Troy was absolutely the best! He had a lot craik. He gave us all so many suggestions on where to eat or places to go. He even helped us book our plans for tomorrow. The tour had amazing views and I got 20,000 steps. Sincerely Kentucky wife # 1.

A crucial part of any trip to Northern Ireland is to see the UNESCO–listed Giant’s Causeway. Visit the camp of Renly Baratheon of Storm’s End. Although it hasn’t been featured in Game of Thrones, the spectacular site is a must see, and you'll have roughly 1.5 hours to explore.
You’ll have time for a quick photo stop at Dunluce Castle, the 17th century ruins that were used as the exterior of the House of Greyjoy on the show.

We had Troy for our guide. He was great. Very knowledgeable on a lot of different history in Ireland. Very fun and loves talking to everyone. Anyone else who gets to go on a tour with Troy will get a great driver, guide, comedian and a great person as well.
I really enjoyed this tour, good long day tour. The tour guide was friendly and funny he was great crack. This was good value for money you get more out of it than most tours. By the end of the tour I was ready to go back home.
The key thing we want other travellers to be AWARE of is that the write up about the tour is outdated … We picked this tour because it had the Giant Causeway and a visit to Bushmills distillery in the description but we drove right by Bushmills … When we asked our driver about it he said tours don’t go there anymore and haven’t for years … Thanks to Dave our tour guide for making the tour enjoyable even though we were disappointed about the Bushmills part … All the sites we did visit were lovely and again our guide was funny, informative and kept everything on track….
This is a good tour. Dave, our driver, was fantastic. What I didn’t like about the tour was the fact that we were taken to two ruined castles and we were not taken to the Bushmills distillery. If people don’t want to go inside Bushmills they don’t have to but one ruined castle is plenty in one day and a visit to Bushmills would have varied the tour more.
Great experience with one amazing and funny tour guide (Stuart), the dad jokes had us in stitches and thsnk you for the GOT references. We visired Carrickfergus Castle, The Dark Hedges (lunch stop with a discount voucher provided) although a picnic was a very good idea, there is also a fabulous coffee shop. Then on to Dunluce Castle, always worth a visit but nothing like it on a sunny day, picturesque with amazing views. We then finished at Giants Causeway and plenty of timd for a walk, refreshments, dinner etc before home to Belfast (arriving back for around 6pm)
Amazing tour and a even better Guide ( Stuart), however we had booked onro the GOT and Giants Causeway tour (the packages need to be updated) however the one we got was absouloutley fantastic (helped by Stuarts amazing knowlege and personality), filled with dad jokes and little tidbits about GOT - like where they filmed a few of the scenes and alot of Irish mythology thrown in. Genuinely Stuart is the best person ever and if we had the chance to do it again with him we'd do it in a heartbeat.
Enjoyable all day trip . Mark was an excellent ,safe driver and tour guide , he was very informative and good humoured (he deserves a tip!) . Even though we drove past it , it was a shame the tour did not include the Bushmills distillery for 25 /30mins . Could have easily shaved 5 mins off each of the other stops to include it. Giants Causeway & The Dark Hedges are definitely worth seeing
The driver and guide were excellent and the sights were just what we wanted. The guide was very informative and kept our interest throughout the trip
Our tour guide Stuart was amazing, so funny, so friendly and so so knowledgeable. He took the time to make the tour magical and memorable and even had us laughing with his easy going nature. Every place we went to was beautiful and there was plenty of time to explore. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. Thank you so much for a great day!
Thoroughly enjoyable trip. Hugh and Catherine were an excellent guide and driver. They were so informative and the craic was great. All the stops were interesting and the scenery between was magnificent. The Giants Causeway did not disappoint.....it just has to be seen.
We had a brilliant tour with Mark our designated driver. He was super knowledgeable and threw in some brilliant humour along the way. Every stop was just the right amount of time to see the sights. Make sure you bring along payment for the castle entry fees. You get it reduced to £4.50 (at the time we went along). You have the opportunity to grab lunch at the Dark Hedges spot but be aware it is pricey at approx £45 for two soft drinks and two dinners. The food was really lovely and the staff here were very friendly. There is a cafe nearby that we noticed on the walk to the dark hedges; a great alternative if you just want a pastry/ sandwich. You can of course bring your own food but be aware you cannot consume your own food in the hotel. Given the time of year we had no rain but the wind was certainly strong. Just be prepared with rain coats and a woolly hat. We saw some sights of where scenes of Game Of Thrones were filmed but realistically this was so much more than GOT. Lots of local knowledge. Lots of local history. A great day out!
This was a great way to see lots of the sites in Northern Ireland in one day. We got historical, natural and Game of Thrones and we’re back I. Belfast in time for dinner.
The tour was amazing! Giants Causeway was breathtaking and Dunluce Castle was an incredible experience as was the Dark Hedges. However don’t be fooled by what is “included/expected” as this tour DOES NOT stop at Carnlough where Arya falls in the water and nor do you go to Bushmills! That was disappointing as I picked this specifically for Bushmills. Tour operator advised they haven’t done this in 4 years! TripAdvisor needs to update.
I never had the experience. I went to the stop to get the bus and there was no bus there so we did not go on this trip.
Troy, our guide, was a hoot - a great tour, and activities! I would definitely recommend it for solo travelers and groups alike.
It was a blast! Highly recommend going. If you have the option ask to go ask for Troy's tour he was a great entertaining host and driver.
Lovely tour! Everything was paced well we had plenty of time at each stop and our tour guide was lovely! I highly recommend!
I had Lisa as the tour guide and our driver decky they were both great hosts and Lisa was very informative. It was a great experience overall and would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Belfast.
We had an amazing time on our Giant’s Causeway/Game of Thrones tour of Northern Ireland! Troy, our guide, was absolutely fantastic! He brought to life the history and charm of the places we toured. It was the perfect way to take in all of the beautiful scenic locations of the Coastal Causeway!
We had an absolutely amazing time our guide Stewart was so informative and funny. The places on the tour was amazing and interesting to see. We would definitely book again!
the bus driver was quite friendly, he makes the trip funnier, otherside, the tour is not good enough, the places are beautiful but the bus didn't stop for photos so… the lunch stop wasn’t good and no options for vegetarian… In description said we’re visiting a whisky distillery but never go.
The tour was a long one but wholesome at the same time. The tour guide Lisa is special, I enjoyed her tour and she literally spoke through out the tour and had a lot of interesting facts and stories about Northern Ireland. The driver Jim is a class man. My wife had not brought her jacket on tour and he offered his jacket to her as we were going the giants causeway.
Our host Andrew was great. All the stops were timely and fun. Loved the Dark Hedges and Giants Causeway of course. Thanks Andrew for making it so fun.
The whole trip was great and lived up to our expectations. The causeway was breathtaking. Our guide was engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining. Would recommend this tour based on our experience.
Stuart was our guide and did a fabulous job giving us both the history of Ireland as well as Game of Thrones. The coastline was beautiful and it was fun to walk through the Dark Hedge and down to the Giant Causeway. Would definitely recommend.
Exceptional tour with a great guide and driver-Karl. Really appreciated the time and effort made by the tour company but especially Karl who was knowledgable and approachable and made the toue such fun.
Loved the Dark hedges and the Giant Causeway. The driver was very informative and funny. He was an excellent driver.
Our guide Stuart was great! Long day, but made enjoyable by the frequent stops so we were not on the bus too long for any given amount of time (until going back to the city after the causeway - which was over an hour away). It is a bit of a hike to each of the main sights, so plan on wearing walking shoes. Causeway was quite a hike down and back, so the shuttle may be worth it coming back up. Bring cash for the shuttle!
Pretty sure I read on the ad that we were able to go across the rope bridge ( which was why I chose to go on this viator tour rather than others) and was disappointed to learn it was off limits to people on tour buses.. Besides, the Dark Hedges was not at all like what the pic shows on your website.. It's almost like false advertising! Glad the tour ended with the Giant's Causeway which was quite a spectacle. Stuart ,our tour guide and driver, was informative and pleasant with us although he did show his impatience/ annoyance at certain drivers throughout the trip which I found not too great and which made me anxious being seated directly behind him on the coach. Not a bad tour on the whole but less exciting than I had anticipated.
Fantastic day trip to the Giant’s Causeway, Dark Hedges and other picturesque sites. Our guide was knowledgeable and made the trip so much fun!
My daughter came over to Northern Ireland with me specifically for the Game of Thrones tour as we are both fans of the series. We both really enjoyed it and although it would have been nice to have a tour purely around the GOT filming sites, we wouldn't have got to see the Giants Causeway if that was the case. Stuart our driver and guide was very entertaining. Just one tip for improvement - I would have liked it if the actual scene from GOT being referred to was shown on the screen in the coach - would have added to the relevance but thoroughly enjoyed the day.
The whole journey was equally enjoyable. Stuart our guide and driver was exceptional and made the tour a true experience of Ireland.
We were bought the tour as a a wedding present and as avid game of thrones fans, we were very excited to go and see more of the filming locations & more of beautiful Ireland. Our tour guide Stuart did not disappoint! He was so knowledgeable and made the tour what it was. He had a great sense of humour and was always on hand to help. We also made friends with two other couples on the tour which was great, and they too felt it was an amazing experience. Can not recommend this tour enough to anyone looking to experience more of beautiful Northern Ireland whilst staying in Belfast.
This is a great way to get out of Belfast to see the Northeast area. The tour went to the dark hedges, giant’s causeway, bushmills, and many other photo stops. The rope bridge was closed, so I think we made a stop at bushmills. Our tour guide was Gavin….If he is your guide you are in for a treat!!! He lively, funny, and a joy to be around. He gets to know everyone and had the whole bus laughing. Kieran the driver is amazing!!! He went around curves I didn’t think was possible in a bus. They both made the experience better and created great memories for us. If you do go on the tour and Gavin is your guide, please tell him, “1,2,&3 say Hello”.
We had a great time on the GoT/Giant’s Causeway Tour. Our guide was really more focused on the history of Northern Ireland as opposed to a GoT focus. He actually admitted that he hadn’t watched GoT. Honestly, that didn’t take away from the tour at all. We actually really enjoyed the history lessons and local legends/tales. The tour was quite well timed. Keep in mind that if you show up on time, then you’re already late. Our favorite part of the tour was Giant’s Causeway.
After a very informal, slightly chaotic start to the day, at Irish Tours Ticket Office, on the morning of the half-Marathon, which meant some road closures and uncertainty about being able to get a taxi. (no warning from the Tour Office when I rang the day before) As we got started, the tour got better, thanks to Troy, our driver, and his excellent driving skills and good chat. The highlight of all the highlights of the day was the guided walk around the Giant's Causeway. The locations were fascinating with some funny and some informative banter from our driver, Troy. There was a stop for an optional cooked lunch that was served quickly and hot, in a slightly dingy pub/restaurant, excellent value for money. My adult son had his first actual Irish Guinness. Disappointing to not have the Game of Thrones expert that was promised and disconcerting to get the receipt from City Sightseeing for £33 less than I had paid Brit Movie Tours for the Game of Thrones and Giant's Causeway tour.
Same as several other people this tour is not advertised correctly. I paid extra because I want the itinerary advertised. We should have spent 90 minutes at the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge instead we were brought to Bushmills which did not do anything for me and was not interested in this part of the tour. I think this kind of false advertising is a really bad show. The bus driver and guide were good but the tour organisers know that they are misleading their potential customers. If the rope bridge is important to you, book with someone else.
Our tour guide Stewart or Sturt 😂 was incredible! He made the long day informative, enjoyable and humorous. What a great way to see Northern Ireland… cannot recommend enough!
I went to this experience twice because i really loved the natural landmarks and Game of Thrones locations but the program is not correct, Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge is not included as it is somehow closed for coaches and accessible only by car. Anyway, the second time we visited 6 places but only 3 of them are in Game of thrones. In general, the landmarks we visited are amazing, especially The Giant's Causeway.
My husband and I enjoyed this day out quite a bit. The locations were nice, and the tour guide did a great job describing the locations, telling stories, and overall keeping the whole group entertained. We would have liked a little more time at a couple of them, but those limits are understandable for a single full day tour. The biggest issue we had was that I had been quite looking forward to the rope bridge section of the tour, but we were not told until we were on the bus and had begun driving that it would not be included. According to the driver's report, the rope bridge was closed at the beginning of the pandemic and hasn't been re-opened since, which was well before we bought tickets let alone went on the tour, so shouldn't have been listed as included.
A great overview of some of NI’s famous scenery, enjoyable whether or not you’ve watched Game of Thrones.
This trip was the highlight of our visit to Belfast, the guide Stuart was absolutely amazing. As we made our way across Northern Ireland he gave us really interesting information about the sights around us. He told us funny stories about the area and even had props for us to use at the game of thrones lunch stop and photo op. Beautiful coastal drive on the way home - even though we are only here for a short time we feel like we have seen so much. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Thank you Stuart!
Brilliant to see the real Ireland in all its natural beauty. Such an interesting tour, stops were well timed and all of interest. What truly made the trip was our wonderful driver/guide who really brought things to life with his knowledge and wit. What an asset!
The tour took in lots of interesting sights and enabled us to see the lovely coast of C.Antrim. The whole area is beautiful and very quiet. Stuart the driver was excellent. Great way to combine some GoT sights with the Giant’s Causeway.
Amazing trip with stunning views and sights. Very well organised and the driver Stuart kept everyone well informed and entertained!
Fantastic tour- extremely informative. Would highly recommend. Stuart was a great tour guide and gave you information all throughout the tour. We were never bored!
Had an excellent day on the Game of Thrones coach tour along the Antrim coast. The Coach driver Derek was on top form with his enthusiastic dad jokes. He delivered multiple tales, some made up for entertainment purposes, but also shared an educational history of Northern Ireland’s turbulent past, which was very interesting. An energetic Storyteller who managed to keep all the passengers entertained for the duration of the trip, he ensured there was never a dull moment. A mix of humour and history as well as a descriptive Game of Thrones commentary, fantastic day trip! 🚌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The tour packed a lot into a day. So many sights and locations along the Antrim Coast. Very knowledgeable and friendly guide. A memorable day out. Ideal for fans and anyone who hasn't seen Game of Thrones. Whatever the weather take the trip. We had all different kinds of rain that day, but it added to the atmosphere.
Stephen the tour guide and driver was an absolutely amazing guy,he looked after us,explained everythibg, kept us entertained, amazing job and tour! The only sad thing is due to covid 19 we didnt walk on the bridge but everything else was amazing!
