Start your tour with your Beijing hotel pickup at your preferred time by your private guide and driver. Then drive about 1.5 hours to Mutianyu Great Wall, which is located in Huairou County, about 79km away from downtown Beijing. This area has dense woods with beautiful landscape all year around. It enjoys a reputation of "Mutianyu surpassing others of the Great Wall and is the best scenic spot". Upon arrival, you will first take the cable car up to tower 14, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of this section. Then you have the choice of hiking up to the peak and come back to Tower 14, take cable car down, or hiking down to tower 6, take the toboggan down (more fun). You have approximately 2 hours here. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Michael, our guide to two Great Wall locations, was friendly and knowledgeable. (And he spoke perfect English btw.) His views on historic and cultural conditions which drove the creation of the wall was helpful and he was genuinely curious about us and our own story. He made great recommendations for food options and made sure our young daughter was part of the conversation. Both he and our driver made the travel to and from the Wall pleasant. Guo picked me up from the airport and took me to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. I chose to hike up the steep path instead of taking the cable car—Guo hiked it with me! The views were incredible, and he was an amazing, fun host. Afterward, he dropped me off at my hotel in Beijing. Highly recommend Mutianyu with Guo!

We had a nice trip with Mr Lin Kong. He has a very clean car . He makes our trip very comfortable and prepared some snacks and water. Also we had a stop at the tea shop and had nice ceremony of tea tasting. And you can ask him to drop you off in the city center . ☺️

We were escorted to the Great Wall by Sally and our private driver. We went early and beat the crowds (recommended!!) and Sally gave us the history of the wall and China on the drive there, with more anecdotes while we were on the wall. Highly recommended and Sally is very highly recommended.

The tour was really nice overall,good organization and smooth trip from Bejing. We started our tour at 6:30 am reached the wall by 8 am. He got our entrance tickets,explained the best way to explore the wall and waited us at the same place after we finished the tour by ourselves. He also provided us raincoats. Finally we reached back the hotel at 2:15pm. We had about 3,5 hours to explore the wall,but it depends how much time you want to spend. Good price-quality,highly recommended!! Thank you Kong:)
The trip with Kong was nice: 1. He pick us up from the hotel around 06:30h 2. We drove for 1 hour and a half to the Great Wall 3. He gave us the tickets 4. We discover the Great Wall by ourself. 5. Kong waits us in the entrance to bring us back to the hotel around 14:15h Very nice guy, 100% recommended!
