Our guide, Paul, was amazing. Super knowledgeable, passionate about Irish history, and brought his own experiences into the tour when it made sense. We had a great time and learned a lot.

Mal did a great job of providing context and personal perspective on our tour of Belfast. The tour itself was informative - but really dark. Because the Troubles were a difficult time to live through, it was a stark reminder of that time in Belfast and what really happened. We'd recommend the tour - but be ready for some somewhat harsh truth!
Great couple of hours out with a very knowledgeable driver. A must do for anyone visiting Belfast and wanting to understand about the Troubles and how it continues to impact Belfast today.
Amazing Tour in a Black Taxi taking you around the areas and providing commentary and context to the different sights. Slightly surreal in a way but if in Belfast a Must Do activity!
Danny H was excellent! A good tour is 10% content and 90% character of the tour guide. This tour is very authentic. The stories were gripping. 🙏
Booked a tour for 5 adults today (4.12.21). Greeted by a lovely man called Sean (unsure if this is the correct spelling). Sean was so knowledgeable and a pleasure to be in his company for 90 mins. There was plenty of stops on the way to get out and take pictures. I can honestly say this is a must when visiting Belfast for the first time. I would recommend this company if you are looking for an excellent tour.
I really recommend the political tour. It was brilliant and very interesting. Our tour guide Davy was very informative and answered any questions that we had for him. Davy gave us his personal experience of living through the troubles. He was not biased and spoke about the two sides during that time. Learnt so much. A must do when visiting Belfast!!
Stevie was a gentleman, he explained everything so well and made us feel very welcome in Belfast. He gave great insight to what happened in the past here in Northern Ireland. 10/10 David.
we went o the black cab tour on the 21/01/18 ,Joel our cab driver was great and very informative about the history of the troubles and brilliant tour guide definately go back to Belfast.MS
My driver was a very nice guy, a taxi driver by trade, a Protestant in his fifties who'd seen his share of action. Very knowledgeable, and convincingly explaining the conflict as a deeply political one, albeit with sectarian overtones. His analyses and descriptions were so balanced that I know his religion only because at the tour's end I asked him. The tour started in the Shankill Road area, then moved to the wall and the Falls Rd, and concluded (at my request) with the main Protestant and Catholic cemeteries - very instructive. If you know Irish history, it's 50 quid very well spent.
Did not think to do this tour during our visit but it was recommended by our hotel the Grand Central and so glad we did. Our driver was so knowledgeable and impartial which gave us a great understanding of the troubles past and present, showing us the morals and explaining in great detail the whys and where’s. We actually felt a bit ignorant to the present situation as do not hear much in the mainstream news in England anymore so was not aware the wall was still up and the gates still operated. The driver was so good we gave £60 instead of £40.
Mick was an incredible guide very knowledgeable took time to explain everything in detail and is a fantastic person. Thanks Mick
We visited on New Year’s Eve and were picked up at the Europa Hotel. Visited all the areas where most of the incidents happened and our tour guide/taxi driver was very informative. Recommend highly.
We got picked up from our hotel right on time by our driver/ tour guide Jr. He gave us a brief history about Norther Ireland before we set off. He told us all the history at every stop, the geography of Belfast city and different stories from each side. Jr answered all the questions we asked and a little fun was had! Overall the tour was very informative and I would definitely recommend to a friend
Brilliant tour worth every penny Danny our driver was superb gave us loads of impartial information on tour didn’t rush us at all very friendly and patient answered all our questions with loads of interesting answers and humour made the tour fun as well as interesting would do the tour again with family next time Danny recommended going to the horror night at Crumlin gaol which we are doing tomorrow night thanks again Danny for a great tour
This tour is a wonderful way to learn about the tours as you get a view from both sides and a full explanation of when, and why. Guides/drivers are very open to questions to help you understand
