A fantastic afternoon from start to finish. Gary, our guide was amazing, funny and very informative about the places we visited and the history of Ireland and its people with lots of humour. He should be on the stage. He certainly made our day a memorable one. Giants of causeway was breathtaking. Would highly recommend this trip and it was certainly worth every penny, which I thought was a very good price.

Itinerary
Reach the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most remarkable natural wonders in the world.
On the way back to Belfast we'll pass by the iconic tree lined road known as Dark Hedges - made world famous by Game of Thrones. This ancient road has recently been closed to public traffic but we'll pass on an adjacent road which offers some cool views.
Enjoy views over Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Rathlin Island, Sheep Island and the Scottish coast from the viewing point at Portaneevy. We won't be crossing the bridge as it is now a conservation site and closed to groups - but you'll experience the best views and get the opportunity to take awesome photos!

I booked and paid for the tour but on arrival was told by the driver there was no room on the coach. At least a refund was made on request but I don't understand why money would be taken if there was no availability.
Our driver today was Rory, he was informative and his patter was funny, kept us informed the whole trip , would recommend for sure
Rory was brilliant , very funny and informative highly recommended
Lovely afternoon. Very helpful and knowledgeable driver.
Gary was an absolute treasure of a guide. He was engaging, funny, and an excellent storyteller. He really made our trip to Giant’s Causeway memorable!
Wonderful commentary - learned a lot. Amazing rock formation; it's almost possible to believe that it isn't man-made (or Giant-made !).
A great trip to the Giant’s Causeway during a storm! Credit to the driver who drove us there and who kept us entertained with his jokes, knowledge of various interesting places and fact.
Lovely guide and well knowledged, comfy coach. Absolutely fantastic 👏. I would highly recommend 👌 .
Driver was great. Highly recommend to anyone. Great views there and back. Good history provided as well
The trip was amazing, even tho we went around a very rainy and windy day. Gary was amazing and he was the best tour guide I’ve seen in years. The way he explained and told us stories about the trip, Irish history and everything with a lil humor, he deserves a raise for sure! Highly recommended!
Great tour - not too much on and off the bus as the day tour. Guide was very entertaining and informative
We have had a half day tour and it was absolutely spectacular, the scenery is stunning! Our driver was Rory and his side kick, Evelyn, Rory was knowledgeable and engaging and is a credit to the company. Rory kept us entertained and gave us some great tips about where to eat/drink. I totally recommend this company and the very helpful and enthusiastic Rory and Evelyn
Well worth a visit. We were lucky and had a sunny day with a steady breeze that made the waves roll in and the view even more spectacular. Our coach driver and guide was very knowledgeable and entertained us all throughout the trip.
This is awesome as an experience. The Giant's Causeway is breathtaking. You also get to see, on a clear day, Scotland just 10 miles away and the king's hedges from Game of Thrones.
A good excursion with a fun and friendly driver. Would recommend.
Wonderful guide/driver. Lots of history on the way and beautiful views. We had an amazing time. It’s a hike to the Giant’s Causeway and back up! Just a warning, but totally worth it!
The ride was beautiful and the driver was funny and informative. All the stops were magnificent ! It was an afternoon well spent!
Great way to travel, picked up at The Europa Hotel. We were staying across the road so dead handy, great coach, very comfy, enjoyed seeing the rope bridge, The Giants Causeway, bucket list ✅ and the Dark Hedges. I really objected to the guide - Gary’s historical knowledge and how he kept saying FACT after everything, he got the 1916 FACT wrong about soldiers coming about from Cork? FACT about the Potato Famine completely wrong, and his opinion on the Catholic Church abhorrent!!!! Can I suggest you retrain Gary on the fact instead of him freewheeling his Irish History!
Enjoyable trip. Journey quite long for the amount time spent there. But it was impressive site. Pub was lovely to. Driver was funny
We had an excellent day out visiting the Giant’s Causeway with Paddywagon Tours! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the whole trip was made even better by our driver, Gary. He was great craic, really informative and kept us laughing throughout the day! Everything was well organised, there was plenty to see, and we had such a good laugh along the way. Gary really made the trip special with his knowledge, humour and great personality. Would highly recommend Paddywagon Tours, and if you get Gary as your driver, you’re in for a brilliant day! ⭐️

We would highly recommend this afternoon guided trip to Giant’s Causeway from Belfast operated by Paddywaggon Tours. Our guide Gary kept us all well informed throughout, his humour, knowledge and storytelling kept us entertained during the trip from start to end. The whole trip ran smoothly and on time. Anyone who wants a taste of the Giant’s Causeway, this hassle free afternoon tour is a must. If you are visiting Belfast and short on time this trip is perfect. The Giant’s Causeway is impressive, in October with the crowds calming down we managed to wonder around the unique National Trust site without being overwhelmed. Overall this trip was good value for money and this guided tour makes sightseeing stress free.
Excellent trip to giants causeway with great commentary from the driver. Learnt a lot about history of Northern Ireland.
Very nice! We enjoy the ride, the site as well as the guide who was very interesting and funny.
Very enjoyable, great value for money. Our driver (Gary) was knowledgeable and informative and added in a nice bit of humour as well. The trip to the Giant’s Causeway was well worth it and also enjoyed the quick stop and photo opportunity at Carrick-a-Rede. Fortunately the weather was kind whilst we were down at the stones so it was a lovely, memorable experience. Highly recommend this tour.
What a wonderful if very wet day , though it didn’t dampen our spirits ! Gary was amazing informative and funny, history info and music great too. The tour was a great afternoon out. We would definitely visit again and use your company.
Unfortunately it was rainy and windy the day we went to Giants Causeway. So our sights were hampered by the wind and rain. We did walk down to see the coast line. Our driver pointed out several points of interest while driving to and from Giants Causeway.
I would highly recommend this tour. The Giants Causeway is stunning. Also, Gary, our driver and guide was excellent - very informative but also funny
Excellent trip with friends and very interesting and informative. Also the driver was very funny highly recommend
Well worth the visit Braved the 30 mile an hour wind and rain Driver kept us entertained on the journey
Our time was tight so couldn’t do a full day. Any concerns we had that the 1/2 day tour were completely dispelled. An excellent 5 hours, our driver/guide - Gary of Paddywagon Tours - was excellent, very knowledgeable about what we saw and wider Irish history and folklore, great music taste too. Would 100% recommend.
Great trip especially for the afternoon. Coach easy to get too, driver friendly pointing out stops along the way. Time for pictures, definitely didn’t need any longer than an hour and half at the stones
The Giant's Causeway was absolutely impressive and it was a lovely afternoon tour. Very funny and interesting! Michael was our guide yesterday and we really enjoyed all of his explanations and laughed a lot with him. I would 100% recommend!
Garry our guide was delightful, knowledgeable and quick witted. Everything was smooth from beginning to end.
Highly recommend. The perfect thing to do when you want to see the stones but already have a full itinerary or a short time in Belfast and you want to get this in. Rory was fantastic. Great fun, shap wit. Great guy.
Rory was a legend, super knowledgeable and had great recommendations and was hilarious. Definitely worth your time!
Found the tour very average. The tour operator Paddywagon tours gave no real commentary or very much information. It felt like just sitting on a bus. The giants causeway was good but the facilities there are very poor. You can’t get into the visitors centre to use the toilet or shop unless you pay to go on a tour. The only facilities are at the hotel there which is very limited. There are no shops to be water etc and the only gift shop is in the visitor centre.
It was a really enjoyable day out to see the giants causeway, the coach was efficient and driver Gary was great company. We didn't expect to learn as much as we did on the trip here or to see so many other tourist destinations. From Ireland history to folklore tails it was very engaging. Would definitely recommend to others, particularly those new to Ireland in general or at the start of their Belfast visit who want to get a overview of other potential interesting spots to explore after the journey.
Gary, our driver and tour guide was fantastic. There drive was very comfortable and he kept us well informed and entertained all the way. The tour was just the right length and we had a great time!
Good value exactly what I wanted. Only wanted the afternoon out for personal reasons. Driver was a great driver on which showed on some of those roads he was informative, had a great sense of humour and looked after his visitors
Excellent trip and very knowledgeable driver
A 5 hr experience, we were with Shane, who was very chatty and informative and humourous. We had a great day but felt we could have done with 2 hrs at the Giant Causeway, it felt slightly rushed but other than that we had a fabulous day. On the way back, Shane treated us to some more folklore stories and evening some singing. Would definitely recommend
It was a great excursion - lots of walking (although there is a bus to use. Our driver Michael was awesome - he certainly kept us entertained
Our guide and driver Garry was humorous, knowledgeable and made the trip so much fun. We learned a little more about Ireland than we did before. The bus ride was comfortable with beautiful sceneries and we especially like that this is a half day tour which worked with our schedule.
The driver was a good narrator too! He pointed out places of interest. The bus was clean and comfortable. We all went our separate ways at the Giant’s Causeway and everyone appeared to have enjoyed the outing.
Giant's Causeway is a must excursion!! Our tour guide Michael was exceptional! He was knowledgeable, funny & very professional. I highly recommend it! Michael left us with some fabulous memories.
Our guide was engaging and full of great information! The causeway was beautiful and worth seeing. The time allotted to spent at the causeway was definitely rushed. Still worth seeing!
Excellent tour.Roy our guide was informative and funny. The coach was clean and tidy and they give you plenty of time at the causeway.
Wonderful tour of the giants causeway and our guide,Garry, was incredible. Garry gave us a truly comprehensive history of Ireland and its culture and he was hysterical. Highly recommend this tour.
