Giant's Causeway Private Tour With Luxury Mercedes From Belfast

Communication Terrible. Didn't know until after 9pm the night before what time we were to be picked up the next morning. Driver offered to show us additional places, but never explained how long it would take, how much it would cost, or even that there would be an extra fee. Got an invoice a few hours after we returned to the hotel for an additional $250£. Not the way I expect a Viator vendor to treat customers. Paid it because I'm not one to owe anybody anything, but regret doing so.

We are a small group of two but had the absolute best day ever in Belfast/Northern Ireland. Mick was amazing. Prompt on arrival, had waters in the car for us. He first took us to Belfast Castle then on to the Giants Causeway with other stops along the beautiful coastline along the way. Our driver made reservations for us to see Bushmills and made sure we not only had great photo stops but made sure to get us settled for a lovely lunch and took extra time with us showing us additional stops. We can not recommend Mcillroy chauffeur services enough. So worth it. Mick was fantastic so ask for him

We couldn't have asked for a better day with our guide, Frank! He took us to so many incredible places, including the Rope Bridge, Belfast Castle, and the Giant's Causeway. His knowledge of the area's history was outstanding, and he even added a few extra stops that he thought we'd enjoy, making the experience feel truly personalized. We stopped at a local pub for a Guinness, and throughout the day Frank made sure we were comfortable by providing plenty of snacks and drinks in the car between adventures. If you're deciding between a private tour and a cruise ship excursion, choose the private tour. It offered far more value for the money, a flexible itinerary tailored to our interests, and a much more personal experience. We had an unforgettable day and highly recommend Frank!

We could not have asked for a better experience and day! The transportation from our hotel in Dublin and back to exploring Northern Ireland was just what we wanted. The conversation on the drive too and from Dublin made the drive go by so quickly. Peter was a joy! Michael's expertise allowed us to be able to explore the Dark Hedges and Dunluce Castle without the crowds. To walk almost the whole Dark Hedges and only see people at the very end was such a special start to our day! Dunluce was amazing and I could have been there all day. The Giants Causeway, Bushmills, Carrick a Rede were spectacular. I was too scared to walk the rope bridge but my husband loved it and the shore cliff views were amazing!! Prepare for a big walk back up once you go down! Bring a coffee like I did from the little cafe before the walk and make it a relaxing walk! The lunch recommendation from Michael hit the spot. We enjoyed every part of our tour and are so happy we chose to add it to our Ireland trip. Michael even took us to tour Belfast, his home town and his church. What a nice private touch...he opened our eyes with his experience and others experiences growing up in Belfast, as did Peter. Thank you both so much for making our trip so memorable. We hired McIlroy Chauffer Services for a half day tour of Belfast, an all-day tour of the Antrim Coast (Giants Causeway and more), and an airport ride to Dublin on another day. Our driver was Peter, who took us around in a Mercedes sedan (meticulously taken care of). These day trips were the highlight of our two week vacation in Ireland. The beauty of the north area is incredible and indescribable. Peter was able to get in places unseen by the large tour buses. He timed our visits to beat the crowds and even changed up the iternary based on our family's interests. Making sure our 11 year old had time to visit an amusement area and dad was able to see Royal Portrush. The Belfast tour included highlights of Belfast and included an area tour of the Troubles. It was an eye-opening history tour. His personal touch to this trip was amazing and heartfelt. His thoughtfulness was also very much appreciated (buying snacks for us on the 2nd day). The trips were reasonably priced, and there was no way we could have done and seen the things we did on a larger bus with a large group of people. We felt like royalty. Our tour to Northern Ireland was the highlight of our entire stay in Ireland. The communication with Michael and team was exceptional from day one. Our driver (Paul) was super friendly, skilled at navigating our schedule and extremely accommodating to our needs. Paul treated us like family and taught us a lot about Irish history. Aside from all, the views and scenery was out of this world! Do not hesitate to hire this company.

Our driver was excellent. He went out of his way to make sure we were safe and happy. For example he handed us an umbrella when it started to rain. He chose a local bar for us to have the best fish and chips we ever had and he made an unscheduled stop at a post office to purchase stamps to mail our postcards

He was so friendly, eager to please, made sure we were comfortable, patiently waited at each stop while we visited the Belfast Castle, walked through the Dark Hedges, and the Bushmill distillery. We had a wonderful day with Paul. We appreciated all the information he shared as we travelled from Belfast to the Causeway. He was extremely flexible on our travel plans allowing us to spend time at each location based on our needs - sometimes it was a quick picture and other times, we wanted to explore a little longer. Paul is professional, fun and an amazing driver. I would highly recommend if you are coming to Ireland to book him! We considered him family when our trip came to an end.

We had a great time. Our driver, Michael, was responsive and attentive! Car was super clean and comfortable. It was a little unclear about how to add additional stops to our itinerary but we ended up not adding any, finding Giant's Causeway itself to be enough! It's fantastic! Recommend if you want to travel to just the Causeway for a half day tour!

My wife and I were the only two people on the trip. Our guide Michael was awesome. He personalized the trip on the fly based on some questions. He had detailed local knowledge and took us to MANY great views off the beaten path. It was a great experience.

My son and I toured the Antrim coast with Michael as our guide. It was cloudy and rainy when he arrived at our hotel but he promised us a beautiful day and he didn’t disappoint. It was a spectacular day. We visited the Dark Hedges where we walked through the trees from one side to the other before anyone else arrived. We explored the Dunluce Castle ruins which were situated along a beautiful coastline; they were fascinating and just a little bit eerie. From there we went to Carrick-a-rede, also along the water and also very beautiful. It was definitely worth crossing the bridge to explore the tiny island next to the mainland. Our final stop was Giants Causeway where there was more activity but still plenty of space for us to walk and climb. Michael was great, he made additional scenic stops, answered questions about sites we visited as well as questions we asked about current affairs. He gave us as much time as we wanted at each of the stops and dropped us off in Belfast at a stop that was convenient for our evening plans. I highly recommend this tour. It was the highlight of our trip to Ireland!
