The tour was very interesting, but also heartbreaking. So much violence! I did know about the troubles to some extent but seeing the memorials was very moving.

Excellent informative tour from someone who lived through the Troubles. Our guide was totally impartial and answered any questions we raised. Highly recommended if you are in Belfast.

The tour was great from start to finish, me and my friend are very interested in Irish history so we knew we would enjoy this however it exceeded all expectations. Tony our tour guide was great he was funny gave us lots of information and answered any questions we had. The experience as a whole was 10/10 if your ever thinking of booking this whilst in Belfast you won’t be sorry, and if you get Tony as your tour guide the experience will be even better!

It is a brilliant tour which gives a very informative history of the troubles. You get to view the various murals and have an opportunity to get your photo taken at them, and you also get to sign the Peace Wall. It brings you down the Falls Road and Shankill Road. Tony was our tour guide and he was excellent, he gave a very detailed description of everything that happened during the troubles and he made it very interesting. I would highly recommend doing a Black Taxi tour when in Belfast, and would highly recommend Tony as Tour Guide.

The black taxi tour of Belfast was excellent. Colm our guide was so informative and we learnt so much of the history of this city. I would high recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the troubles.

I booked this trip due to bad weather on the day and not being able to do the walking tour - it is an hour driving along places and stopping three times. Although the explanation was good and clear to me and my daughter - I was disappointed in the overall experience especially for the price we paid .... there was no personal info at all which you read from other feedback - i believe it is very much linked to the person who is driving you and it is now clear to me this is not the Black Cab tour which everyone refers to.

Wow, I knew this tour would be great based on other reviews but it exceeded my already high expectations. My guide Tony was excellent he provided so much information in the hour & had a great sense of humour. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Belfast.

A real insight into the complex history of Belfast through the troubles.

This tour was fabulous ! So informative from an unbiased view. Gerrard our tour guide had lived through the troubles and gave first hand experience and was a font of information as well as being so friendly and open to us asking questions. A lovely character who was very personable . Plenty of time to stop at major points for photographs . His taxi was immaculate .

Our guide Jackie provided us with a wealth of information regarding the Troubles. Even though he lived through the experience, he was very neutral in his presentation of the facts. He went above and beyond for us to take pictures at key locations - we even signed the Peace wall! I loved his optimism in terms of both sides coming together as one people.

Best decision we made on our trip to Belfast was to book this tour. Couldn't have asked for a better guide than Tony. Really insightful experience. We were late arriving at the meeting point due to protest marches in Belfast. Despite having prepaid the tour, the cab driver chose to leave (apparently) just as we arrived. WE WERE NOT A 'NO SHOW' that he reported. We had already paid for this tour & the driver's time, so the expectation was that we'd have a shortened tour. NOT NO TOUR AT ALL. Now they have refused to provide a partial refund for majority of the tour that the driver made himself unavailable.

Driver Colin was fantastic. Didn’t let the rain spoil the tour at all. He was knowledgeably and open and honest about what he thought of the troubles. Even dropped us off at the pub at the end.

Fantastic tour with Colin. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the murals we visited, providing personal anecdotes from his life in Belfast. It was very eye-opening to learn about the Troubles and the conflicts that still exist to this day.

After wanting to learn more about the Troubles, we decided to book a private tour of the peace walls and murals. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide than Tony, and we had an amazing and reflective experience that will stay with us for a long time to come.

Terrible experience. My partner got sick on the ferry so I needed to cancel and did so with 22 hours notice (due to weak cell signal). I was given $0 refund. I called to ask for an accommodation and was told to email, which I have twice. No response whatsoever. Huge money grab - avoid and go with a different provider.

This tour takes in a good bit of the northern Ireland troubles but if your politics are not totally socialist you may not want to take it.
