The driver reached out the day before to confirm our departure time and share useful reminders — such a nice touch. We took the cable car round-trip at Mutianyu to conserve energy. The Beijing dumplings we tried at lunch were fantastic. The ride was smooth with a pleasant temperature, and we caught up on sleep heading to the Summer Palace. The Great Wall is very exposed under the sun, so half a day is sufficient. The Summer Palace is cooler and offers boat trips. Fully recommended!

It snowed in Beijing, so we made an impromptu change to our itinerary and went to the Forbidden City to admire the snow scene. Jason said that snowfall in Beijing is not very frequent and quite a rare occasion. As the Chinese saying goes, "A timely snow promises a good harvest," which signifies good luck.

Due to flight issues, we didn’t have time to visit the Palace Museum. So Jason took us to Jingshan Park—the geographic center of Beijing—where we could enjoy a panoramic view of the Palace Museum. It was absolutely fantastic! Thank you, Jason!

A huge thank you to Jason for taking us to experience a typical Beijing breakfast—including doufunao (soft tofu pudding), youbing (fried dough cakes), and chayedan (tea eggs)! This gave us a much better understanding of the local people’s diet, which is completely different from the buffet breakfast we had at the hotel.​ Jason’s driving skills are smooth and very safe. On our way back from the Great Wall, we got to rest really well in the car. I definitely recommend him!

My family and I not only went to the Great Wall but also the Summer Palace. We left at 6 a.m., and we had plenty of time. The driver was very patient and told us the entrance and the nearest exit so we didn’t take the same route twice—it was great.

My friend and I took the free time during our layover to climb the Great Wall. We were lucky to follow the driver’s suggestion and took the cable car round trip—even so, it was quite tiring. I really admire those who didn’t take the cable car; they’re warriors. After the Great Wall, we still had time, so the driver took us to the Olympic Park. The driver told us that Watchtowers 14 to 20 of the Great Wall are quite steep, but the scenery is magnificent. We insisted on climbing up, and my parents were even more amazing—like warriors, it was incredible! The driver's service was excellent.
