Conchúr brought Belfast to life with amazing stories ! We began at the Belfast City Hall, and he took us right back to the origins of Belfast and set the scene. He introduced us to historical figures that shaped the city, and often would show us old images from the city streets we were actually standing on, to show how things have changed. One thing that I found so good, was how passionately he spoke about the men and women who shaped the city. He really brought them to life. It was excellent value for money, and the best way to get to see Belfast on a short visit. He was just so engaging and funny, and his enthusiasm and love of history makes this tour so so good !

Highly recommend - especially having the local expertise sharing the culture, history politics, food, drinks and how it all ties together in terms of personal and overall local historical cultural context. Was very impressive, engaging, professional and personal experience with all the knowledge that was shared. If you only have a few hours in Dublin and are intellectually curious about the city (and a “wee” bit) of N. Ireland history and cultural, than this is the ticket for you..

We first discovered Conchúr through his YouTube videos, his warmth radiated through the screen so we couldn’t wait to book a tour. He absolutely did not disappoint! This was our very first visit, and we have completely fallen in love with Belfast and cannot wait to return—Conchúr played a massive part in that! What we loved most about his approach is how he balances the city's complex history. He touches on the Troubles with great care and respect, but he truly shines when showing you how magnificent Belfast was before that era and how vibrantly it has bounced back since. We discovered and learned so much about the city that we never would have found on our own. Conchúr is one of the most genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive guides you could ever hope to meet, and his deep love and pride for Belfast is utterly infectious. The pacing is spot-on—fast enough to take in a huge amount of history, but relaxed enough that you can truly absorb it all. To top it off, he happily gives out fantastic local recommendations for places to eat, drink and explore, which completely made the rest of our trip. If you are visiting Belfast, booking a tour with Conchúr is an absolute must!

A fantastic Belfast walking tour with a brilliant guide! We had a brilliant time on the Belfast walking tour with Conchúr. It was a great way to explore the city, taking in places including City Hall, the Titanic Memorial Garden, the Albert Memorial Clock, Bittles Bar and Kelly's Cellars, alongside plenty of other interesting sights, stories and history. Conchúr was knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely engaging. What really stood out was how he made a point of chatting to everyone in the group individually throughout the walk, making the experience feel personal and welcoming rather than simply being part of a crowd following a guide. The weather decided to make things interesting by bringing the rain down early on! 😂 Conchúr quickly got everyone under shelter and carried on with his talk without missing a beat. He even included other people who had taken shelter with us, which I thought was a lovely touch. Throughout the tour, several people outside the group approached him for directions or information, and he was consistently polite, helpful and happy to assist. I also contacted him beforehand to ask if the tour was dog-friendly, as I was considering bringing my dog, Koda. I decided not to bring her in the end, but Conchúr actually said at the start of the tour that he was sad I hadn't brought her! 😂🐶 That really made me smile and says a lot about how welcoming he is. What I appreciated most was that he made everyone feel comfortable, was happy to share his knowledge with people from all walks of life, and clearly enjoys what he does. If you're looking for a Belfast walking tour with a guide who is knowledgeable, approachable, adaptable and genuinely lovely with people, I'd absolutely recommend this one!

This was a comprehensive walking tour which gave us an appreciation of the history of Belfast covering some of the major historical figures, buildings and events which make Belfast tick. Connor was an engaging tour guide who is passionate about his city. A full two hour tour went by quickly. He also pointed out some interesting pubs and market which we did not visit on the tour but which we did get to on our own. A great way to get to know Belfast and get the lay of the land.

Firstly Conchùr (Conor/Hound lover) is warm & welcoming, taking time to get to know us. It is clear he loves Belfast & wants to share that with us. He is a skilled & knowledgeable guide. He listened to our questions & like a great guide added stories & personal anecdotes to make the history come alive. This was a wonderful walking tour around Belfast. Conchur provided a very personalised tour covering an enormous range of information. He was happy to provide additional depth of information whenever requested. He delivered a great deal of knowledge in a very digestible and pleasant manner. We met on time at the sport outside city hall has directed. Concur adjusted route and timing for us as requested so we could have a beer in the oldest pub and take a break from the rain. Despite the insistent rain he pressed on as we wanted and shared some great info and detail about the sites around the city and the history of how Belfast has been shaped politically and culturally. Highly recommend. Would do it again.

I recently had family home from America and thought this would be a great way to show them the real Belfast. It was a fantastic experience all round. Conor was incredibly informative, he has a wealth of knowledge, whilt also keeping the tour fun and engaging throughout. Over our years visiting Belfast with friends, we always try to squeeze a wee tour in. Seen this fella on the socials and booked a Guinness tour for our next visit. We loved it that much that we have done the walking tour twice now with different groups of friends. Conch’s knowledge is second to none and any questions that have been unknown (only 2) he has got back to us promptly via email. I had a tour with some friends around Halloween. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and has clearly spent considerable time researching and developing his tours and craft. He tailored this one to seasonal themes and I would highly recommend. He is also very knowledgable about where you will find a good pint of stout. I will def be back.

I have been on this tour three times before and every time I learn something new about Belfast! I've done it with a group of girls, couples and even work friends. I'm not really a history fan, but I really enjoyed this! The facts have also helped me with several pub quiz questions lol The tour guide is from Belfast, and you can tell he's really passionate about the city, it's history, its people and its buildings. I would say this isn't your standard walking tour there was so many hidden facts I would not have known about Belfast without doing this your. Definitely recommend!!
