Mutianyu Great Wall Private Tour With Best English Speak Driver

Would 100% recommend booking this tour! Our guide, Kevin, was exceptional from pick-up to drop-off. He was already waiting for us in the hotel lobby and, during the drive to the Great Wall, gave us some really interesting insights into the history of the city and the Wall itself. The journey was super comfortable, and the early arrival meant we avoided all the queues. The Wall was also relatively quiet when we arrived, giving us plenty of opportunities to take some great photos without the crowds. There were no queues for the chairlift either! Kevin made sure everything was organised and taken care of, making the whole experience completely seamless and stress-free. Excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Davis was a great guide. Arrived promptly at the pickup time and location. Knew how to get us to the wall quickly and got out to show us around, helped us buy our tickets, and set a meetup point. After we got back, Davis got us back to the city safely. Experience was great and it helped having an English speaking guide along the way.

We had a great time at the Great Wall. Linda, who coordinated our experience, suggested that we leave early to avoid crowds and she was right. Rose, our guide for the day came to our hotel early in a nice clean BMW. She was friendly and helpful throughout the day- even serving as our personal photographer at the wall. Rose took care of everything and provided clear instructions and information. Made our Great Wall experience very memorable.

I booked this only a few days before so they didn’t have an English speaking guide available and we went with just a Chinese speaking driver called Liu Chao. However, he used a translation app and was very friendly and accommodating. He got our tickets for us, was flexible with the schedule and was waiting for us in the hotel lobby on time. He was very knowledgeable and had clearly done the route many times and knew the best spots to go, so I would recommend.

We went to Mutianyu Great Wall in October with Linda's Tour Service. Rose, our guide for the day came early to the hotel to pick us up. We had a great day- Rose was super friendly and knowledgeable, taking care of us, she organized the tickets and knew all the best places for photos. Highly recommend a tour with Rose. The Great Wall is amazing but go early to avoid the crowds!

This was a great tour, very smooth from pick up to drop off. Yuee was a great driver for our trip, such a gentleman and very helpful with information. He bought our cable car tickets and rode up with us to show us where to walk then was waiting for us when we came down. The tour went so smoothly thanks to him. Very nice to have a door to door private car service instead of facing the crowded line ups for the shuttle buses.

Taking this private car was a brilliant decision. Our driver Sam picked us up at hotel right on time. His friendliness right away led me to believe it was going to be a great day. I was right! Sam guided us through a beautiful day of scenic sights and drives. The Great Wall is a lot of walking so having the private car was a huge benefit. We arrived early to beat the crowds. This allowed us opportunities to make other stops including a tea tasting which was so great. Sam was very pleasant to be with. I’d say we had a great day and the feeling was mutual. Thank you Sam.

We had a fantastic visit to the Wall of China Mutianyu! 🚗✨ The day was sunny and perfect for photos. Our chofer, Davis, was on time, we could go at our pace, and we got to visit a tea house which was very good 😊👍🏻 Linda and Davis gave us a wonderful experience, I recommend the tour.

I booked this private tour extremely last-minute, literally just five minutes before the booking deadline, and the company still managed to arrange a driver for me. That alone was impressive. One of the biggest advantages was the option to be picked up directly from Beijing South Railway Station, which very few tour providers seem to offer. My driver was there right on time when I arrived from Shanghai. The entire journey was smooth, comfortable and relaxing. My driver was exceptionally polite, professional, attentive and reliable. His driving was excellent, calm, safe and confident throughout the trip. Although we didn’t speak the same language, communication worked perfectly through a translation app. He was patient, helpful and genuinely committed to making the experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. He even accompanied me to the ticket counter and helped organize the tickets, so I didn’t have to worry about any of the logistics. What really stood out was his thoughtfulness, professionalism and genuine hospitality. I felt very well looked after throughout the experience. A seamless, stress-free way to visit the Great Wall, especially if you’re arriving in Beijing by train. Highly recommended.

We had a great experience. Our driver Leo was friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. He offered ideas that enhanced our experience and at the same time was accommodating to our interests. He also took some great pictures for us. The activity provider was also very helpful in responding to our particular needs. In particular, she arranged for us to be met at our hotel, take our luggage with us for the tour, and then be dropped off at the airport afterwards to catch our flight home. We highly recommend this tour

Rose was an amazing driver and guide. The ride was really smooth. She went with us to start the walk and gave us lots of good suggestions on what parts of the wall to visit. She also took plenty of amazing pictures, she really knows the good spots! She also gave us recommendations for food in Beijing.

Davis was our driver and was already there for pickup at 7am. It was the best decision to leave early to avoid heat and crowds. Davis was really helpful in booking additional arrangements. We had good conversation in English. Highly recommend Davis and the tour company. A great experience all round.

Everything went according to the description. Linda, got in touch beforehand and helped set everything up. Our guide, Jack, was amazing and very helpful. He picked up our group at the time booked, took us to the Great Wall site, and we did not need to use the shuttle. He helped book the cable car and took us all the way to the wall. For large groups, it is the best option and well worth the booking.

Our driver Bentley was amazing, arrived on time for our hotel pick up and helped us with everything throughout the day. He had a car a seat ready for our 1 year old and drove us out early to the Great Wall. Once there he looked after our cable car tickets and even came up with us to take photos. After the Wall, he brought us to a local restaurant and then to a tea house. Overall a great day , spending over 7 hours with us. Could not recommend more

If you are visiting the Great Wall, do yourself a favor and book this private tour! Rose was an incredible tour guide from start to finish. She was right on time for pickup, and her suggestion to head out earlier in the morning was spot on and we completely beat the massive crowds. Rose gave us the VIP treatment. She drives you directly to the cable car entrance, you skip the long line for the shuttle buses entirely, saving so much time and hassle. Once we got up to the wall, Rose stayed with us, sharing great insights and acting as our personal photographer. She seriously knows what she’s doing when it comes to taking pictures. We walked away with amazing memories and stunning photos. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Rose!

This was the most amazing experience! Fred was the best guide, photographer, navigator, driver, and everything else! Not only did he help us get tickets to the key attractions and take amazing pics of us on the Great Wall…he also extended our tour by taking us to local shops for one-of-a-kind custom souvenirs to take home. Highly recommend the Jade shop, Tea shop, and Silk shop. Very cool! Would book with Fred again, he was the best!!

We enjoyed our time at Mutianyu- it was very warm and we walked from Tower 6-15, and back. Went w our teen boys and enjoyed the exploring- be prepared for hills and uneven stones. It did start to rain so sadly the slide was closed. Seeing the wall was breathtaking. Beats any photo in the history books. Davis was well spoken in English and helped share historical info. I would recommend booking w the tour guide if you want greater detail about the wall.

What a delightful outing. Let me underscore the prudence of arriving early—before the busses. Linda was in impeccable communication during the planning phase and was a calm, certain presence during the trip (which was customized to our particular whims along the way). Phenomenal day and service with our driver Liu Chao! We took Linda’s advice to leave as early as possible (she recommended 6:30am but we did 7:00 to be able to eat breakfast at our hotel beforehand) and was that ever the right choice. As we reserved at the last minute, Linda wasn’t sure she’d be able to get an English speaking driver and asked if we’d be ok with a Chinese speaking driver and using a translate app. We’ve been doing that the entire trip so said we were ok with it. Turned out to be great. Liu Chao was delightful and it was easy to have very nice conversations with him via translate app. He provided interesting historical commentary on everything from the importance of jade and tea-drinking in Chinese culture to traditional Chinese medicine. The VIP pass allowed us to bypass the shuttle buses to the entrance. We entered about 8:45 in July and it wasn’t crowded then. Opted to walk up. Glorious time on the wall. Able to get amazing photos without too many other people. When we came down about 10:45, the line to get in was huge. Highly recommend this excellent service. It was absolutely the best choice to visit the Great Wall.

This is a great way to see the Great Wall! We were picked up from our hotel in a modern air conditioned car and taken out to the wall by Yuehan, a friendly and knowledgeable guide. He talked us through a few sights on the way, then took us up the cable car, took a few photos at the top and in the cable car, and then left us to explore at the wall itself, after giving us a bit of history. 100% recommended.

Perfect experience, we went with as a family with 8 month baby and 4 year old. Johnwoo arrived ahead of 6am to collect us. Helped with booking the cable cart tickets, even went on it with us dropping us right to the front of the stairs to the Great Wall. Amazing experience and tour, completely stress free, from pick up from the hotel untill return back to our hotel. Our driver/guide Yuehan was so lovely and polite, nothing was too much trouble. He arranged the lift to the great wall starting point and took us there and also took some lovely pictures for us and gave us useful information for the Great wall hike ahead. I could only recommend this tour, had fantastic day, smoothly organised, it was so worth it!
