MuBus is a shuttle service to the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, offering two daily departures at 8:00am and 10:00am. By taking the MuBus, you can benefit from no-reservation entry and no-fee shuttle tickets within the scenic area. You will have 4-5 hours ample time to tour the Great Wall. Additionally, the Mubus Tourist Center will offer you complimentary rest areas, tea, snacks, and luggage storage, ensuring a high-quality travel experience.
It was a very nice experience. Our host Cici was knowledgeable, kind, paid attention to the needs of the group and she even sang. The trip went smooth and it was very good we left in the morning to avoid the imense raws.

Visiting the Great Wall of China was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to China. We joined this tour as two families from Bali, Indonesia – my wife, my child, another family, and myself. From the beginning until the end, it was such a wonderful and memorable experience! The Great Wall itself was absolutely breathtaking. Standing on this incredible historical landmark, surrounded by magnificent mountains, was something truly special. It is difficult to describe the feeling of seeing such an iconic place in person. It was an unforgettable experience for our entire family, including our child. However, what made this journey even more enjoyable was our fantastic tour guide, Mr. Mike! Mike is such a funny, energetic, and enthusiastic person. His great sense of humor made the atmosphere throughout the journey so enjoyable. He knows how to make people laugh and keeps everyone excited. His positive energy was contagious, and because of his enthusiasm, we became even more excited about exploring the Great Wall! Besides being funny and entertaining, Mike is also very informative. He shared interesting information, historical stories, and explanations about the Great Wall in a way that was easy to understand and enjoyable to listen to. We really appreciated how he combined knowledge with humor, making the journey both educational and entertaining. He was also very friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. Traveling with a family, especially with a child, sometimes requires extra attention, and Mike made us feel comfortable throughout the trip. He was always willing to help and made sure everyone had a great experience. He even helped capture some memorable moments through photographs, which we will cherish. I would also like to give a big appreciation to the entire Mubus team for organizing such a smooth and enjoyable trip. The coordination, transportation, and overall service were excellent. And let’s not forget the lunch! It was really good and exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, and it was a perfect opportunity to relax and recharge after exploring the Great Wall. We had a fantastic experience today on the Great Wall tour with Mubus—200% recommended! Our guide, Olive, was lovely—always attentive, friendly, and smiling. She kept us entertained the entire way, sharing insights about the Great Wall and offering helpful tips for our trip to China. She was always happy to answer our questions and address our curiosities with such kindness. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide; she even sang us a song on the way back—what more could you ask for? The tour was perfectly organized, with clear guidance on every step of the process and great suggestions for making the most of the experience. We departed from Beijing at 8:00 AM on a very comfortable bus, where we were even able to purchase our tickets for the cable car (or the chairlift/toboggan option) in advance, so everything was ready to go. Upon arrival—an hour and a half later—we headed to the Mubus service center, where we were welcomed with complimentary water and snacks. From there, we took a shuttle (included in the tour price) to the cable car, and then on to the Great Wall. Everything was efficient and well-organized. In our case, we took the long route—from tower 14 to 23—and it was fantastic. It was a bit challenging in places, with steep staircases and inclines, but the views and the history the site represents are truly immersive. It’s true that there are quite a lot of people, and some queues form when passing through certain arches in the wall, but it wasn’t excessive—at least not during the time we were there. Afterward, we headed back to tower 14 to catch the cable car, which took us to the shuttle connection, and then on to the service center. There, we rested a bit, had some snacks, and boarded the shuttle back to Beijing, arriving around 4:00 PM (you can take a later shuttle if needed; the guides at the service center offer that option). I would take this exact tour again and again if I were planning another visit to the Great Wall with Mubus and Olive. It’s an affordable price, the organization is top-notch, and the guide was wonderful.
Well organised trip to Great Wall and Summer Palace in a small group. Amelia the guide was amazing, provided a lot of information. Was a convenient service centre at the entrance which was quite useful. Clear instructions given at every stage avoiding confusion. Good trek on the wall from tower 14 to 20 and back. Overall a very enjoyable trip. Leave early to before 7 ideally to beat the crowd.
Be prepared for massive queues, the queues can get pretty wild. Other than that it is a great experience. Our guide, Max, is maybe the best tour guide I've ever had. He was friendly, really knowledgeable, funny and seemed to genuinely care about what he was doing and about making sure everyone had a great time. His passion and pride for his country's history was very evident and it got you invested in all the stories he was telling.
It was a wonderful day, the introduction of the journey did by Mike was excellent. The explanation of what to see and what don’t to do was too much clear. The views where unique, I have to come back again to Great Wall to live the history of China. The admission fee is very well, it is good for everybody. I think it is very cheaper than other places in other countries. Maybe, stay there, walking and enjoying the landscapes could be better i f we would have more than 5 hours, but the tim e we had I think it was just to walk very fast, but i’m very happy with Mumus, Mike was wonderful, the best of all. Congratulations, you did it!!!

Very comfortable and well organized transfer in and out the wall. Mike was our guide in the bus. Made things very clear and more importantly FUN. They also provide the option to buy all passes not included while in the bus, which sets you to start your path as you arrive
Tour was a very good experience. It's very organized. Pick up point was easy to locate and well marked. The Guide, Mr Mike was excellent. He was very informative and lots of "Real Talk" and added lots of tips as to how we go best with our visit to the Great Wall. He even sent us, restaurant suggestions and places for shopping. Also sent us photos of the Great Wall and the cats after. I would suggest to add at least another hour of the tour. 4.5-5 hours may sound enough but we got the lunch included and it was a bit rushed in the end as it was time to go back. Over all it was great.. Thanks to Mr Mike. Will come visit China again.

I highly recommend this 7:30 AM Mubus tour! We got to the Great Wall early and avoided crowds. Our guide John was knowledgeable and friendly, detailing the Great Wall’s history through different dynasties and helping purchase our tickets. The waiting lounge was lovely, serving teas, fruits and snacks, and the lunch was plentiful. Each guest received a free bottle of water, and we could grab coffee at a nice discount. The whole service was incredibly thoughtful.
I did a tour to Mutianyu Great wall with a 5km hike included. It was a great experience with spectacular views, incredible history and lots of stairs :) We were a small group of only 4 people and our guide Martin told us a lot of interesting information about the wall and the history behind, in a very interactive and friendly way. The tour was organized exceptionally well, I have got a notice a day before with the detailed instructions about the meeting point and even pictures. In spite of many tourists on the wall, the guide had always an eye on us, so that all went smoothly. And at the end the roasted duck back in Peking (also a recommendation of our guide) rounded it all to the perfect day.
Mr. Mike was an excellent guide, he was very clear in his presentation and the whole experience ran smoothly. He also brought a fun energy that made the experience all the better.

Derek was our Englisch spoken Guide, he was very Kind, he was very attentive and helpfull, The Great Wall was amazing, beautifull, This Place Must Go. This day was first day of golden week, were lot of people on the road, the bus has not a bathroom, if you have bladder problem, be aware 😬 After tour I asked Derek one tour for the next day and he helped me to find for forbidden city tour, in the night came a confirmation message for the tour, also amazing place, please send me a thank you to Mary, my guide for the forbidden city and best regards

The post-rain view of Mutianyu Great Wall was absolutely charming with amazing visibility. The mighty wall winds across steep rolling mountains, creating breathtaking views that stayed in my mind. We joined the 7:30 tour and arrived before most visitors. Mubus’ second-floor buffet was fantastic, full of different foods, fresh fruit and pizza. Our guide John was knowledgeable and his English was clear. Purchasing slide tickets with him was simple and cost the same as at the official window.
I had a very pleasant experience! Everything was well organised and on time. Was very impressed with the Mubus greeting area with tea and snacks! The whole tour was very well organised. The wall visit was majestic with an aura of Chinese ancient history. The pick up and drop off was spot on. Last but not least our guide Mike was superb. Our guide Mike made the trip super memorable. The whole ride to the Great Wall, he kept it very entertaining and informative that I didn't realise how quickly we reached the wall. It was great to see someone enjoy and be great at what they do. Mike might be at the Great Wall almost everyday, but you couldn't tell by his enthusiasm about the wonder of the world. He also kept in touch throughout the day to make sure we are alright. I will definitely remember The Great Wall along with Mike :) The whole MUBUS team were great. The service and also the buffet is a must have as you will need it for the climb. Moreover, I took the 10am Mubus and it was great as I managed to get up and down the cable car and get up the chairlift and get down the toboggan slide, all without much queues • I really enjoyed the trip. We had a wonderful day with Cici at the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Summer Palace. Cici is an excellent guide! She told us so many interesting historical facts about the Great Wall and the Summer Palace. We learned a great deal about the history of China and its ruling dynasties. Besides Cici was very friendly and very attentive to our needs and answered ervy single question we asked. The lunch was very tasty, everything was very well organised. I highly recommend this tour! I had a great experience with Mike on the Mutianyu tour. He explained a lot of Chinese culture and history during the bus ride to help us better understand the Great Wall. He also had print outs to maximise the use of our time to get the best out of the east and west section.

The Great Wall is one of the seven heritage of the world and we have understood the reason today. It’s so beautiful and well maintained that you are speechless in front of it. Thank to Mubus team we listen the history behind it, how it was built and some military aspects. The tour is very very well designed, with time to see the Great Wall alone and to listen a private lesson (if you book it). Very comfortable bus. Lunch is at buffet, with many options (even vegeterian!) and everything is fresh. The special thanks, at the end, goes to our special guide Mr. Mike. He is an amazing guide: funny, always smiling and very well prepared. He gave us all the key information on the bus and gave us some special advises. Next time, we want to have him again as guide!

Really loved this trip! Jily was a great guide—super friendly and down-to-earth. She mentioned that the summer crowd was gone since schools are back, and it made such a difference. The wall was so quiet and peaceful, we could take our time and get some really nice photos without people photobombing us. Mubus also did a great job. They have this little lounge area near the wall with free tea, snacks, water, and even raincoats just in case—such a small but thoughtful thing. Jily gave us five hours to explore, which was plenty. I pushed myself all the way to Tower 23, and she joked I was a 'Great Wall hero' now—honestly, it felt good! The pacing of the day was just right—not too rushed, not too slow. And the bus back was clean and comfortable; I actually fell asleep as soon as I sat down. All in all, a really enjoyable day. Would definitely recommend Mubus and Jily to anyone looking for a stress-free Great Wall trip.

We had a very reassuring experience booking with Mubus. One day prior to departure, we received a thorough briefing via WhatsApp, which laid out all practical information clearly. There is little for travellers to handle on their own after confirmation, since entry passes, cable‑car, shuttle and slideway tickets can all be purchased onboard the bus. Crowds at the Great Wall were moderate that day. Under overcast weather we enjoyed plenty of hiking time and fantastic scenery, especially the west‑facing views. Our guide John delivered rich historical context about Great‑Wall construction across different dynasties during the ride, making the trip both educational and enjoyable.

Jily was absolutely wonderful! We had a gorgeous sunny day, which made the Great Wall look even more spectacular. She was friendly, professional, and took care of everything — tickets, cable car, toboggan, you name it. The bus was clean and comfy, and she shared just the right amount of history and tips during the ride. We had tons of time on the wall to hike, take photos, and soak in the amazing views. Jily was always cheerful and made sure everyone felt taken care of. Lunch was simple but tasty. The whole trip was smooth, stress-free, and so much fun. Can't recommend Jily and Mubus enough!
Loved our Mutianyu summer trip! The weather was cool and comfortable, and the Great Wall looked amazing surrounded by green hills.
