Itinerary
Visit the Titanic Museum for around 1.5 hours and learn the story of the Titanic ocean liner and her ill-fated maiden voyage. The story comes alive with innovative technology, scale models and more. The museum expands over 9 galleries and draws together special effects, dark rides and full-scale reconstructions. The experience contains interactive features so you can truly explore the Titanic story in an insightful light. The journey will take you beyond the aftermath of the sinking to the later discovery of the ship. This tour will also take you to the present day with a tour of the live undersea exploration centre.
Be prepared to be met by the most spectacular sight. This wild and beautiful formation is a consequence of ancient volcanic activity, the solidified lava now layered across 40,000 hexagonal columns stretching for a distance of over 6km. You can stroll along this UNESCO World Heritage-listed site for around 1.5 hours and see formations such as the Wishing Chair, the Giant' Boot and Organ. There is a different version of how the Causeway was formed. The Irish giant Finn McCool while preparing for battle with his Scottish rival, is said to have angrily fired rocks into the sea to forge a path to nearby Scotland. However on seeing the size of his would-be adversary, he quickly retreats tearing the ground and ripping the stones as he hastily moves. Similar types of stone found in Scotland give weight to this tale of two feuding giants! Even today the Causeway continues to stir imagination and inspire folklore.
Stop at the Dark Hedges for around 20 minutes, a centuries-old lane of beech trees that have been featured in films and on television. In the TV series Game of Thrones, the Dark Hedges was featured in season 2 as the King's Road.

beautiful country but overpriced for what you get to see and do.... Tour guide should get more history details
The Giants Causeway and Titanic tour are a must see. The tour company was just OK. The pickup spot was confusing as most people ended up on the wrong side of the street.
Very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide and driver Noel & Goran. Gave us a lot of information that was useful and helpful
Punctual, good team members and very friendly and knowledgeable about aspects of the tour All the party enjoyed the experience
Spectacular and totally unexpected. Loved the giants causeway. Followed by titanic experience, amazing.
There are places to get a bite to eat and drink along the way. The Nook at the Causeway had great chips and Smithwicks was refreshing after hiking the Causeway Noel our guide was very knowledgeable, informative and helpful Driver was very good too
Fantastic tour clean air conditioned coach picked us up and first stop The Giants Causeway. Peter our guide was a wealth of knowledge and there was a good mix of that and music to chill to. Wasn’t rushed at the Causeway which was amazing and had time for a drink and snack before heading back to Belfast. Stopping to see the rope bridge and then the Dark Hedges which were great. Finally the Titanic experience which was just amazing!! Highly recommend so tastefully done and fully immersive. Five stars plus for the whole day!!!!
loads of people told me there wouldn't be enough time to do the causeway and titanic museum but there definitely was for us. the excursion was excellently organised and tour guide knowledgeable. woild defo recommend
Family trip! This was a great experience, love all the history and fun little ride, highly recommend!
This was an excellent tour. Our guide Quiggs was knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his country and its history and culture. The Causeway did not disappoint and the Titanic museum was a bucket list item checked!
Nolan and Deckland were great guide and driver! Both the giants causeway and the titanic are must sees if ever in Belfast. The cliff stop, castle picture op and the dark road were also nice. Pickup & drop off were smooth. Highly recommend.
It’s very informative and there is a lot of walking, make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Either bring a packed lunch or some spending money for snacks along the way. Brian and Jacob were our guides and they were brilliant, I thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would definitely recommend it.
Excellent tour guide Lisa, who delivered great insight into Irish history, with added humour. 💯 recommend. Amazing sightseeing and beautiful pictures captured!
This was a great day with Jacob and Brian! We saw lots of interesting things and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Thanks!
We were collected on time in Belfast on a coach that had made its way from Dublin. Tbf, early February isnt the best time to visit some sites but we had a reasonably dry day. We made our way to Giants Causeway which is a couple of hours drive, all of which was filled with our host Quinny constantly talking. After a while both I and my partner found this pretty wearing especially as too much had an anti English, Pro Republican theme, to the extent that IRA atrocities were almost excused. One call out for Giants Causeway was the Irish Stew that we had in the local pub which was excellent. We then made our way back via Dark Hedges (not great in winter with no leaves on the trees ) and the Titanic Exhibition which was very good. We made our own way home from there. Would I recommend this? No - mainly because sometimes a bit of peace is welcome on long coach trips and partly because (whilst accepting that the history of England and Ireland is complicated - as our Late Queen said "It would have been better if some things had been done differently - or not at all!") I dont think it is good practice to try to make your paying customers feel that they are to blame for all your ills. The English generally treat the Irish as beloved family. Some reciprocation would be appreciated as would some periods of quiet!
Great trip , as advertised , bring a drink and some lunch . Very few places to get a drink. Enough time spent apart from dark hedges needed more time. Very good value for money
Very nicely put together, with lots of information at the driving time and enough time to explore in Irish weather. Thanks to guide Mia and driver Fred
Great day from Belfast up to the causeway, dark hedges, titanic museum and more. Brilliant value and a full day, Peter was a brilliant guide
Excellent tour! Great guide, nice bus, and wonderful itinerary. Three of us got picked up in Belfast and Mark (our guide) even saved us seats together. Very thoughtful guide. We would highly recommend!
The tour was fabulous highlighting “must sees” when visiting Northern Ireland. However, the bus seats were rather uncomfortable > very little leg room. Also, as the tour originated in Dublin, we missed a lot of history from the tour guide because he had been with them for 2 hours before we got on the tour bus.
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Weather did not co-operate but our guides made up for the bad weather. Titanic museum was well worth the stop. Could have used more time.
Booked 4 Day Break NewMarket Holidays Belfast and Titanic Experience Fantastic Like to Say a thank you to Colin our Tour Guide, and Joe our Driver
We booked the Giant’s Causeway and Titanic Experience from Belfast Port through Viator, and while the sights themselves were stunning, the tour was a huge letdown because of the guide. The biggest issue was the way passengers were treated. At every stop we were given very little time, and instructions on where to meet the bus were vague and confusing. At both the Giant’s Causeway and the Titanic Experience, we wasted time just trying to figure out where the bus was. When we ended up a few minutes late because of this, the guide scolded us in front of everyone. On the bus itself, he went so far as to tell people to stop talking — like we were children on a school trip instead of paying adults. I’ve been on many tours, and I’ve never experienced anything like this. The constant rushing, unclear directions, and condescending attitude completely soured what should have been an amazing day. The locations were fantastic, but the tour guide ruined the experience. If you’re considering this excursion, think twice. The sites are worth seeing — but not with this company.
Amazing day out. Loved it all. The guide was friendly and informative. The highlight was the Titanic Museum.
Our tour guide Quiggs was amazing! He was knowledgeable, held our attention and was ever so slightly theoretical. He offered great advice at each of the stops. Our entire family made memories that will last a lifetime at the Giant’s Causeway (red route). Our family members were age 9 to 69 and we all made it! Highly recommend this tour! Highly recommend Quiggs!
This was a fantastic tour as the tour guide gave us ample notice of when to be back on the bus, there were extra stops with extraordinary views, and loads of historical commentary from the tour guide. Highly recommend if you want to see a bunch of places but do not want to bother with all of the driving and parking.
Great time at the Giant's Causeway, definitely worth it to walk down rather than use the shuttle, if physically able. 4/5 stars due to only having 1.5 hrs at the Titanic Experience. Definitely would suggest spending at least 2.5 hrs. Great exhibit but felt rushed going through the entire experience. Great tour guide throughout the day!
Wish I could give it more than 5 stars! Highly recommend this tour and tour company. First, we had booked tour and when asked about getting to pick up from cruise port - they called and let me know they had a tour leaving from port and they were happy to transfer me to that bus. We were greeted by John the tour driver - he immediately made us feel welcome and we knew we would have a blast - very funny very personable. We then met Justin the tour guide - again very funny, very personable and extremely knowledgable. On our way to Giants Causeway we stopped at a castle for photo op - went by golf event and another photo op at Bushmill Distillery Upon arrival at Giants he advised us to walk and others as needed to take the shuttle - he outlined time which included a quick pop into the pub for food! We then went had additional photo ops with cows on the beach and the rope bridge. We got a tour of town of Belfast including a visit to the wall and history of South vs Northern Ireland. Extremely interesting and learned a lot. We then went to the Titanic Museum and experience - something not to be missed - do wish we had 30 more minutes here - very interactive and breaks your heart. We had a jammed pack day - got 2 tours in one day and John and Justin kept us on time to allow for the stops and photo ops.
Amazing trip! Mae and Rob were informative and very kind. This was our best excursion of our trip so far. Definitely recommend!
Such an incredible experience. Unforgettable. This memory will always be in my heart. Lots of walking but when you get at the top of the Giant's Causeway, it's a different feeling.
Highly recommended day tour. Nice drive and several scenic stops along with couple of hours at Giants Causeway, which was enough time to hike the full loop. Also enjoyed 1.45 hours at the excellent Titanic museum. Luke was our guide who was great. Good value for money as includes museum entrance which is around £25.
Both our driver and tour guide were amazing (Brian and Connor). They were very informative, comedic, and expanded our tour to share more of Ireland’s history. The Giant’s Causeway and the Ttanic Museum were incredible! We absolutely loved this tour!
Did not happen, no bus, changed itinerary just a disaster all round. Totally unacceptable situation and utterly unprofessional and disappointing. Will expect a refund but our day was totally ruined and stressful.
Wonderful! Glad they were driving and not me! We were incredibly lucky with the weather especially at Giants Causeway! I got to go all the way to the edge! Noel was a great guide!
The bus was on time at the pick up point (opposite The Garrick pub in Belfast). Harry made everyone welcome and spent most of the lengthy journey to The Giants Causeway giving us a potted history of Northern Ireland…some interesting, some not so much. I was surprised that we were dropped off, and picked up, at the side of the road, rather than the car park and the visitor centre was not included in the tour price. There is a small electric shuttle bus which takes you down to the Causeway and back up again (£1 each way) or you can walk! Plenty of time to enjoy the amazing structures of the Causeway. We stopped at the GoT location of the Dark Hedges, but I decided on a cup of tea in the cafe instead! We returned to Belfast and the Titanic exhibition, which I really enjoyed. The methods of construction were well displayed and fascinating. The tour is well laid out and explained. Personally, I found it a bit sad, taking into consideration the fatal conclusion. A very long day, but very enjoyable overall. I gave 4* rather than 5 because of the side of the road “situation” and non inclusion of the visitor centre.
Great Tour from Belfast to Giant Causeway & Titanic. Enjoyed very much. Guide is very knowledgable on Ireland History. Trip has real value for the money. Well planned.
A fantastic and well organised tour. The guide and driver were very informative and helpful. The whole day was amazing - the weather helped massively as it was beautiful spring day. Lots of opportunities to take photos of the beautiful landscape and the opportunity to stay at The Titanic Exhibition longer if we didn’t want the coach back to central Belfast - which suited us as we stayed at The Titanic hotel. The ride in The Titanic Museum was well worth the wait and very informative
This is not a cruise tour, you have to get yourself to downtown Belfast, which is pretty easy with the $10 USD pink shuttle bus (round trip per person), a 5 minute walk from their drop off. Problem was there was no office or meeting place facility, just a street corner which wasn’t described well as all the other people congregated were on the wrong side of the street due to their poor, outdated drop off instructions. One bus came up, almost totally full of people, as bus came from Dublin. Told is was Causeway & Whiskey tour by the tour guide (not dressed very professionally wore a flannel shirt at first thought he was a homeless person), after said we were not on whiskey but causeway & titanic, he said we need to wait for second bus. After second bus came, that tour guide said we were not on his bus either. Homeless tour guide read his roster and said oh yes, you are on our bus. Got the last two seats in the back, cramped, hot & claustrophic. Luckily the bus had a toilet which was the savings grace for a 1+ hour journey to the causeway. Rest of day went off fine, but I don’t think I’d use this company again, they didn’t have their s together, as this is their business, they need to dot their i’s and cross their t’s.
We got to see a lot of places on this tour but it didn't feel too rushed. The Giants Causeway and Titanic museum were both very busy when we went at Easter. I'd try and avoid holiday times if I went again.
There was no information provided about the fact that the bus was coming from Dublin. It was 30mins late. I sent 2 messages to the tour operator but there was no response. We were standing in the cold rain with no idea where the bus was, what it looked like and when it would arrive. It was my first ever poor experience with a viator booking. The tour itself was ok but even at dark hedges for example, the tour guide did not accompany us. We had to find the path ourselves. I would not recommend this tour.
There was a lot of walking and to be honest found the causeway very average, it looked like any other coastline
Need to be prepared for a full day, quite physical but enjoyable. Great value and informative guides
We had a fantastic tour with Guide Noel and driver Tomas......Noel was full of information and funny anecdotes. The Giants Causeway is a must visit and you won't be disappointed if you go with these guys .....there was a pub (surprise surprise) called The Nook at the top near the path down to the Causeway itself. We had a fantastic pint of Guinness there ...Then we went to a photo stop at Dunluce Castle and onto another at The Dark Hedges I was glad we visited despite having never seen The game of Thrones 🫣🫣🫣 .we then visited The Titanic experience which was a real eye opener. It bought the story of events into a real life experience with plenty to see and get involved in. Overall a fun packed brilliant day!
Awesome experience walking along the Giant causeway trail and wonderful Titanic experience at the famous Titanic museum.
Jarred / Gerard was an accomplished tour guide giving just the right amount of information throughout our trip. He was ably assisted by the driver Saleh.
The road was closed to see the Dark Hedges but the driver and guide made it such a memorable experience by providing us a personalized tour around Belfast and shared the city’s treasures and history!
Brilliant tour with a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide Jarred !!! Can believe how much we packed into 1 day, but didn't feel rushed at all. Would 100% use them again
Brian and Jarred were our tour guides and they were a fantastic duo. They provided historical facts as well as current cultural information about the area. Due to construction on the roadways, we couldn’t make it to the dark hedges. However, Brian and Jarred quickly came up with an alternate plan which included a tour of downtown Belfast, the solidarity wall, and the peace wall. Brian had personal accounts and stories of times during The Troubles, which I really appreciated hearing about. This is why we travel, to learn about other people, and their stories. The entire trip of the giants causeway was picturesque and worth the trip. The views were simply astounding.
Quiggs and Darius were great. Great commentary. I learned so much. So much packed into the day. Bus was very comfortable. Ran right on time!
