Generally a very nice tour but the tour guide - although a very nice nan/ was far too talkative about things that weren’t relevant!.

Great value for money, visited a lot of sites on route to the giants causeway. Plenty of toilet and food breaks. Clean and comfy coach. Liza was our guide, very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Gabrielle was our driver who handled the tight coastal roads like a pro.
Amazing day exploring Giants Causeway, the Glens, Belfast, the coastal route, castles, and the beautiful countryside of Northern Ireland. Great value for what we received. Lisa was so knowledgable and a fountain of information. Aaron drove the coach with great care and professionalism on the narrow winding back roads. We stopped to eat at Harry’s and the fish and chips were top notch! To top it off it was a gorgeous sun shining day in the low 70’s. Our day could not have been better.
A trip to the Giants Causeway is a must when visiting Belfast. This also includes stop off at two castles and a view of the rope bridge. Stuart was the most amazing driver, a total mind of knowledge and his humour made it more enjoyable. He also helped with places to visit Belfast. Quite a lot of talking so bring earplugs if you need them!! He spoke for about 30 minutes about the game of thrones
“An incredible day exploring the breathtaking Giant’s Causeway and the highlights of Belfast. The guide was knowledgeable and the scenery along the coast was unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Northern Ireland.”
We booked the tour online, made our way to City Hall for 9pm start. The bus was quite busy with various nationalities on board qhich made for some good banter with the driver, his name was Troy he was brilliant all day long with so much information given during the tour with the odd joke thrown in. All in it was a great day out & would highly recommend, just hope you get Troy as your driver as he only does 3 days a week.
Be careful booking with City Sightseeing Belfast. Thought we had booked a trip to Giants Causeway departing from the cruise terminal as per website. The coa h never appeared and when we rang them they told us we had no record of the booking, they then told us the trip had been cancelled. Ten minutes later we had a phone call asking why we weren't on the coach from the city centre where they say we were booked from. Very poor customer service after. Be warned website poor
Fabulous day to the Giants Causeway. Tour guide Stuart (silly sausage) was knowledgeable about the tour. Belfast Hop on Hop off a good experience worth doing.
Absolutely outstanding and highly recommend both days of this tour. The Antrim coastline and Giants Causeway are magical and our tour guide on day 1-Stuart was one of the best I’ve ever met. Really friendly and knowledgeable. Day 2 on hop on hop off bus of city was very interesting and lots of fabulous and historic places to see.
Fabulous tour to the Giants Causeway, Ulster coastal route and Belfast city tour with Lisa our tour guide and Deckie our driver. Lisa was a fountain of knowledge pointing out so many interesting sights en route and providing lots of history with a lot of jest sprinkled in.
The staff at the store were welcoming and helpful. I also took the Hop-On Hop-Off tour, which was a pleasant experience—the staff were kind and friendly. Unfortunately, this was in stark contrast to the staff on the Giant’s Causeway tour on 16/05/25, where I felt I was treated very differently from other passengers. Due to a shuttle bus delay at the Giant’s Causeway, I returned to the coach 7 minutes late and was publicly scolded by the guide, the driver, and several passengers—while others who had been late twice were treated far more leniently. As the only visibly Muslim woman travelling alone on the tour, I couldn’t help but feel that this treatment may have been influenced by unconscious bias or assumptions based on my appearance.
Fantastic trip led by Lisa and Stuart. Lisa was very informative and entertaining. A 'fount of knowledge' . Lisa even made time to talk to everyone individually in the trip which made it very personal. Stuart was a great supporting act and drove with great care and precision on those very narrow roads !
Brilliant day with a brilliant driver/guide Stuart. Full day which was great value for money. Would highly recommend.
This tour was amazing and the guide Lisa was very special she told great stories and made my daughter and my experience truly memorable. I highly recommend this tour. We went on 12 January 2025 the driver was also excellent
Had a really amazing coach tour, thanks to stuart for an enjoyable trip and foing out of the way to find my bag, great banter
We had a great day on this tour. Kevin did an excellent job as driver/guide. He was very punctual and cleat about where we were going and how long we had. The only thing I would change is not eat the buffet for lunch at Dark Hedges. There is a sandwich shop right next door that we didn't know about. The beef stew tasted like Cambells soup. We loved seeing the Giants Causeway. Plenty of time there. Overall it was lovely.
We took this tour with GAVIN HE WAS THE BEST tour guide we have ever had!! His knowledge and humor made the tour very enjoyable. I dare say I would take the same tour again as long as he was leading it. Danial Turner
Great trip expert staff were friendly and informative got off at a few stops and didn't have to wait long for next pick-up I would highly recommend this tour
I Booked the trip to The Giants Causeway for my friend and myself. Bus was comfortable. The driver, Andrew, was absolutely fantastic. Very knowable and so, so funny. He had us in stitches laughing all ghe time. The Giants Causeway is a must, if you’re visiting Belfast. And don’t forget to book it through City Tours. The staff in the shop were also extremely helpful.
A fantastic trip, s must see. Well worth the money. A really enjoyable 9 hours. We visited so many places along the way Including the Bushmill distillery. The stop where we could have our lunch was lovely. Our driver was so funny, so informative & his knowledge of Game of thrones wad amazing. If your guide/ drive is Stuart your have the best day.
All stops were memorable but Giants Causeway hike above was the best and hardest. Stuart was an excellent driver and guide. He tried to please all 53 passengers and thanked us for always being on time. His knowledge of the history and helpful hints at each stop were great!
The Giant's Causeway and Dunluce Castle ( a bit further down the Antrim Coast, on this day trip tour) were both very interesting and picturesque. The visit to Belfast offered the choice of a guided Black Taxi tour of murals and points of interest from the period of "the Troubles" in Northern Ireland, or a visit to the Titanic Museum. I did the Troubles tour, and while it was informative, Belfast is not a particularly scenic tourist city (...perhaps due to the Troubles?), and I already knew a fair amount about the Troubles from movies and documentaries, and from having grown up watching news reports about the violence, so I was left wondering if I should have done the Titantic Museum, instead. The tour did however make me realize that there is still a smoldering amount of potential for renewed sectarian violence (at least for a another generation or two, or perhaps the UK granting independence/reunification with the Republic of Ireland.
The views were amazing and we had lots of stops to take pictures and toilet breaks. The tour was to the Giant Causeway and Games of Thrones, The driver who was also the guide (Stuart) was amazing. So funny, helpful and patient with us 3 elderly disabled ladies.
Lisa and Robert were amazing guides. The entire way was wonderfully narrated with very interesting facts about Belfast. Time at the causeway was a bit short. But we could have spent the day there.
The day tour to giants causeway was amazing. We had Lisa and Gerard who were fantastic. Had lovely stops for photos, and comfort stops while driving along the Antrim coast road, which was spectacular. We also had booked the hop on hop off bus as well, so was able to see everything on a city tour. Again with so much information. It’s a shame the buses stop so early
This was an ideal way to see Belfast and the Antrim coast. The city tour would be even better if the hop-on hop-off bus started earlier than 10am - the first bus was absolutely packed. The coast drive was brilliant - just the right length of time at each stop. And we had beautiful weather!
Awe inspiring rock formations (instantly know why legends were created). However, do not plan to ride the bus to or from the shoreline. The bus allegedly runs every 15 minutes, but to handle the crowd they need 4x that many busses. And the walk down and up is not gimp friendly. Belfast is also awe inspiring. The people are friendly, but they still hate each other. Sad. The gates of the city open at 7AM and close at 7PM, so after 20 years still a divided city. Belfast is finally honoring the Titanic and the museum is impressive.
This was a lovely tour. We booked via Viator and for some reason the Giants Causeway tour was put down for the wrong day so we technically missed it as we did the hop on bus on our first day. Irish Tours were really kind and did some swaps so we could still go on the tour. When booking pay particular attention to which day your Giants Causeway tour is booked for. We even emailed Viator before we left to confirm the date of the tour but there was obviously some confusion. Anyhow, the point I wanted to make was how great Irish Tours were for sorting it out quickly. The tour is a whistle stop tour, but that is what we wanted as we only had a day. It was great for kids as there were lots of stops and chances to run around for them. Caves to explore and rocks to climb at the Giants Causeway. The staff were very friendly. The coach driving was impressive and we all had a great day.
Excellent Giant Causeway trip with Game of Thrones locations too with Stuart. Stuart is very entertaining and provided lots of information. Well balanced trip. Timings were good. And the weather kind as it can occasionally (!) rain in this area 😂
We were so excited to go on this tour and from the minute it started it was a disappointment. The bus was 35 minutes late due to a road accident. The bus driver didn’t know the route (the tour guide kept telling him how to get places using apps and such). We were told because we were late leaving that the tour would last longer than expected and asked if that was a problem - non one said it was. However, then at every stop we had a “scoot and shoot” … and based on the itinerary and what we actually got, each atop was shortened almost by half the time …. so almost all stops (except the The Dark Hedge and The Causeway) were JUST “scoot and shoots”. The “stop” at Bushmills was literary time enough to walk in the gift shop and walk back. The “stop” at Dunluce Castle was at an overlook and not anywhere near the castle. The “stop” at Carrickfergus Castle was a photo op. The “stop” at the Caves of Cushendon was walking through a construction site to get to a very rocky beach to go up a odd incline to get to a cave with a cheesy replica of the throne. Many people couldn’t make it through the rocky beach ( you sank in the rocks and sand). There was no warning from the tour guide or advice or description (she stayed near the bus, waiting for the people to get back on the bus). The “stop” at the Dark Hedges was walking from a big parking lot (which the bus driver and guide couldn’t find and had to Google ….. wasting precious time) to the Dark Hedges cafe and gift shop. The “stop” for lunch was your typical tour lunch, rush in and eat in a pub addition to fit more people (not authentic) so the next tour group could come in and eat. The tour guide and bus driver were able to eat in the authentic pub area. The “stop” at The Giants Causeway was short but the best part of the tour. She kept stating that we had to be there at a certain time or we would lose our spot, I have spoke. To other tour operators and they said that is false. I have toured all over the world and this tour was horrible. The bus driver inept and the tour guide talked “a lot” but didn’t really care about any of the people or the tour. Her concern was making sure she could get back as close to on time as possible (even though she expressed that they would give us a full tour) …. of course, we did get lost for 10-15 which had the driver known the way we would have had that time to actually tour. Do not waste your time on this tour.
Great trip, sweet small coastal towns and the Giants Causeway is a wonderful unto itself. Plus we had excellent weather!
From meeting Stewart our guide for the day to arrival back this this was an excellent experience. He gave us a detailed guide of the places we visited and passed through. Little stories to make it personal. The itinary was perfectly planned. Timescales were great and we got to pack so much in. Lunch was fantastically organised with no time wasted. Ready on arrival.
Our guide, Lisa, and driver, Paddy were excellent. Friendly, approachable and well informed. We enjoyed visiting places on route but felt there were too many stops which left less than two hours at The Causeway.
Tommy was an absolutely amazing tour guide! This tour did everything from Game of Thrones locations to the amazing Giants Causeway. Although it was extremely rainy during out trip, I thoroughly enjoyed it anyway! Also shout out to Tommy's awesome Irish tunes whilst we were driving through the towns!
Great day yesterday. The bus driver was very informative and very funny as well . Very enjoyable day
Really enjoyed our Games of Thrones and Giant’s Causeway day your, followed by a day hop on hop off in Belfast. Coach was very clean and the itinerary carefully planned so lots of regular stops. Special mention and thanks to Stuart, our coach driver and guide, who kept up an engaging running commentary throughout aswell as driving. He made the trip and is excellent at his job!
Do not book!! Cancelled our trip without advising us No apology. We were only there for one day so could have ruined our whole experience. Went to the welcome centre and booked the same trip for £14 less and they returned me to my cruise ship! That’s service!!
2 day hop on and off tour which was great for seeing city centre Belfast and gaining insight into the history of Belfast. The day tour to Game of Thrones locations and Giants Causeway with Stuart was fantastic!!! He was funny, engaging, great with our kids and went above and beyond to help us when we had wee accident. Coach was immaculate and had tables which made it great for kids on long trip to draw, read etc. Stuart even able to give lunch choice and prebook-girgeous hot lunch all ready to eat on arrival 😋 food was amazing. This combined tour was perfect for us, just disappointed that The Caricckarope bridge was closed (by the National Trust) £110 for family of four, including free walk tour with Brian and entry to Causeway visitor centre, was amazing value over 3 days to visit all tour spots without having to pay extra for public transport.
Absolutely loved our Giant’s Causeway tour today! Stuart was a fantastic guide, he was very knowledgeable and also very entertaining. Very good value for money and saw so much during our tour without feeling rushed! Due to Covid there were a few changes to the tour but we were fully informed and given a break down of the itinerary at the start of the day (with the extra places we would be going instead of the stops Covid cancelled). Would definitely recommend to anyone and hope you get Stuart as he was so good 😊
Steven was the best tour guide ever! So interesting, great value for money. Would do another if I had more time
The experience was so amazing and really enjoyable. The weather was in our favour which obviously only added to the trip. The tour guide Steven was super informative, had a fab sense of humour and conveyed the history in a really engaging and fun manner. I would 100% recommend this to future visitors.
Can thoroughly recommend this day trip - well organised, timings brilliant. Our tour guide Brian & driver Stevie made sure everyone had a superb day. Fantastic info all the way, nothing too much trouble & the places visited were great. Would do it again definitely.
Just back from this amazing tour. Our hosts were friendly and fun, even had a song! The scenary in Northern Ireland is stunning and the causeway simply blows you away. The tour took us to all the best parts, no waiting or hanging about. Plenty of time to see everything. Fun packed day that even kept a 14 year old interested. Thanks to all
Well worth a visit, went with a friend on an organised bus trip and had around 2 hours there which was enough time
We had the most wonderful time exploring Northern Ireland with this combo tour. Having the entry fees included for Giant's Causeway and rope bridge along with two additional full days on the hop on hop off Belfast busses made this an unbelievable deal. We had more than enough time at each stop on the all-day bus tour and plenty of bathroom breaks at very scenic points along the way. The entire route was amazingly beautiful and we had a few lovely surprise photo op stops along the way. I cannot recommend this tour enough! It was worth every penny!
Day tour to Giant's Causeway, whiskey (with an 'e') distillery, Carrick a Rede rope bridge and a couple of incidental 'time filler' photo opportunities at two castles plus scrummy ice cream (price not included). OK I would thoroughly recommend this tour as a highly efficient way to see some highlights of Northern Ireland. Stephen even pointed out 4 or 5 Game of Throne locations so basically we benefited from some elements of a GoT tour as well ! Stuart's humour and knowledge entertained us during the coach trip, and Stephen's excellent driving expertly managed to keep us alive on the hairpin bends on the Antrim coast road back to Belfast. When combined with a pass for the hop on bus for the following day around Belfast it really was value for money for a 2 day trip to NI. Thoroughly recommend but if you do it in October bring a warm waterproof jacket.
We did the Giants Causeway trip which was a great day with stunning scenery, and the cost also included the entrance fee for the Visitor Centre, and the Carrick a Rege rope bridge which made it excellent value. We then went to the Bushmills distillery and tasted some whiskey while we had lunch. The trip also included visits to 2 castles and a journey back along the stunning coast road. Our driver Seamus was brilliant and our guide Sharleen was very informative and organised every thing for us as well as adding amusing stories along the way. A great trip, and we also used the hop on hop off bus for 2 days which was an excellent way of getting round the city. The guides are all very helpful and informative. We could also use our tickets to gain discounts at the Titantic museum and the Uno cafe for food. This all made our first visit to Belfast a brilliant experience.
Went to the Giants causeway yesterday on the tour leaving from Belfast outside Irish tours shop. £35 well spent in our opinion it was fab this fee included the rope bridge! Took us to all sorts of places including the whiskey distillery, rope bridge as well as the causeway. We had a fab day all thanks to our guide Sean and driver Stewart. Sean knew everything there was to know and made us laugh throughout the whole tour telling us all the myths and stories. Even stopping at a cute little ice cream shop on the way back which was a nice touch. It’s a long day and we were exhausted after it but definitely worth a trip as it is beautiful a lot of walking to bare in mind. Would give 5*! Very well organised tour 🍀🇮🇪
We went on the tour of the Giant's Causeway on 21st September. It was a brilliant day, well worth the money with lots of stops along the way looking at elements of Irish History. Our tour guide, Frank, was brilliant, very knowledgeable and funny. Something we would definitely do again.
Great value for money. Would definitely recommend as you see so much! Northern Ireland is beautiful 💚. Thanks Shaileen for making the tour more enjoyable with your knowledge and humour. And also thanks to the driver Jim 👍🏻
