I was expecting an English speaking tour guide that would explain the history of the wall. Unfortunately he was unable to do the climb due to an injury. He sent a co-worker but unfortunately she didn’t speak much English.

The journey from the hotel to the Great Wall was smooth, taking about two hours, with occasional traffic jams. As we passed through the villages, our guide, Wayne, shared histories of the different villages and the lives of the people there. I was thrilled to reach the highest point, approximately 700 meters high, which certainly fulfilled a lifelong dream. I'm grateful to the guide for his arrangements, which allowed me to fully experience the local culture. Thank you. I'll definitely recommend this tour to my friends.
The Great Wall of China has been on my bucket list. As a mountain climbing enthusiast, I had originally planned to hike the Jinshanling Great Wall, but it's been raining in Beijing lately, so I opted for a private tour. The guide was very thoughtful, providing water and an umbrella, and sharing a lot of history and information about the Great Wall along the way. We're both hikers, so we shared a lot of climbing experiences. Wayne's highest climb is 5,025 meters, while I climbed Kilimanjaro. He took care of me throughout the entire Great Wall climb. I highly recommend this itinerary and guide, and I'm so grateful. What a blessing to meet you again!
Wayne made my brief solo visit to Beijing absolutely amazing! He picked me up from the airport and brought me back safely, taking all the stress out of my layover. He speaks excellent English, is thoughtful, supportive, and completely adapted the tour to my pace and timing. We visited the Great Wall with ease , no waiting in lines and everything was perfectly organized. A major highlight was the authentic local restaurant with top-quality Chinese food (very fresh and tasty), and the visit to a traditional tea house where I enjoyed a full tea class. It was the perfect cultural touch that made the experience complete. His car was super comfortable, and the whole tour felt smooth, relaxed, and personalized. Great experience in itself to go see the Great Wall but the amount of great care in the tour is amazing made going to the wall one of the greatest experiences ever. Super friendly tour guide which is key to having the best experience.

And the view is stunning and amazing when you up the watch tower that observe and defense Mongolia army in the past. Visiting the Wall a little bit crowds during the weekend day. So I recommend you guys come here better on weekdays. Totally worth it!
We traveled to Beijing as a family, and visiting the Great Wall was a must. Our guide and driver Wayne who also happens to be the owner of the company was fantastic, funny and experienced. I appreciated the perfect balance Wayne provided by giving us the freedom to explore while handling all the planning with care and professionalism. In the morning, we took a cable car up to Tower 14 at Mutianyu, walked past the famous graffiti wall and climbed to the Hero Stone at Tower 20 for an incredible view. Afterward, we visited the Ming Tombs on the way back. The mountain scenery and ancient architecture were stunning, and exploring the underground palace with its ceremonial pottery and emperor’s coffins was fascinating. Instead of returning us to the hotel, Wayne kindly dropped us off at Nanluoguxiang, a lively historic street full of local culture and energy that we were eager to explore. It was the perfect way to end the day. Combining the Great Wall of China and the Ming Tombs in one trip is definitely a great choice. Highly recommend!

I had a long layover in Beijing and decided to book this Mutianyu Great Wall tour — best decision ever! Wayne was my tour guide&driver.He picked me up directly from the airport, which was super convenient. Everything was perfectly arranged: clean and comfortable car, plenty of time to explore the Wall, and no pressure or rush. Mutianyu is absolutely stunning and much less crowded than other parts of the Wall. The communication before and during the trip was excellent. If you’re looking for an easy, stress-free way to see the Great Wall during a layover, this is it. I would like recommended this tour and come to Beijing find Wayne.
My day at the Great Wall of China was incredible and a big part of that was thanks to Wayne. He arrived on time to pick me up from my hotel and made the entire trip smooth and enjoyable. I chose an early session, which worked out perfectly. The traffic was light and I got to explore before it got crowded, which made for some amazing photos. Wayne was friendly, professional and made sure everything went smoothly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
Friendly and very historical knowledgeable guide. Helpful on the whole trip with tickets, cable car, shuttle buses, photos and the story of the wall. Due to the weather we did not quite reach the available top. Was subsequently guided to local restaurant with good local food with fresh fish. Generally a super guided tour of the wall.
