Canal Court Hotel

Outstanding hotel! Simply for the effort and minor details that is put into things and the affordability! The Staff are so friendly and the hotel itself is beautiful. Lovely for a wee getaway! We celebrated our anniversary and got the Superior suite and oh my goodness what a delight. I would return for the Jacuzzi bath alone! Everything was well thought through, the decor was beautiful, minimal noise as the windows are soundproofed great! The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was great! The suites have chocolates and processo sitting as you arrive, huge smart tv in the living area and another in the bedroom, fireplace and electric fire in the living area, Just amazing! And for a fraction of the price for a similar room in Belfast or elsewhere. Very affordable. They really do go out of their way to make it special and every detail is thought of. Speciality coffee machine and pods in the room, lovely Peter Costello showergels and shampoos. Already planning our trip back!

Nice hotel centrally placed in Newry town centre. A great base for visiting surrounding areas such as the Mourne Mountains. The rooms are nice and spacious, although they don’t all have aircon, as we discovered, but once we got moved to a room with aircon it was nice and easy to regulate the temperature as we wanted it.

Fantastic hotel with exceptional staff. I was staying with a woman who has learning disabilities, and every member of the team was incredibly kind, patient and supportive. From reception and spa staff to the kitchen team and even maintenance staff, everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The level of care and professionalism shown throughout our stay was outstanding. Thank you all for making our visit such a positive and memorable experience. We look forward to returning.

What a fabulous hotel. We so enjoyed our stay there. The hotel was buzzing. Choir singers,rugby coverage and football. Went to Queen tribute at night which was fantastic. Staff were so helpful and kind. Big shout out to Tiernan,such a pleasant waiter,helpful and great fun.
