We stayed for two nights in Maggie’s Room at Ashebrook House and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, friendly, and genuinely made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was getting to feed the horses and alpacas, and even help move them into the stables at night. It was such a memorable and special part of the stay. The breakfast was outstanding, especially the soda bread, which was honestly the best we have ever had. Just as enjoyable were the conversations with the hosts, who were warm, funny, and a real pleasure to spend time with. Forget the generic hotel experience. John and Julia could not do enough for us when we stayed in autumn 2024. Loved the easy accessible location the beautiful well appointed room and the delicious breakfast while discussing our days activities with our hosts. A great place to stay to access lots of beautiful places. Highly recommend to everyone.
