This hotel is ideal for anyone who wants to relax a day in Belize City before embarking on their Belize adventures. The Room, Bed and Sheets were high quality. My wife and I enjoyed a full day of rest and relaxation after a very long day of travelling. Its location is close to the Belize Express Water Taxi. The on site Restaurant: The Tree House provided one of most memorable vacation dinners. Belize City may intimidate some travelers. But I felt safe. There is a Publix grocery store near within walking distance. Because of the limited items immediate around Belize City I rated it a 4. The new addition at the water front will be an impressive place to stay also. The staff was absolutely amazaing.

Great little hotel. Everything is very well appointed. Plenty of places to hang out by the pool and spa and relax. Lobby has nice seating area as well. The rooms qere roomy and clean. Great amenities like soap, gel, shampoo and conditioner. The treehouse restaurant is also very nice with great service. Free wifi in room and lobby. Very nice!
Would stay here again but a note to be aware of. We scheduled a hotel shuttle to the airport on our check-out day only to head to the lobby and be told that the shuttle would not be running for another hour. Our only choice, we were told by staff, was to pay for a cab to bring us. Disappointing and it led to a delay for when we expected to arrive at the airport. Also, as of February 2026 (our trip dates) the hotel pool area did not match the Orbitz photos. The photos are taken from some creative angles and in one instance seem altered to hide some power lines and a very close, older building overlooking the pool.
A rather splendid hotel on the Fort George Peninsula, with a real sense of place and history. The setting is hard to beat: close to the water, the Baron Bliss Lighthouse, and some of Belize City’s best views. There is an easy elegance to the property - relaxed, comfortable and quietly stylish rather than overdone. The Treehouse Restaurant is a real highlight: atmospheric indoors, with breezy outdoor seating that is perfect for a drink or dinner. The healthy and varied breakfast options are strong start to the day - as are the distinctly Belize options. For those who take their training seriously, the gym is genuinely impressive - a proper bonus for the gym rats. The spa also delivers, with excellent massages that make it very easy to settle into Belize time. A charming and distinctly Belizean base in one of the city’s best locations.
Excellent service for my wife and me as we celebrated our 8th anniversary. We arrived on 2/8 and were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. Our room was prepared quickly, and from that moment on, every staff member we encountered provided exceptional service throughout our stay. A special thank you to Leo, our tour guide for the Mayan site excursion. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Belize and made the experience both engaging and memorable. I highly recommend requesting him if you plan to visit any of the Mayan temples. The food, from breakfast through dinner was consistently excellent, and we especially enjoyed the Belizean coffee. Overall, our experience was truly positive, and we’re grateful to the entire team for making our anniversary so special. We will definitely be back again.
