Gorgeous temple to visit set inside a lovely, peaceful park to walk around and explore as well. Booking this experience means that all tickets to the three different sections of the site are sorted for you. I had done a few guided tours in other attractions and worried this wouldnt be as good solo, however thanks to the guidance from Miss Li over WhatsApp I had a really clear plan of how to get in, what to see, and how to get around. It was a really wonderful experience despite the rain.

Booked through Viator and Li sent tickets on WhatsApp and instructions via email the day before our visit. We had booked an 8am slot but were not able to attend until 1pm which was no problem. Li was able to help us and had great communication throughout. Highly recommend. As for the temple of heaven , admission was well priced and was free for our 1 year old. We spent about 3 hours between the temple , wall of echoes and circular mound. A must visit in Beijing Crowds were busy as we visited on a Saturday at 1pm but that is to be expected. Atmosphere otherwise was very chill and there is some lovely tree lined walks amongst the Cyprus trees

The Temple of Heaven was hands down one of my favorite stops in Beijing. Standing right in front of the blue-tiled Hall of Prayer is incredible - pictures really don't do the scale justice. Walking along the Danbi Bridge and seeing how the grand architecture was built to connect Earth to the heavens makes the history feel completely alive.
