Booked through Trip Advisor and wasn’t disappointed. The driver was there waiting for me on arrival and took me straight to my hotel. I had been a bit worried about organising Alipay and DiDi and making sure everything was going to work, so this was an easy option to book from Australia. The driver and I chatted away on our respective translation apps (I used Optus roaming to access Google translate). Expensive compared to taking the metro but a very good option if you just want a nice, hassle-free trip to your hotel. Heidi was in touch to clarify a few things via WhatsApp. All very easy. Highly recommended.

Excellent driver. Was waiting for us with a very clear sign exactly where we were told they would be. Car was exceptionally clean and able to fit our luggage. He stopped at airport and took some photos for us and when we reached our hotel came in to explain who we were Very happy with the service

Communication with car operator Trippest was. great before, during and after pick up. Driver communicated with us after arrival describing location for pick up after immigration and customs. He was waiting for us with our name on a sign. He was very courteous and a good driver. Process was seamless. Highly recommend and a good value.

There is nothing like getting off a plane in a foreign city and being met by someone holding a sign (especially when you don't speak the language!) with your name. This was exactly what happened during this airport pick up and transfer to the hotel. Everything went great.

Driver was on time and waiting with sign at the airport arrival hallway. What a relief to not have to deal with the language barrier and scrupulous taxi drivers after a long international flight. The car was clean and luxurious, free WiFi and bottled water. Only draw back was driver made a fuss because I wanted to grab a sandwich to go before leaving the airport. They are paid to wait up to 2 hrs for the flight to arrive and he made a stink over 15-20 minute wait for me to get my food order. He even called into the office and I had to explain what I was doing. They misinterpreted what I was saying when relating to the driver. In the end, I arrived safely to my hotel and with food so that I did not have to venture back out at night to find a decent place to eat. I would do private car again and again from Beijing airport even with this minor issue.

We were happy to see driver waiting for us when we exited customs at Beijing airport. We had expected to have to wait because we were early, but he was there waiting for us. He was a good driver and found our hotel with no problem. It was a 2 hour ride due to heavy traffic and he navigated well. I would gladly use the service again!

We booked both our PEK-Hotel and Hotel-PEK through this company. In both instance the experience very identifcal. Driver was visible upon arrival / hotel lobby holding your name on a board (hard to miss). Vehicle was clean and well maintained. Driver was helpful w/lugguage and accomodating. Would recommend this company for ease of transaction and value for money.

In general, this worked as advertised. The driver was not there when I came out of customs, so it took a bit to find him. My only complaint is the license plate of the car did not match what I was told. This is a big deal to me as it's a security issue as a single female traveler. One tip for others who book via trip advisor. Go to the trippest website and put in your confirmation number within 24 hours of pickup. They will give you details on yoru driver and the car as well as instructions on what do if he's not there.

The driver was waiting in the arrivals area with a sign with our name on it. He was easy to find. He assisted with the bags, checked the hotel we were travelling to was still correct. The drive was good and car clean. Would recommend.

After getting the price to be picked up by my hotel, I went onto trip advisor and searched airport taxi. Trippest had great reviews and 1/3 the price. The driver had our name and was waiting for us. He even brought us coffee and breakfast from McDonalds. If you are more than 2 people or have more than 2 luggage, I suggest getting a bigger car. We were picked up in a mid size car.

The driver was courteous, he had a fresh bottle of water (so needed this) a map of Beijing and as the Hotel was not accessable by car, he walked me right to the door with my bag.

Arriving at 11.00pm at night after a long flight, Kevin met us on time and transported us safely, and comfortably to our hotel. The return trip was equally as comfortable and without hassle. Definitely not a luxury but a necessity to starting and finishing a holiday.

I arranged a car to travel from the Beijing airport to the Peninsula Hotel. After 20 hours of travels, it’s a delight not to worry about the last leg. The driver was prompt and easy to find. The car was new and very clean.

Prior to our recent week long visit to Beijing I booked an airport to hotel private transfer with Trippest through the China Highlights webpage, it was a very easy and straight forward process, they responded within 24 hours with all the details necessary, then 24 hours prior to your airport arrival you receive another email with a picture and name of your driver plus a picture of your car and license plate number and drivers mobile number. After a tiring 14 hour flight there was our driver Mr. Zhang waiting in the arrivals hall just as planned with our name on a sign. He placed our bags in the trunk and gave us each a bottle of water and off we went. He got us through the traffic with greatest of ease, he's been doing it for 23 years after all, even though he did not speak English it was not a problem as he had his trusty voice translator app on his phone allowing us to have nice conversation along the way. He got us to our little Hutong hotel down a dark narrow side alley and walked our bags to the entrance and made sure we were ok and was then on his way. All I all a pleasant stress free journey to our hotel in a huge unfamiliar city in the dark, private transfer is the way to go, especially with Trippest and Mr. Zhang. As a side note we used Trippest and Mr. Zhang on two subsequent transfers during our week in Beijing, again with the same results. Will use again on future trips to Beijing. Highly recommended!!

The driver was waiting for us at the arrivals of Beijing airport despite one hour to go through immigration. Everything went as expected, we recommend as this one one of the cheapest options we saw online (still $60 though).

We have used train ticket purchase, it is so convenient, used it in October and again for a second trip to China in January, no problems, our tickets were waiting for us at our hotel. Their website provides great information on train and subway travel in China, it made our trip so much easier. I would highly recommend their services. Also booked a private airport to hotel transfer in Beijing, so nice after a long flight. Our guide met us in the arrival hall, brought us directly to our hotel! Lots of information on their website to help you make the most of your China trip.

My first time in Beijing. Contacted my hotel for car service and their rate was close to or more expensive than one night hotel rate. So I researched and found China Highlights. For $33 you get (I was by myself) dedicated service! As soon as I got out of immigration and customs, I already saw a kind, respectable gentleman holding a sign with my name clearly written. I was transported in a nice big Toyota sedan. The driver did not speak English but used his phone (technology) to translate to ask if the temperature of the car was okay with me. Beijing traffic greeted me and I dozed off throughout the long car ride. I got to my hotel safe and sound. The driver parked the car, picked up my luggage and true to China Highlights guarantee, made sure I was safely in the hotel, checked in, and in fact was waiting to take my luggage up to my room (which I didn't have him do). I highly recommend this company. I will be taking their day tour of Beijing in a few days and will write a separate review for that. But for airport transfers, this is value-for-money. Easily the driver was dedicated for my airport transfer service for 4 hours. I gave him a 20% tip, just like I would give a not so dedicated taxi service in the USA some tip.

We used China Highlights to book high speed train tickets from Beijing to Xian. China Highlights was very easy to work with and is responsive to emails. We booked our tickets several months in advance, but the tickets weren't released by the train company until 30 days out. Turned out that the train we originally wanted was cancelled, so we were offered other trains to choose from. We chose a train that was just a couple of hours before our first choice, so no problems there. We paid to have the tickets delivered to our hotel, and they were waiting for us when we checked in. Everything went smoothly with China Highlights and I would certainly recommend them.

<p>The actual pick up went smoothly. Saw my name the moment I step out from arrival. The local Agent is good. The only thing to be improved would be the booking confirmation I got from Viator when I purchased this service instead. There were no details from the Viator confirmation slip.</p>

<p>This was an excellent experience for us. The driver was waiting for us as we cleared customs, he escorted us to the van, offered us water, then drove in a very careful way direct to our hotel. The van was roomy, comfortable and clean. This couldn't have been better.</p>
