost of items in Belize outside of the airport in Ladyville. My second favorite stop was downtown by the courthouses. I wish we had more time to spend there. We tipped well and it was well-deserved! This team went above and beyond. It was an awesome start to our trip.
I'm not really sure what we saw other than a park by the beach and a couple of statues. The driver said he was a newbie (I won't mention his name). I would have liked to have learned more of the historical buildings. We literally drove around for an hour seeing pretty much nothing. One thing positive was the electric cart we rode in was quiet.
It’s educational to see what Belize City is like for locals as opposed to to the pretty beach and vacation side of the place. Many folks are living in impoverished areas but take pride in their culture. Elijah was super friendly and informative and has a lot of tips for travelers
Elijah was a real one. 10/10 for my boy. Service was great and family friendly!
Tanya was an amazing tour guide! Super knowledgeable and fun with her bingo card and little prizes :) It was a cool, unique, and affordable way to see the island and I was able to call Viator directly when we arrived at the cruiseship port, when it said it was all booked up for the day, and they got us connected to the operator for a short notice tour. Super great experience all and all!!
LOVED this experience. Tanya was an amazing tour guide. We got to see all the sights, learn the history, and the people in town were very friendly! It was fascinating. Safety was a concern for us at first, but not once during the tour did we feel unsafe. It was great. They pick you up at your hotel, the TukTuk is fun and has a nice breeze. I highly highly recommend!
Very informative tour loved learning about the local plant species and history of Belize. Great driver and took us by many local gems
We had a wonderful time. Our guide was Elijah. We arrived early, and he accommodated us. Elijah did a wonderful job detailing the history of Belize City. I do encourage you to take the tour of St. John Anglican Cathedral if available.
What an experience! Our tour guide was extremely friendly, professional and funny. She was very attentive to details and made the driving experience even better.
Tour guide was well-informed in many topics! Quite knowledgeable and a wonderful presenter. Customized the tour to our interests. Great! Note to solo travelers: Booking trips for one person in Belize was extremely difficult (April/May). TukTuk Tours was able to reschedule me rather than cancel. My experience: Solo travelers in mainland Belize in April/May—- in general, be prepared for difficulty booking tours and for cancelled trips or no availability if traveling alone. And be open to having an extraordinary time and unexpected positive experiences while in Belize!
Had a great experience on our TukTuk tour of Belize. Our driver/tour guide was well informed about everything in Belize City. We were accommodated at an earlier time than we reserved without a problem, that was very helpful as all we saw at the port was some shopping and bars/restaurants. It was very educational to hear about the area but if cruising to Belize City for the first time a longer excursion off to see the ruins or exotic animals would be a good choice or snorkeling on the reef. We had been there a few times in the past and had experienced those things in so we wanted to hear more about the city and history. This tour did just that. It was very enjoyable and interesting, our guide was very informative and answered all our questions. Thanks so much.
This was a wonderful tuk tuk ride. Our driver and guide was Kadeem. He was patient, and he took time to give us extensive details about each of the sites on the tuk tuk route. The company is a start up one, and if all of the drivers are like him, it will be a very successful company. The tuk tuk ride is also highly recommended if you are trying to get a short overview of Belize City, this is the way to go.
Nice overview of the city in a fun TukTuk. The owner was very customer focused and appreciative of our business. We also liked the frozen bottle of water they gave us on a hot day. Thanks!
The Tuk Tuk tour was a good way to see important buildings and landmarks in the city. Elijah was a great and very knowledgable tour guide!
Our driver was fantastic. Warm, friendly, funny. He really showed us Belize City for the beauty it is. We would highly recommend him to others.
This experience was awesome. The company was extremely nice, helpful, accommodating, and responsive. Our tour guide, Courtney Elijah Herbert, was top tier! Extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and punctual- as the tour started and ended exactly within the one hour timeframe selected. Courtney delivered the history of his beautiful country without a single stammer or filler word. We traveled with two little humans (4 & 7) and both were engaged and enticed by this experience! I will definitely recommend this experience and especially this tour guide!
A good overview of Belize City, especially if you're interested in the history of the area and the effects of colonialism and imperialism on this beautiful place. Our guide, Elijah, was delightful (my 8 year old thought he was positively hilarious). It was easy to find (take a right directly out of the port exit and ignore everyone else trying to sell you stuff) and very safe. Bring cash to donate to the gorgeous and historical church you stop at.
They were very friendly and helpful. The driver was very knowledgeable with all the sights. He also stopped for us to take pictures when we wanted. He too was friendly and accommodating.
Great experience with knowledgeable and very friendly guide. Provider was prompt and accommodated last minute schedule arrangements. Learned a lot about past history, current events and future plans of Belize.
We had a wonderful tour with Tanya. Highly recommend. She gave us a huge amount of information about her native city and country and was very agreeable to questions. In addition, her driving was excellent and the tuk tuk was a fun and novel way to travel. Don't miss this opportunity in Belize City.
Tanya was an great tour guide! She was so knowledgeable and shared a lot of history of Belize. We would definitely recommend the Tuk Tuk tour to others.
We hop on this amazing electric TukTuk that charges with solar panels and has WIFI and had a great time riding it. Elijah was our driver and gave us a lot of information of the city. Then we went to Old Belize 🇧🇿 Water park and shared some good memories with all the family. Thank you for being on time and the constant communication!
We had an amazing time with our tour guide Tanya. She is so knowledgeable about Belizean history and has a great personality. She made the tour very fun and memorable.
