Your Tour will begin from your pickup location, where you will meet your driver and guide for the day. There we will begin our journey to the north coast traveling through the rolling farmland of County Antrim which has been used for the famous Game of Thrones TV Show. The Antrim Coast Road is widely agreed to be one of the finest stretches of road anywhere in the world. The road hugs the coastline giving incredible seaside views, passing unspoiled beaches, and sheltering under rugged cliffs. You may even see Scotland on a good day!
Our first stop of the day takes us into the amazing picturesque fishing village of Carnlough for a quick comfort break. The village shop is a fitting end to your trip as you take in the quaint harbour used by pleasure boats and small fishing vessels in an area rich for both sea and freshwater angling. This harbor although built in the nineteenth century during the famine years still retains an old-world charm, which meant that it didn’t seem out of place when it first appeared in Game of Thrones.
We travel along the Causeway Coastal route between Ballycastle and Dunluce to experience one of the most dramatic drives in the world, now rated as one of the world’s top 5 great road journeys. We transport you by windswept cliffs, spectacular scenery, and fabulous unspoiled beaches.
One of the most visited places in Northern Ireland amazing Carrick-a-Rede Rope bridge where you can cross a bridge that spans a chasm over 75ft in height. (Please note Crossing the Rope bridge will depend on the time you have on shore. The Carrick-A-Rede Rope bridge may sometimes be closed due to weather conditions or repairs. There will be a 1-mile walk from the car park to the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge if you have mobility issues, have small children, or use a stroller that can't handle unpaved pathways. (If you wish to cross the bridge you will need to pre-book your ticket) Please let us know before purchasing your tickets and we will advise of an approx. time of arrival. if you do not wish to cross, we can stop at the viewing point for photos.
A Beautiful scenic beach at the very tip of Ireland and the closest country from here would be Iceland which is 800 miles away. we will stop there and take some beautiful photos and enjoy the views.
Commonly called ‘the 8th wonder of the world’, is the only World Heritage site in Ireland. During our stop here you can spend time climbing over the ancient stones, snapping photos, and reflecting on the myths and legends of this very unique area. Entrance to the visitor’s center is not included in the price, if you want to access the café, shop, and visitor center you can purchase your ticket at the Giants Causeway and your ticked allowing you to experience the visitor center the history of the area including an audio guide to enhance your experience.

Old Bushmills Distillery: Bushmills Whiskey Distillery has been creating beautiful ‘water of life ‘since 1608 making this the oldest working distillery in Ireland. Visit the tasting room for sampling.

The treelines are supposedly haunted: The Grey Lady (a lost spirit from a long-abandoned graveyard) is said to appear at dusk amongst the trees.

We booked a private day's tour of Northern Ireland with Murat Yilmaz. Despite his name, Murat has lived in NI for 27 years, has an Irish wife and three Irish daughters. He knows the country well and many of the people in it. And it shows! Despite the inclement weather we had a comprehensive introduction to NI, its countryside, history and culture. Nothing was too much trouble for Murat, and he fell in with, then embellished, some of our ideas about what we wanted to see. Murat is a safe driver in an immaculate people carrier. The day was well-worth the money and is highly recommended.
Great day out seeing giants causeway and the coastline
My son, daughter-in-law and I, the mom, were to be in Northern Ireland and knew we wanted to see the Giants Causeway and the northern coast. Since we did not want to drive ourselves we were left with the choice of local buses, tour buses, or a private tour. I emailed two companies offering private tours and chose Belfast Tours NI. The response that I got to my email from the company owner Murat was thoughtful, knowledgeable and included some suggestions as to how to proceed with our then inconclusive itinerary. After a couple more in-depth emails with Murat, I decided that we would go with Belfast Tours NI. The tour itself far surpassed our expectations! Although we had an itinerary, Murat made several added stops along the breathtaking Northern coast. We took beautiful photos and saw spectacular rocky coastlines that we would not have been able to experience on a larger group tour bus. The lunch that Murat suggested at the Causeway Hotel was one of the best we had during our entire trip. We had a delicious starter of hummus, naan and olives, then fish and chips, which had the lightest batter, not oily at all. Fantastic! Although the tour was scheduled to take 8 hours, Murat made several extra stops, just so we could see as much as possible, and our tour was at least 9 hours. The conversation with Murat along the way was insightful, educational, entertaining and sometimes personal. When we said goodbye at the end of the day we felt like we had made a friend. I highly recommend Belfast Tours NI for a Causeway Coast tour. Our experience was priceless 😊.

We had a great time and did 2 tours. The first was the Causeway private day tour which was fantastic. So much to see on the way along the coastal road and enjoyed seeing the lovely towns and learning about the history. The rope bridge and causeway were great. Our guide, Murat, was wonderful! He took his time to explain the history behind a number of sites along the way as we proceeded north to the Giants Causeway. He was very flexible if we saw something that caught our eye to be sure we were taken care of.

A fantastic and full 9 hour tour with many stops snd opportunities to walk around and explore, including places that the big buses can’t get to. Marut was a wonderful and entertaining guide who clearly knows his stuff and had a few connections to enhance the trip. The van was very comfortable for the 6 adult passengers.
Incredible service and information from John. Loved the experience and convenience of a private driver. We were able to see all of our sites and John dropped us at the train in time for our next leg to Dublin. This was the highlight of our week-long UK trip.

I was passing through Belfast for less than 24 hours in November and was keen on arranging an opportunity to see the Giant's Causeway while in Northern Ireland. Francis picked me up at my hotel lobby at noon and drove me up the coast, providing lots of stories and context about the country along the way. We had a quick stop at Glenarm and a another at the overlook at Carrick-a-Rede Rope bridge, and he then gave me time to walk the bridge, which was well worth the pitstop. We then got to the Causeway with plenty of time before sunset for me to walk down to the shore and soak in the awe of the geography for about an hour. Spectacular! On the way back to the hotel, Francis took the time to show me the Belfast Peace Walls and some of the remarkable murals on the back of houses in the area. All in all, the tour hit the spot for a flash tour of the country, with safe, comfortable driving and an informative and friendly tour guide.

I wish I was better at writing reviews so that I could fully convey how much we enjoyed the trip. My kids and husband had hesitations about an 8 hour tour but within 2 hours they all told me how great it was. John was fun and informative. Relaxed and kept us on pace. The sites were all worthwhile and memorable. The car was great and lunch was so easy and tasty.

Originally our group considered other tour options for our day trip from Belfast to the Giant's Causeway. We emailed questions to Nicole at Belfast Tours NI & her responses were informative & timely. While more expensive than the others, the luxury private vehicle won us over. I am so glad we spent the extra money for the day! The owner of the company, Murat, was our driver. He is exceptional! Murat went above & beyond to ensure we had enough time to enjoy each stop & take the best photos. He is personable & easy to talk to. He is also very knowledgeable of Northern Ireland & it is clear that the loves providing a great experience. This was a fantastic tour, catered to the points of interested suggested and that we wanted to view while visiting Northern Ireland. It was cool seeing some Game of Thrones filming locations and we really enjoyed the rope bridge experience along with the Bushmills tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided flexibility based off our plans for the day. Highly recommend to have a private tour if you have a small group.

You are in control on this tour and it is your choice how much time you allocate to sites on the route. You can also make unscheduled stops for photo's etc. We were able to cross the rope-bridge, walk on the Causeway where we had lunch, visit Duluce Castle and walk the Dark Hedges. Our driver/guide was friendly and courteous.

We were trying to figure out the best way to tour Giant's Causeway and various other locations on the way there. We found Belfast Tours NI, and we are more than satisfied.
