We booked this excursion really last minute but Linda handled our trip with great efficiency - she was quick and informative! Fang was our driver for the day and he far exceeded our expectations! We had quite a stressful and long trip to Beijing and were awful at remembering directions/meeting points - Fang was patient with us, planned things in advance for us and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. He ended up helping us for 12hrs with no complaint! His boss even got us cold coffees when we were falling asleep in the car... It was a lovely surprise to arrive at The Great Wall at 33°C with a cold brew to tide us over! We didn't have a guide but this was one of the best bookings we've made on Viator (and we make quite a few)!

I wanted to book a trip to the Great Wall the day before in the afternoon (so quite late). Linda answered really fast to organize it and it went well. She also offered me the opportunity to go anywhere else which was great because I wanted to see the forbidden city as well. The extra payment for that was easy to handle and the instructions for the next day where clear. The driver was there at the right time. David was really helpful and friendly and explained our journey well. We managed it to do everthing on time so I still had enough time at the airport when we came back. I can recommend it. Thank you to Linda and David.

Driver was friendly and picked us up from the airport as arranged. They had organised the car seat as requested for our toddler. Car was spacious and comfortable and due to the time of our flight we arrived very early at the great wall just as things were opening and beat the crowds. We then went to the forbidden city however were dropped off up the road to walk down and we ended up getting slightly lost. I had switched off roaming however had to switch it on to enable WhatsApp. It also meant we were a bit rushed getting through the forbidden city.

Super chilled with no rush at all. My driver Fred was great and knew the places so well. Would highly recommend

Lilian was lovely, and the trip went smoothly. We managed to visit the Great Wall and the Forbidden City with plenty of spare time. All tickets were booked in advance which was a real time saver.

The service is great. The driver pickup us early in the morning to the Greatwall. The driver is helpful and the car is convenient. Unfortunately, we arrive during Chinese New Year. Very crowded in Forbidden City and not enough time to visit, so we spend the time to less crowded Beijing side.

Great tour! Very hassle free and easy to book. We would absolutely recommend this tour for every layover. Even though we booked so last minute Linda could still manage to organize everything for us. Wasn’t rushed or stressful at all. We were always given more time than needed and finished this tour 30 minutes early. The driver was great too. Absolutely brilliant!

We had a great time in our Tour in Beijing. Linda was very nice and a very excellent guide and driver. She pick me and my husband at the Airport and drop us also at the Hotel after the Tour, she is very Professional. We are very comfortable with her, since we dont have their chinese currency she offer me to buy food first and i just pay her with my money in Euro. Very accomodating and her english is very clear we understand her very well,about the History in China very knowlegeable. During our tour shes the one taking our pictures our photographer at the same time. Again thanks to Linda we wish to see you again with another Tour in China.

The trip was very well organised. It was clear from the start what was included and what wasn’t. Communication was great, I always knew where to go and what to expect. Driver was friendly and professional. I had an amazing day and so glad I have booked. It is not easy to find the way around, especially to get to the great wall. Little bonus is that the driver was permitted to drive up to the cable car location which saves on the queue to get up with the shuttle bus. It is also quite difficult to get tickets to the forbidden city outside china but Linda was straight on it and made it happen. I would recommend!

My stopover in Beijing lasted 12 1/2 hours, so I didn't have a lot of time. With this tour I was able to see the Great Wall and the Forbidden City in one day, which was great. The driver was very friendly and accommodating, I got free water in the car. A little cash for the cable car on the Great Wall, souvenirs, food... I had previously exchanged at the airport. The ticket for the Forbidden City had to be purchased a week in advance using personal details, so my organizer contacted me. Luckily, I also had the perfect weather! An unforgettable day for me! But if you want to do this tour, you should really make sure you have a minimum stay of 12 or 13 hours.

Linda was great in driving us through the highlights of Beijing giving us background history and showing us the best spots in the city.

I had a layover and wanted to see the great wall! My guide went above and beyond to get me there... After being held up for hours at the airport he did what he could to make sure I got to see the wall and had an awesome time! He took amazing photos and I am forever grateful to have a wonderful transition into the city! I would highly recommend!

My partner and I had a great time on our day tour with Linda. She was simple to organize with in advance, she came to pick us up at the hotel on time in a nice and clean van. She was flexible with our needs and very responsible to help us get to where we needed to go. She was really nice as well and it was enjoyable to get to know her during the day. It was a great experience. The car was very comfortable and the driver was very patience because our flight get delated and he waited a lot for us and helped us to see all on time. He bougth us food and change our money to china money to pay the cableway of the Great Wall. We are very happy with the service. 100% recomendable.

I highly recommend this company Linda had excellent communication and did an awesome job setting us up with Mr. Wu He met us at the airport waited on our delay drove my son and I in a private car to forbidden city and the great wall,Escorted us and picked up our tickets took several memorable pictures on the wall waited on us and got a bite with us to eat then promptly Brought us back to the airport escorted us into baggage pick up and walked us to security very attentive, very hospitable, great conversation highly recommend! Because of them they made our trip to China is so easy!

I booked this tour for my family of mostly 50+ and they had an amazing time. Their tour guide was very thorough and made sure they got back to the airport in time. Linda was the tour organizer and her communication was great which eased my worries as my family doesn’t travel overseas often. I wanted to make sure they were taken care of and she did just that. Great day with our driver Davis in Beijing, he knew the in's & out's of the sites. But a word of caution, don't fly with Air China or let them book your hotel in Beijing.

Great option for your layover in Beijing. We had approx. 11hrs and Linda made sure to drive us both at the Great Wall and the Forbidden City and back to the airport timely. She is very friendly and speaks English very well. Definitely recommend her :)

A perfect stopover to spend our 15 hours in Beijing. Travel times allow for small restorative naps before visits. The driver does everything to make the stopover go smoothly.

Wir wurden pünktlich abgeholt und herzlich empfangen. Der Zeitablauf war super. Es wurden Winterjacken für das frostige Peking bereitgestellt. Am Schluss durften wir noch an einer Teezeremonie teilnehmen und haben kleine Souvenirs von unserer Fahrerin geschenkt bekommen.

Vor Beginn der Reise bekommt man über WhatsApp schonmal Informationen, was hilfreich war. Der Treffpunkt war leicht zu finden und der Fahrer war super freundlich, zuvorkommend und konnte neben der Geschichte zur Mauer und der Verbotenen Stadt auch einiges zum Leben in China erzählen. Er war super offen und auch interessiert am Vergleich zum Leben in Deutschland. Da ich alleine unterwegs war, war es schön, dass er mich direkt auch auf die Mauer gebracht hat und die Treffpunkte sogar mit einer Zeichnung markiert hat, die ich dann mitgenommen habe. Die Zeit konnten wir maximieren, da er genau wusste wann man wieder am Flughafen sein musste und wir daher so spät es ging losgefahren sind und trotzdem viel Zeit an den beiden Orten hatten. Insgesamt war ich sehr froh diese Reise mit einem Fahrer so gebucht zu haben.
