It was very comfortable and good

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this Great Wall day trip, but it turned out to be such a lovely experience. The weather stayed cloudy and mild, visibility was good, and the wall itself is even more grand than I imagined. Our guide John knew so much history, walking us through the different dynasty sections, and helped everyone sort out their lift tickets. The private Mubus lounge served a generous lunch plus several kinds of tea and light snacks. Coffee is available for purchase at a special rate for guests, and we each got a free bottle of water. Really thoughtful touches all around.

John made this whole trip run smoothly, he was helpful and kept us well informed the entire ride. I booked the 8 a.m. departure hoping to skip the worst crowds, and we reached the Great Wall ahead of most groups, yet queues for the shuttle and cable car still popped up. He explained the layered history from many dynasties clearly and assisted us with cable and slide tickets on the bus. Mubus operates its own lounge with a filling lunch, assorted teas and small snacks. Coffee comes with an exclusive discount for guests, plus a free water bottle for everyone. A dependable tour.

Meeting up was easy, we received detailed instructions via WhatsApp from our guide Mike. During the bus drive Mike provided us with all the practical details for the visit - with plenty of humour! The visit to Mutianyu was impressive, you get a fantastic view of a long section of the wall. Visit both the East and West if you can, and getting there early is worth it. The Mubus buffet was plentiful and tasted great.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Mubus visiting the Great Wall at Mutianyu today! Everything was incredibly smooth, well organised, and stress-free from start to finish. She shared lots of interesting and useful information during the bus ride and made sure everything ran smoothly once we arrived. Thanks to her clear instructions and great organisation, we got through everything quickly and could spend as much time as possible actually enjoying the Great Wall rather than figuring out logistics. We explored the western route all the way to Tower 23, and the views were absolutely breathtaking! Definitely one of the highlights of our China trip so far. After making our way back down, we enjoyed the delicious buffet on Mubus's lovely sunny outdoor terrace, which was the perfect way to finish such an incredible day. Super easy to find meeting point and clear instructions throughout the day. Better pack your best walking shoes, those great wall steps are a killer.

It’s An amazing time. Olive is seriously the best asset China has to offer. She is seriously so informed and educated about the history of China. She made the process of acquiring our tickets and info we needed for the wall. Especially the cable car and toboggan. The buffet they provide is unmatched.

The tour was great value for money. The tour guide Cici was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. We were in Mutianyu Great Wall for 5 hours. The crowd was reasonable so was great to move around and take photos. Its great atmosphere to be at Great Wall. Its bit steep walk from cable car to first tower in the area. Best to have good shoes for all the walk.

I took the Mubus tour to the Mutianyu Great Wall alone. It was a wonderful experience. Our guide Kevin spoke English very fluently. He was friendly, warm, and patient. He told us the history in an easy way. He helped us use the cable car and the toboggan. The Great Wall was beautiful. The mountains were green, and the sky was clear. The watchtowers looked amazing. I walked from Tower 14 to Tower 20. The view was wonderful. Kevin took photos for me. He also gave us cold water. The bus was clean and comfortable. We had enough free time. Mubus did a great job. What a wonderful day trip with Mubus! The sunshine was lovely, visibility excellent, and temperature pleasant for climbing. The Great Wall winds continuously over mountains covered in dense green vegetation. Our guide John helped us buy cable car and toboggan tickets on the bus and told vivid historical stories from different dynasties. We were given one free bottle of mineral water each, and coffee is available at discounted rates for group guests. The majestic General’s Tower was our favourite spot on the whole wall.

Good value for money, very punctual. Especially the day we travelled was perfect with great weather, given the end of national holidays with less people and so on. They also have a dedicated office right next to this section of great wall. John, our tour guide communicates well in english and helped us immensly with many options to choose from. The souvenier shop and the complimentary tea in their office is an added advantage.

We had the best time with Max. From the moment we got picked up from Beijing we knew we were taken good care of. Max gave us some great recommendations on how to make the most of our time around the wall and of course the visit was incredible. A must do for anyone visiting Beijing.

I loved how organized this tour was. The detailed WhatsApp reminder the day before made planning easy. Don’t waste time looking for the bus at subway Exit C. You'll meet your guide first. Guide John walked us five minutes to the actual boarding spot. His English was fluent, and he made the Great Wall’s complicated history easy to understand. We also bought toboggan tickets from him at the same price as the ticket counters. Mutianyu’s views were incredible, with steep mountain slopes and scenery stretching far into the distance.

This is a super and seamless way to get to this entrance of the Great Wall. We easily rode the MRT from our hotel to the meeting point. Communication prior to the meeting was clear and detailed. Because we were anxious 76-year olds, we chose to go with the private guide offered by MUBUS (I don't remember the price but it was very reasonable.) Our guide, Olive, was a treasure. She was incredibly kind and really watched out for our safety. We only managed to go to a couple towers because it was hot and crowded. Olive was also a great photographer! We chose to ride the cable car and she got us all squared away with that. We definitely recommend paying for the buffet lunch, which was excellent with many choices. Olive had time to join us and we really enjoyed our time with her. Her English is perfect and we were so surprised that she had spent a lot of time working in Seattle, Washington, which is where we live! We were completely happy with our sweet private guide, Olive, and the MUBUS company, lunch, and transportation. It's really a great way to go!

I had a fantastic experience visiting the Great Wall with Jessica and MuBus today! She was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the trip. She explained everything clearly and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. She speaks very good English. I took the Mutianyu route, western route to tower 23 and had plenty of time to explore the Wall. We left at 6.30 am Beijing and at 8 we were there. At that time, the wall was very convenient for taking photos and not so crowded. The views were spectacular and definitely one of the highlights of my trip to China. Everything was very well organized from beginning to end. The MuBus Visitor Center was convenient, and the service was excellent. The buffet lunch was also very good, with a nice and multilple selection of chinese and western food. I had a wonderful day and would recommend MuBus and Jessica to anyone visiting the Mutianyu Great Wall!

What really stood out was how much she cared about making sure we were having a great time. Very good organized trip, everything was on time, guide was polite and did his work on 100%

We received a helpful WhatsApp confirmation with all key details one day before our tour. The gathering spot is easy to locate outside Subway Exit C. Mubas staff in red shirts are there, plus a 7‑Eleven and public restrooms nearby. Be fully ready before checking‑in, as you cannot leave after signing. The bus is not at the subway exit; we walked five minutes to board. Our 8 a.m. group arrived ahead of most tourists. Guide John is knowledgeable and breaks down complex Great‑Wall history simply. We bought cable‑car and slide tickets from him at official counter prices. After rain, the grand wall and rugged mountain views were spectacular. Mubas’ building has an air‑conditioned lounge with free snacks and water, and the upstairs buffet serves pizza and fresh produce.

The tour was really nice, Helly (our guide) was exceptional, very friendly and insightful. The walk on the Great Wall was a challenge but it was worth it! So much history behind it. Also the summer Palace.. was impressive, everything done by manual labor! Nice trip!

Excellent trip with a super guide Cici. Very well organised day and started off by a great lunch on arrival at “ The wall” which was an experience not to be missed. All fees were covered except the cable cars up and down - so you can choose to do the east side or the west side walk or both. Very good communication before the day too in terms of what to bring and meeting point directions which could not have been clearer.

Everything was perfect! Jessica is an excellent guide, she gave us very good advice and she was always helpful and pleasant. The food was unexpectedly delicious, we enjoyed it very much! We recommend Mubus and especially Jessica.

We had a great experience with MUBUS. The pick up process was very easy, smooth and convenient and we had a very comfortable bus ride to and from the Mutianyu Great Wall. Miss CiCi especially was very helpful and friendly. She gave a very informative explanation about the history of the great wall and provided us with route maps and helped us choose which tour route would be convenient for everyone based on their personal preferences. It was also very convenient for us because Miss CiCi could speak english well making it so much easier for us to understand and ask questions without using translators. She was really helpful in guiding us to the MUBUS station at the great wall premises and explaining how everything worked. The complimentary food and the buffet provided by MUBUS was exceptional and overall the tour package was well worth the price! My family and I had a wonderful time at the Great Wall. Thanks MUBUS and especially Miss CiCi!! 🌸

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The whole trip was very easy and well organized, with everything running smoothly and exactly as planned. A special mention has to go to our guide, Mike, who was phenomenal! He speaks English exceptionally well, is extremely knowledgeable, and, most importantly, incredibly funny and entertaining. He made the whole experience even more enjoyable and kept us laughing throughout the day. The organization was excellent, the journey was straightforward, and we never had to worry about anything — we could simply enjoy the Great Wall and the experience. Highly recommended!
