Was a great way to learn history of Belfast. Well worth doing. Kylie was fantastic, very knowledgeable, pleasant, would definitely recommend her as a guide

I never received the email with a voucher and City Sightseeing said they had no record of my booking. Someone somewhere f’d up and I’m out the $
Worth the money, bought two day tickets. Able to see "the sights", able hop off and on at stops we wanted. Check time of last bus back to city centre as it is not 4 pm as noted on website, depends on where you want to board the bus.
The best way to see Belfast and get your bearings. Don was our driver and he was amazing. So full of knowledge, more than other drivers we have had in the past. Recommend this tour to anyone going for a first visit. We used it all day getting on and off. Then selected places we wanted to see for the next day. Two day tickets are great value. All the staff are helpful and chatty.
Booked for use 2 days & easy to use. Only issue is less time over winter moths. So lost time but same costs. This should have been disconnected
Our driver Vic was very informative and gave us a taste of what it was like to live through the troubles. He was passionate and also quite witty on occasion. We learnt a lot and would recommend it. There were plenty of stops of interest...Ulster museum itself is worth a visit, but we didn't have time to do everything we wanted, although we used the 2 day offer.
Very interesting tour around Belfast with Catherine. She was clear and informative and we learnt lots of things. Thank you
Katherine, our first bus guide, was sensational! Right mix of informative and funny, blended with her own experience. The other guides were very good too. The bus tour itself has plenty of options for all ages. Well worth the money. Highly recommend!
Great experience, we had "Paul" as our driver and he was great, funny, informative an all round great guy. The tours an excellent way to get an insight into the history of the city. Some very sad tales of the troubles. If you're in Belfast get booked!
Very informative. The bus took us from City Hall to Victoria Square providing key information and it lasted 1 hour and a half. It cost 20 pounds each for an adult. And the bus was very nice! Would 100% recommend!
Excellent trip. Don was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable and informative. Don was a Scot but gave a detailed description of the area as we went along in a non biased manner.
Brian our guide today on the bus tour around Belfast was fabulous. Funny, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. Great value
Excellent story teller onboard. Best bang for my buck. Would do it again. Providing history, comedy and personal experience makes it enjoyable
Fantastic value for money. We bought the two day ticket which enabled us to see the many sites around the city without spending a fortune on taxis. The commentary was very good with lots of banter. My only regret is that it no longer stops at Stormont.
Had a great experience if you managed to get Paul as a tour guide he’s brilliant and tells you a lot of extra things that the audio doesn’t
We had already done the Black Cab Taxi tour so we saw a major portion of the tour.
Good value for money and informative particularly about the troubles. Would recommend.when visiting Belfast.
We had a lovely trip with Catherine who was very knowledgeable and emotional about Belfast’s troubled past so glad we were on her bus seeing all the sites. Later we decided to go around again but with a different driver and he didn’t really say much compared to Cathrine but it was still a nice trip and he was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this company it’s a little more expensive but worth the extra couple of pounds.
Catherine our tour guide was brilliant - I definitely know more now I’ve done the trip than before. So really interesting and informative.
Booked a two day ticket partly as it was a better deal than the one day and were not disappointed -- our guide/driver Don on one of the trips was very informative about restaurants and pubs and quite amusing as well. We used the Hop on-off to view the murals about the troubles - just got off and walked through the neighbourhoods and then hopped back on the next bus - a lot cheaper than the Black Cab tour!. The route covers all the highlights of Belfast and well worth the reasonable cost of a ticket.
A really enjoyable experience made even better by our driver HUGH. He was extremely knowledgeable and very funny when the journey permitted.
Great tour, we had two drivers as we hopped off for titanic. Both were super friendly and informative. Don dealt with a lot of heavy history with great sensitivity. Well worth doing. Stopping at peace wall was very meaningful. Huge thanks , great trip and highly recommended for all the family.
We booked a Non hop on off tour from the Cruise Terminal to the giants causeway with a tour of Belfast City. We were only notified 2 days beforehand that not enough people had booked to make the tour viable. The refund was supposed to take 3-5 days but I chased the refund and did eventually receive it 3 weeks later but would have been £60 out of pocket if I had not checked and chased it up. Complete waste of time and too little notice to arrange something else on our port day.
Bus is clean and comfortable. The bus driver/guide gave us the history of the areas surrounding the city. Great tour on a reasonable price..
Love that it’s “live” guides! They were so informative, really felt I got my money’s worth! Sit upstairs and outside so you can get the best pictures.
Good over view of city. A live guide was nice. Did not get off anywhere. Titanic experience was popular.
Fantastic trip ear plugs not required . Sound through speaker from driver narrating The tour is approximately 90minutes round trip so 2 day is ideal to stay on first day to get your bearings then hop on and off second day
We purchased the 48hr pass. We did the tour twice and learnt a few different things each time. Very informative and humourous at times.
Joined the bus near the City Hall, good clear commentary explaining all the history of Belfast. Covered a lot of what makes Belfast tick, from building the Titanic to all the varied murals and their significance. Trip was about 90 mins in total. Good overview.
Some stops are optional. You may need to flag them down. Other than that, drivers were fabulous. So much information with a heavy dose of humor. Thoroughly enjoyed
Great! Stops in the major spots and the guides are really good and funny. Some of the buses have the recordings in different languages and some have a guide speaking, without other languages. Unfortunately, there isn’t a Portuguese recording. The buses are half an hour apart, which isn’t bad.
A must do in Belfast City. We picked up the tour near the Titanic Experience. The tour was excellent. It took us through the city with a commentary of places of significance. This included historic buildings along with the Crumlin Road Gaol, the housing areas central to the troubles, amazing graffiti messages and the peace walls which segregated the areas of unrest. The people of Belfast are warm, friendly and welcoming. This city is fascinating, not too large. The ticket lasts 48 hours and we paid £18 senior rate. Highly recommended.
Don, wow! What a tour that was thanks to him! We sat in the rooftop at the back we could hear everything he said which was good. The knowledge and laughs he gave us was second to none. I was with my mum, we did a mum & daughter trip, we are from Liverpool. We have had the best day thanks to Don and will definitely recommending Dons tours to any friends and family who head over to Belfast. Don you’ve had the experience even better for us thank you
The wait was over 45 mins and when got there always full. Ended up using taxi. They only had like two busses running
We bought City Sightseeing tickets to discover more about Belfast and to take advantage of the slight discount on the Titanic Museum entrance tickets. Due to a glitch on the website, we couldn't book tickets online so had to show up at the meeting place to get them. This was a painless process and we found the us easily. Unfortunately, the first bus had sound issues and we couldn't hear a word the guide was saying, even after he tried to adjust the microphone. The sound was fine on the other buses, though. We had a lovely and informative tour of Belfast but felt the 10am-4pm operating hours could be extended by at least an hour either way.
Had a great tour of Belfast, first time visitor.Don the driver was fabulous, his stop at the peace wall was very moving, gave a good insight of "the troubles " of living in Belfast at that time and of course now. definitely recommend
The Giants Causeway and coastal route tour was very good Stuart out driver/guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. The food at the hedges hotel was a bit mediocre in summer I would reccoment taking a pack up to eat outside.
Overall enjoyable experience!! Loved the mix of local knowledge, history, and humor on the tour. A great value with all the stops. A few odd things happened - 1st bus we hopped on had tour in German only, didn't explain when we spoke in English showing the ticket. Special arrangement for a crusie ship docked to have some German language buses. We hopped off! Also the last stop by Maritime mile was difficult to hop back on - different buses didn't stop at same spot and we went running several times to catch a bus. The rest of the time went smoothly - went the full loop, plus redo on the first parts to hear them in English. Would do again for sure, even with the unexpected moments!
This was a good experience. The drivers of the buses gave their own commentary with twists which was entertaining yet factual. The only downside, and it is NOT the bus tour's fault, is that Viator owe me a refund and despite several emails and assurances that it would be paid, I am still waiting. This has nothing to do with the actual bus tour.
Nothing else needed to enhance the trip all good and very good value for the price good clean buses x
First bus we were on we sat at the top outside & couldnt hear a word from the guide. There were ports to plug in headphones but no available headphones & who nowadays uses plug in headphones even if i did have my own with me?? We were told the times the buses came back to Titanic but were waiting over 40 mins for a bus, when they should be every 30 mins. We stayed downstairs on that one & could hesr the guide better. Third bus we sat upstairs but just behind the covered bit & could hear tge guide. The seats on this bus were all ripped and looked a mess. If this had just been a standard bus i'd have not expected much, but when paying what we did for a tour I'd have expected a bus that looked presentable, and the ability to hear the tour guides wherever I sat. The guides we spoke to were very friendly - lots of banter - can't fault them.
Mike was brilliant - how he handled a bus around traffic while all the time giving a great commentary of what we’re seeing is beyond me! Found it absolutely fascinating and the passion Mike had for his city was evident - loved the family connections to the shipyard he was able to tell us about too. Got some great tips for the rest of my time in Belfast.
Great live guides. Good route. Would be great to see two route options to get beyond just a handful of more famous stops.
Main pick up point outside old town hall very central good community drop offs at all of the main attractions
Not worth the price - the best things about this tour were that it had a very accessible pick up location and the driver was very friendly. But that’s about it. I went to the top and rode the entire route there with a rather full bus. I’ve ridden several hop on and off tours before and have liked them all. But during this tour, we were not given separate headphones/earbuds and had to listen to what the operator was saying through the bus speakers. We could barely hear what was being said because we were outside and the engine was very loud. Once the tour was over, I stood up to find that my clothes were wet due to the seats. Overall, definitely not worth the price.
Fantastic tour from Don. Very welcoming, very charming and managed to make what could have been a very sombre and depressing tour full of laughter and information. Absolutely worth your time and money, one of a kind experience!
Fairly reasonable tour. Light in detail, more of which would have been useful to a first time visitor. The focus was on Titanic Quarter, city centre and a drive through the main interface areas of west Belfast. This last area is portrayed as the main attraction - while it is undoubtedly part of our country’s story, there is so much more to the city. I’d have liked more of a focus on the shipbuilding and aircraft industry, a drive past both main Cathedrals with some information about their history and the artwork within by renowned local artists. Mention of CS Lewis, Van Morrison and George Best, Ulster Hall and Rory Gallagher not made nor was mention of our Nobel prize winning late poet Seamus Heaney who lectured in Queen’s University Belfast. We live here and strove to see the tour through the eyes of a cruise line visitor (as frequent cruisers we often do a HOHO tour in cities we stop in)The commentary sometimes was out of sync a little with the location.
Scotish Don from city tours Belfast was an amazing guide He had outstanding knowledge of the history of Belfast coming from Banbridge we learnt some new things from him. He made us very comfort and he is a very witty man, very easy going. We had a lovely day on the tour.
Worth booking in advance. Always use this company. It was a great trip. Bus drivers very knowledgeable .
We always like to do the Hop on Hop off bus when we travel. A great, safe way to see the highlights of the city. Plenty of opportunities to get off the bus and see some attractions Catherine provided excellent narration and personal perspectives along the way
