This was such a wonderful full day tour to the Giants Causeway stopping at a number of beautiful places on the way. The perfect amount of time at each stop, and a couple of hours to explore and walk around the Giants Causeway once you arrived. The highlight for me was the tour guide. Karl was absolutely brilliant, funny and friendly, full of knowledge and amazing stories, keeping you entertained the whole journey and providing lots of tips for your visit to Northern Island. I would highly recommend this tour. Well worth the price and good for Game of Thrones fans too. Fantastic!
Excellent tour, Karl our drivers was brilliant, his knowledge was great, while trips was great from start to finish. Highly recommend.
It is a long trip, but you will see a lot. Many stops along the tour makes it enjoy able. But you need to understand the irish language. It is not the same as english. I did not understand much of it. He talked very fast and non stop. My wish is that he could speak english and slower and not so much.
Generally this was a good tour and the earlier stops (Carrickfergus Castle, a seaside village, overlook to the Carrick-a-Rede bridge, pub lunch) were great with the right amount of time at each stop. What rubbed me the wrong way on the tour was the guide actively encouraging everyone to skip paying in the National Trust visitor centre at Giants Causeway, so I'm taking a star off for that. I get that he's trying to save people money, but tour groups like this one are continually disgorging huge numbers of people on this natural landscape and the National Trust is responsible for protecting it. This is the marquee stop on the tour, so your business model relies on exploiting this for free. The last stop, the Dark Hedges, proves an organization with the resources to protect these natural sites is necessary. Nobody is protecting that and it was clearly so overtouristed and needed it. More than half of the original trees have died off and it's not really worth seeing anymore.
A Lovely relaxing day out to see the beautiful coastline. Patrick made the day he was funny, and a fountain of knowledge. We didn’t have to think about anything he told us everything we needed to know. Would highly recommend this day tour.
Very much enjoyable tour and a really nice guide
Great trip. Coach driver, Karl, gave lots of very useful information about sites visited and area throughout the day. Couldn't have been more helpful. Paid for front seats which was definitely worthwhile as great views. Would highly recommend.
What a lovely day visiting the Giant's Causeway in north west Ireland. Patrick was our driver, yes, who would have thought our Irish bus driver would be named Patrick?! He was an absolute professional throughout the tour. Clear, concise information and instructions at every stop. The tour was more than just the Giant's Causeway, it included many stops and scenery that only Ireland can offer. I encourage every-one to engage McComb's to sightsee around Ireland. Great Job Patrick. A+++.
This was an amazing tour. The driver Patrick was fantastic and kept us laughing but also very well informed about the sites. It is a trip I would recommend to the young and old.
The trip was a great way of seeing the local sights and experiencing the beauty of the Giant’s Causeway. The guide was really knowledgeable and very friendly.
Absolutely brilliant day! I travelled with my mum my wife and our 2 boys (18 and 15) and we all had a brilliant day, favourite part of the day was the Causeway itself amazing place
We paid £90 for two adults. October 2026. We chose the premium seats. Right at the front, well worth it. Rain and low cloud on the day prevented the views of Scotland and some other views (the rope bridge) but that didnt ruin the best day of our 5 days in N.I. Karl the driver was amusing and informative. We got plenty of time to enjoy the causeway, not rushed at all. 1 hour 45 mins. Would highly reccomend. I contacted other tour company prior to booking and they were unhelpful with poor customer service values.
Was a great time! Pick up was easy and prompt, bus had extra space so we could stretch out. Mark was a great guide and made some amazing turns with such a big bus! It’s a long day but you see a lot, would recommend!
Be careful doing this. Our GPS took us to the wrong pickup location so we were out over 100 dollars.
Weather not good to start with however our driver Colin re-arranged the schedule so that we arrived at the Causeway when the sun was out. It was a great day out and would thoroughly recommend it. Full marks and thanks to Colin.
A fantastic day with a great driver who was also the guide.
We attended the “Giant’s Causeway Sightseeing Day Tour from Belfast” and had a wonderful experience! First of all, I must say that Patrick, our guide, was outstanding. Having been on many tours, I’ve often found that guides try a little too hard to be funny, which can sometimes become rather annoying. Patrick, however, struck the perfect balance. He was knowledgeable, funny, and clearly very good at his job. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide! As for the tour itself, everything was beautifully organised. Unlike many tours where little attention is paid to the attendees, leaving them scrambling to find their bus at some random meeting point, this tour was exceptionally well managed. A staff member was there promptly at 8 a.m. to check the passenger list and ensure everyone was comfortably settled. The bus departed on time, and everything, from the places we visited to the food arrangements, was handled wonderfully. Overall, it was a fantastic and memorable experience. I would highly recommend McComb’s to anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful experience in Belfast!
Amazing trip even though it was raining n breezy…Collin was brilliant guide Lord bless him more success in life amen❤️
We were recently lucky enough to have a short break in Belfast and wanted to see The Giants Causeway. We booked this trip and were not disappointed, except with the Dark Hedges! We had a great driver called Karl, a big shout out to him as he was excellent. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. There are plenty of stops for photos, toilet visits and great scenery.
We had a great guide and bus driver, Paul, he certainly made the trip p better. The sights were unbelievable and incredible.
Well planned itinerary with an excellent and safe driver, who provided the commentary. Frequent stops for toilets, coffee and shops. The route is fantastic, I had no idea how beautiful the coast was. The Giants Causeway is very easy to walk, and a frequent bus runs if the path proves too steep for you.
Great tour and guide. The bus was clean and comfortable.
This was a great trip run by one of the Belfast coach companies, McCombs. The driver, Karl, was an absolute diamond who went out of of his way to tell us all about the history, and more, of everywhere we went. I thoroughly recommend this trip.
Highly recommend this tour and hopefully you get Karl as your guide. We were planning to go to the Giant’s Causeway in a rental car but booked the tour instead and it was well worth it. It was a relaxing day and saw so many things along the way that we would have otherwise driven right past. I recommend doing the premium seats so you’re at the front of the bus.
This was an excellent tour. Driver/guide Patrick was both a competent driver and kept us well informed of the sights and agenda. He was extremely clear on departure times and locations. Food at the luncheon spot was very good and incredibly quick.
Even though it’s a day of travel it’s well organised. Patrick our driver was fun and kept a great commentary. You see some beautiful countryside.
Excellent day trip. Well organised and such a good way to experience more of Northern Ireland if you’re in Belfast. Informative, humours tour guide made the experience really memorable!
This was a trip with my daughter and husband. The Giant's Causeway hiking trail offers a unique experience of overlooking the coastal basalt cliffs from a high vantage point—a breathtaking view that will leave you with unforgettable memories. Its unique landscape and other attractions are highly During the trip, all tourists travel together by private vehicle, with ample time for hiking and sightseeing to fully appreciate the scenery. recommended for day travelers with limited time. Our whole family enjoyed it and would love to visit again. It’s very good.
A fabulous day trip covering so many different sights. We left at 8-15am arriving back around 6-15pm with Karl being our excellent guide, he was very entertaining and knowledgeable on all of the places visited and there was plenty of time to see all of the places visited. Lunch was a stop at a pub where you pre ordered food on the coach beforehand but we did not know this so took food with which we ate in the beer garden. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend.
This is a well planned tour to visit and view some iconic sights in Northern Ireland. The Giant’s Causeway was astounding. In case you are not aware of it, there is a shuttle bus available at the causeway you can use instead of taking the about third of a mile walk down to them, it costs one pound or one euro each way (you can pay for it with either of the two currencies). Well worth it to give you additional time there. Sadly, the site charges for admission to the visitors center (the causeway is free) they will not allow you to get into their gift shop without paying the admission fee. There is a hotel there with a gift shop the size of a small walk in closet. We had a nice lunch on the tour, the food was good and reasonably priced. The Game of Thrones stops were also good. The tour was a good value and was very reasonably priced. The reviews I read were accurate and we were no disappointed.
John did a fantastic job. His commentary along the day is very engaging and entertaining. Keeps you up the whole time. This tour includes many stops with access to toilets and food. John makes sure you have a remarkable day out of the city. 10/10, highly recommended!
Excellent tour, excellent tour guide. Patrick shared his knowledge and passion , and explained clearly the expectations on the bus and at stops. Fantastic!
We had a trip tour lead by Patrick our Bus Driver - Tour Leader. Patrick did a great job on both accounts. The bus ride was long but well worth it as the scenery was fantastic. The stops were great featuring the Giant’s Causeway and the Dark Hedges. We purchased premium tickets and for us they were well worth it as the view outfront was great to have
This was a fun day trip from Belfast! There is lots of stops so you do not feel like you are sitting on a bus all day. I liked exploring The Giant’s Causeway!
Gina was an awesome tour guide! Very enjoyable day. Highly recommend this tour. Really liked the sheepdog demonstration.
8 of our best friends traveled together to Ireland & this excursion was one of our favorites! Our main goal was to visit Giant’s Causeway, but the trip & all the stops we made before & after the Causeway were fabulous! I would highly recommend this excursion. Ray, our driver & guide was wonderful, Informative & friendly! The bus was comfortable( tip: get there early to check in so you have choice of your seats & know there are no bathrooms on the bus- but they make timely pit stops). Enjoy!
Must do if you're in Belfast! Well paced tour with lots of great stops. Very interesting if you watched GoT. Our tour guide was Karl and he was very funny and knowledgeable. Would definitely do again.
We had a great day today out with Colin on the day trip to Giants Causeway. Colin was an excellent guide and driver, giving us all the details we needed to get a good look at all the sites and to really enjoy the day. The timing of each stop was just right. We brought water and snacks, but didn’t really need to as there are several places along the way to get those, as well as a nice lunch stop where we had a drink and a hot lunch at our own expense. Overall thoroughly enjoyable would highly recommend it to others.
It’s a long day but well worth the time and effort to experience new and interesting locations, sites and facts!
This was an amazing way to spend the day. Loaded with lots of incredible stops and photo opps. Our driver and guide John was full of knowledge and made sure we were all cared for.
Very prompt pick up, stunning views, helpful guide
Absolute must see. A beautiful stunning place.
Patrick was an excellent guide, really informative and entertaining- he made the day
Had a great day out exploring Northern Island. Patrick was a wonderful tour guide. Great value for money.
This was a good tour, besides the highlight of the Causeway, it hit a few other tourist sites along the way. It was well organized and kept on schedule the whole way. If you can cope with 50 other passengers, this tour was nice.
Patrick was great, as a tour guide and bus driver at the same time. We also enjoyed his subtle sense of humour as well. The tour was enjoyable despite the weather in the 2nd half of the tour. All in all, we would recommend this tour, especially for GoT fans.
I had the best of time traveling down the Cliffs to see the Giants causeway. It was raining, of course, and a LONG way down with, I believe 160 steps also. It was amazing to walk along the water and the steps, definitely got some great photos. I would recommend anyone to make this sop on their trip. Met some very nice people from all over the world on the back to the bus.
Great day from start to finish! Interesting and informative commentary delivered by Ray our driver. A great way to see the countryside and stops were well chosen culminating in the Giants Causeway, Bush brewery and the Dark Hedges. Very good value for money too!
What a fabulous day! We got on the coach at 8am and experienced a great day of sightseeing. Ray our driver knew so much about all the places we visited and delivered the information with humour. The stops were well timed and included a great variety of sightseeing opportunities. The Giants Causeway was breathtaking as were the Dark Hedges. The whole day was amazing and great value for money. Thank you!
