We had plenty of time to explore and enjoy all the stunning coastal sites without feeling rushed, and we had enough time to pause for a lovely lunch in one of the charm-filled small towns along the route. All the special touches and places he showed us were magical. It far exceeded our expectations. George truly loves his job and tailors the tour to your interests. A wonderful last day for us in Ireland!!

Our day touring the Giant’s Causeway and Northern Ireland with George was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip — in fact, we all agreed it was our best day in Ireland! What makes touring with George so special is that this is his own company, not a large tour operation. From the beginning, the day felt completely personal and was tailored to our interests, our abilities and our timetable. There was no rushing from stop to stop or following a predetermined schedule. George’s knowledge of the area is incredible. He took us to places we never would have discovered on our own and shared the history and stories behind them in a way that made everything come alive. He was also incredibly thoughtful with our group. Our 80-year-old aunt has limited mobility, and he made sure she was comfortable and able to experience the Causeway, while still venturing farther out with those of us who wanted to climb and explore more. Even lunch was perfect — George knew just the spot in Ballintoy, and it ended up being one of those wonderful little experiences you simply wouldn’t know to find on your own. But what we’ll remember most is George himself. We laughed all day, learned so much, saw incredible places, and by the end of the tour, it genuinely felt like we were saying goodbye to an old friend. We had an amazing day with George and saw sights that were just stunning! He even timed it perfectly so the on and off showers would be off again when we reached the Giants Causeway! We stopped at so many little gem spots and had views that were breathtaking! George is funny and personable and will make you feel very comfortable on your adventure. Highly recommend this private tour with him. While big busses could only stay on big roads, we took small roads that led to the beautiful views. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could! I don’t think I could have walked up and along and down Giants Causeway without George leading the way and making sure we were safe and happy!

George is the ultimate guide. Very knowledgeable. We went everywhere and stayed away from most of the tour bus traffic. Took us to a great place for lunch. We enjoyed the off the beaten track tour. Thanks George for giving us a great day.

Wow, what a day! Right from the start we knew it was going to be a great day, despite the cloudy weather. George was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and full of knowledge! For every question, he had an answer. The entire day was filled with quick picture stops, cozy pit stops, special locations and amazing people and views. This tour was so fantastic at the start of our trip that I am concerned no other will live up to it! We really enjoyed our tour of the Antrim Coast and Giants Causeway. George was an amazing, informative, and entertaining tour guide during our day long tour. His knowledge brought to life each quaint little village along the coastal causeway. Since he is a native of the area, he had so many interesting stories to share with us! 10/10 experience! George is an extremely knowledgeable and local (and hilarious) guide and my husband and I had an amazing day seeing and learning about Northern Ireland's north coast. George has endless knowledge and fun facts about so many locations along the coast – it really enriched our experience and elevated it from just a sightseeing tour. We loved getting out of the fray at the Giant's Causeway and loved the small village/town where George took us for tea. We felt very safe with George's driving - he knows how to drive the narrow roads and in weather (and also the city roads getting in/out of Belfast) and this alone made the tour absolutely worth it. Our Northern Ireland tour was outstanding from start to finish. The tour guide was fantastic—the perfect person for the job. He had a very pleasant personality, was extremely knowledgeable, and was patient with the many questions from our group. One of the biggest advantages of this tour was traveling in a smaller vehicle, which allowed us to take the scenic coastal road along the ocean. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. That drive was one of, if not the most scenic drive I have ever experienced in my life. The combination of a wonderful guide, spectacular views, and a more personalized experience made this tour truly memorable. Amazing experience. We saw so many wonderful villages, castles, harbours, glens, spectacular views as well as the Giants Causeway. This private tour often took us to places without other tourists. George grew up here, he spoke with passion about the area and was able to connect with us through his experiences. It was very much like driving with a good friend. An Unforgettable Road Trip in Northern Ireland – With George Our road trip through Northern Ireland was nothing short of wonderful, and sharing it with George made the experience even more special. From breathtaking landscapes to historic landmarks, every stop along the way felt like a new adventure. One of the most magical places we visited was the Dark Hedges. Walking beneath the twisting, ancient trees felt like stepping into a different world. The atmosphere was peaceful and mysterious, making it a truly memorable start to the journey. Next came the spectacular Giant’s Causeway. Seeing the unique hexagonal basalt columns stretching along the coastline was incredible. The natural beauty of the area, combined with the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks, created a breathtaking scene that we will never forget. We also explored the dramatic ruins of Dunluce Castle, perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. This tour was amazing and I highly recommend it. George is so knowledgeable of the area and the history and made the tour so comfortable and easy to just sit back and take in the sites. Plenty of stops along the way for snacks and breaks (which is important for me!). It was a day filled with beautiful views, fun conversations and good times. Being from the area, he knew all the best spots and really tailored the tour to what we wanted. He made the whole experience fun and memorable. It was a long day so bring comfortable shoes because you won't want to miss any of the sights. We highly recommend George and this tour, and we hope to see him again in the future!

George is the best! My husband and I had a wonderful time on our private tour, which George modified into a 2 day excursion just for us. He knows the area extremely well; if he wasn’t sure of a historical detail, he let us know with refreshing honesty. It was intriguing to learn about his film career, and his mission to provide opportunities to many young people along the way. He’s an all around good guy. We felt very comfortable traveling with him, and forged a close connection in the two days together.

Where do I start? What a day and what a tour guide! Honestly, we had the best day, thank you! The personal anecdotes, George’s local knowledge, the information we all tried to soak in eagerly. Some adjectives… fascinating , moving, entertaining and educational. Finishing at GC (not The GC FYI. This isn’t the Essex experience!) was just breathtaking and in true style we embraced the weather! Dramatic and beautiful! Highly recommend! Especially if you want an authentic and original experience. You won’t find any spoilers here from me but just a “book George!”
