I was on an Odyssey bus with a driver called Stephen. His commentary was excellent - full of helpful hints and information. The pace of the drive, the various stops, the information was all first class and made for a most enjoyable day trip. Coach was comfortable and clean.

A great way to see the beautiful countryside and coast and learn from the knowledgeable Paul. Great craic!
Couldn't recommend enough as long as your realistic that food is a challenge unless you bring your own cold food and be prepared to walk. The pick up and drop off was local enough and the guide knowledge was great and entertaining. all in all its a great day out and easy way to see more.
If looking for a tour to the Giants Causeway this is the one to do. Luxury minibus (not coach) so a small group. The excellent driver and guide, Stephen, used his local knowledge to ensure the best experience including being ahead of the large groups ensuring a crowd free experience. Stephen provided commentary and information through out the day and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.
Our guide was Paul and he was fabulous. Very knowledgeable and gave us ample time for photos at each stop. This tour encompassed everything we wanted to see and more. Highly recommended.
Paul is a great guide. Funny, knowledgeable, and efficient. We fit so much into the day and had an amazing time. He even told us about the shall villages as we passed through them.
Great tour. A fun mixture of several smaller attractions, Giants Causeway was the main event, but we also stopped at a sea-side village, the Dark hedges, and got to see the bridge in the listing photo (but didn't get to cross due to permitting restrictions). A fun tour of a few of the sights in Northern Ireland
Excellent day tour, enhanced by our informative and entertaining driver & guide, Paul. We chose this tour as it seemed to be the only one that allowed time for a tasting at Bushmills, which we thoroughly enjoyed. A lovely day with beautiful weather to boot!
The tour with Stephen was amazing, honestly the perfect day. Just the right amount of time at every stop and he was very knowledgeable and funny with his commentary. I would really recommend this tour if you are coming to Belfast!
It wasn't good experience. It feels like wasted time and money. It wasn't existing travel experience with the company. The bus was like a just a local bus, not luxury at all. The amount paid wasn't worth for this with this company because they hide some of the costs and also didn't cover the journey as planned, missed a part of trip (Carrick a rede rope).
Very good, nice small group so the driver was able to leave a bit earlier and miss the crowds.
Really memorable day - Stephen our guide and coach driver was excellent ! Informative, knowledgeable, great sense of humour. Thank you
FYI- there is a “massive” hike up and down the causeway. The driver was awesome! Overall the experience was great, we would do this again!
Beautiful place and history. So nice to spend some time at the water's edge. Great picture place in several areas.
Rory, our driver, was entertaining, right on time, and very warm and friendly :-) Kept us laughing all the way there and back!
A great day out visiting/viewing key sites along the causeway coast. Our driver/guide Stephen was really impressive with his knowledge and ability to talk and drive! The coach was a smaller than average - we felt really lucky with that. Felt a bit sorry that we couldn’t get closer to the castle but knew in advance we’d only have time for photos so that’s not a criticism of the tour. The giant’s causeway itself was very busy with tourists and I hope to go back at a quieter time at some point. But we had a good amount of time there to walk along the cliff paths. Don’t buy a drink at the pub there - it’s very expensive! Overall a great way to make an initial visit to that area and would definitely recommend Odyssey.
It’s more than just a tour of the area it’s also a history lesson. The time flies because you are enjoying yourself so much.
Tips: Sit on the right side of the bus and bring a wind breaker - this trip was fantastic. Our driver Stephen was incredibly knowledgeable of the local lore and had planned our trips around the big tours in order to avoid traffic. He was super fun to be around, and gave a great tour!
Guide very knowledgeable and informative Experience was really good value Highly recommend Steve the driver
We absolutely loved this tour! It was a great way to see some of Northern Ireland’s highlights in one day, and everything was very well organised. Our guide Steve was brilliant — funny, entertaining and full of interesting stories. He kept us on schedule and made sure we arrived at each stop before the crowds, which made a big difference. There were only 23 people in our group, so the coach was a perfect size and much more comfortable than a large tour bus. The Giants Causeway was definitely a highlight. One small tip: there isn’t a specific lunch stop, so bring a packed lunch. We ate ours at the Giants Causeway with a beautiful view, which actually worked out perfectly! Would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you want a well-organised day with a great guide.
Odyssey were great. It's a nice wee little coach. And our driver Steve was brilliant. Funny and informative. Really recommend .
Excellent trip, comfortable coach, beautiful scenery and plenty of time to see the sites we stopped to visit. Guide Paul was knowledgeable and friendly.
Overall a great tour- lots of driving but most was very scenic. There really is not a good meal spot so perhaps pack food. Dark hedges was not that exciting - maybe if you watch game of thrones.
We took a taxi from cruise ship to the meeting point which was very easy. Much cheaper than cruise ship excursions. We had a great day even though it was a bit wet. John our driver was lovely full of funny stories. Smaller coach which was great.
We had the best time on this tour. The driver Paul was super knowledgeable about so many things. Even got a song. The giant causeway was stunning. We will definitely use this service again.
Fantastic Giant's Causeway tour! Everything was well organized, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the journey enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Northern Ireland!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. John, our tour guide, was kind, knowledgeable, and patient as he answered all our questions. The Giant's Causeway is a must see and we definitely would recommend this tour.
Stephen our guide was knowledgeable and an incredible driver. Great day trip to the Causeway
Fantastic experience, Stephen was a great tour guide, really funny and knowledgeable of not just the places we visited but of Northern Ireland in general. 10/10 experience would recommend Odyssey Tours and Stephen to anyone traveling in NI.
Fantastic day! Not too large of a group with plenty of time spent at stops. Paul was an excellent guide and was incredibly friendly.
Paul was our tour guide and driver. He made a real effort to be informative and entertain. Clearly very knowledgeable about Irish history and a good and careful driver. We were in a small party of around 15 people on a small but comfortable minibus. When we arrived at each location Paul was clear on how long we had and what to look out for/do. I’d describe this as a taster tour of the various sites. The highlight was the Giant’s Causeway, but there really is only just enough time to see it rather than explore. You do however have enough time to get a feel for the place. We are National Trust members and so entry was free and we took the guided tour. If you bypass the National Trust entrance, then entry is free, which Paul told us. As we wound our way up the east coast, Paul was giving information about what we could see and telling us about the local history. We stopped at Dunluce Castle, which we saw from a distance, looks impressive. We also saw the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge at Portaneevy, which really is in the distance, but the coastal & mountain views are great. We stopped at the Dark Hedges, we knew nothing about them, turns out to be a tree lined road, very nice but not really anything special. We made our way to the Bushmills distillery, there’s the option to try the Whiskey and other drinks too. Not enough time to do the tour. Overall, we really enjoyed this trip, good value for money, fun and informative. We will be returning, when we will hire a car and revisit the places we liked and stay a bit longer.
We had a lovely and entertaining all day tour to the Giant’s Causeway with Odyssey Tours. Our coach driver, Stephen, was very knowledgable and a great, funny, and very interesting guide. We would easily recommend this trip, especially if Stephen happened to be your driver / guide.
Exceptional tour. Stephen the tour guide ( Jul 20) was excellent. One of the best tours I've been on in any country.
Paul was fantastic driver and guider :)) I would make this wee trip again with this company :))
Steven was well practiced and engaging. Very educational and good value of money for a whole day trip
Wonderful tour with smaller comfortable bus. We enjoyed our guide and driver Steven who is quite knowledgeble.
great tour - tour guide paul was knowledgeable and funny an asset to odyssey tours. we did the small causeway tour so not one of the huge coaches and this made a difference. we had enough time at each stop to experience and photograph.
Well packaged. Paul with Odyssey Tours was a fun guide.. loved all his stories and his sense of humor; on top of that he is an awesome driver navigating us through small villages and windy roads. Loved the whole day. Not too long and just enough time at each stop and visit. Highly recommend .. book it.
Great day trip, packing in all the things you’d like to see, good value for money with an excellent tour guide
The driver is excellent his timing is amazing how he is able to schedule the leaving time to avoid all the grounds for the bathrooms and restaurants. Amazing
Looked at various companies but this one stood out by far. The other reviews said it all. Absolutely brilliant even though it rained and was misty! Stephen was fantastic. A wealth of knowledge and very entertaining. Kept our spirits up in the bad weather. The small coach is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were able to zip in front of other larger coaches and get to locations first. If you want to do this trip and would highly recommend that you do, don’t bother looking anywhere else.
Paul was a fantastic tour guide, informative, friendly and a good crack. The length of time was just right at each stop
This was such a wonderful holidays experience for us. The guide and the driver was awesome. He explained everything very well to us. He was humble polite and very supportive. He is a gem. The service was prompt and worth the money. I would recommend them to everyone. I will choose them next time too. Thank you for the service.
Steven our driver was excellent. He gave us lots of information about what we were seeing. There’s plenty of time at the Giant’s Causeway. Smaller bus is much more interesting and comfortable.
Our guide Paul was absolutsly excellent! Fully made the trip with his knowledge, entertainment and friendlyness. Not only was he able to tell us about the places we were visiting but also gave lota of information throughout the routes and placss we were driving through. A real credit to the company. All locations had adequate stay time to get what you needed! Fully reccommended.
Paul is the most amazing tour guide we have ever met. What enchanting storytelling he does! He is so knowledgeable about history, geography, culture, and current affairs. The way he connected the past to the present took us back to times we never got to live through or witness, yet we deeply felt every moment as he described them. Even my boys (12 and 14), who are usually not good listeners, were completely intrigued and listened attentively throughout. We have now returned from Northern Ireland, but the beautiful feelings and love for this place that he filled us with will definitely stay with us forever. Thank you, Paul. Stay happy and healthy. (From the tour on 25 May 2026)
Stephen is an absolute delight as a tour guide, and he kept us engaged with stories about Belfast's history as well as information about the sites we visited. Great tour, excellent guide and a wonderful way to spend a day taking in the sites.
Excellent trip. Comfortable coach and knowledgeable tour guide. Enjoyed my day here at Northern Ireland
Stephen was an engaging and informative guide, as well as a competent and experienced driver. We were given a potted history of the 'Troubles', as we made our way out of Belfast, which was helpful. He managed the challenging coastal roads well - we were pleased to be in a smaller vehicle and not a full-sized coach. The Antrim coast is spectacular. Stops were well-timed and we were given sufficient information before arrival. The highlight for us was the Giant's Causeway - the main reason we chose Odyssey being the longer time we had there. Being National Trust members was a bonus for us, as well, as we made use of the excellent Visitor's Centre. We enjoyed walking down to the Causeway and the beautiful coastline. (NB Free transport down & back is available to NT members - a bonus anyone not reasonably fit.) We were also blessed by bright sunshine, after earlier driving through clouds and rain. I rated four rather than five stars only because pick-up was not on time and at the end of the tour the reason was revealed - we were driven some way out to a cruise liner dock to drop off a handful of passengers (we had wondered why the coach was not empty on arrival) and we then had to crawl back through the traffic, making the trip longer than expected. It was the reason why the note we had ready to press into Stephen's palm as we left was slipped back into my pocket - the only blip on an otherwise excellent day.
Our Driver Stephen did a terrific job of narrating the important topics of what we would be seeing. His friendly and humorous personality really made our day. My only disappointment I would say is to ask you to stop advertising the Rope Bridge in this tour since it’s obviously not possible to take the tour buses in there any longer and this is misleading to the customer. Overall our tour was a wonderful experience. Lucie and Lola from YYC
