The best way to spend a long layover in Beijing. I was picked up at Beijing airport by Sam. Finding Sam was very easy and communications with the tour operator throughout were fantastic. We drove straight out to the Great Wall in his EV which was a smooth trip and interesting to see the varied parts of Beijing’s outer suburbs. The Mutianyu section of the wall is an incredible piece of architecture and very spectacular. I spent 2 and a half hours walking the wall and exploring, taking photos. Just an incredible experience. I met Sam again and realised that he had been happy to go with me to interpret and explain but I had just taken off! On the way back to the airport we went to a restaurant for a beautifully fresh and tasty lunch…perfect after all the exercise. We also squeezed in a stop for a Chinese Tea ceremony and tasting. Delivered back to the airport well in time for my flight! Definitely recommend for a long layover in Beijing!

Everything was PERFECT! Linda was hyper helpful and progessional and we were able to visit the Great Wall early in the morning with no crowd and cool temperature. Wonderful and unique experience at the Great Wall! The transportation service has been excellent and our guide, Sandy, really made everything much easier and enjoyable, giving us much help and useful notions also about Chinese history. Fred was excellent. Exceptionally Customer driven and keen for us to have a great experience and avoid the queues wherever possible. The recommendation to bring our trip forward from 9 am departure to 6 or 7 am meant that the queue for the chairlift was nice and small!!

Angie was an amazing tour guide. We booked a 6 to 8 hour tour with her and she provided a lot of history about Beijing the Great Wall and other subjects continously throughout the tour. She was highly engaged and attentive to all of our needs. The logistics regarding transportation and getting through the lines with special passes saved a ton of waiting in the crowded entrance. Angie's English was great and was very helpful giving us directions and information. She accompanied us on our walk of the Wall as well. We never felt we were lost. She guided us all the way. I highly recommend her and her company as a private tour. It will make for a smooth and enjoyable experience with no hassles. It will also save a ton of time than if you take the larger tours as they do not have the special passes. This was the best tour and service we have had.

Very smooth ride and we were among the first on the wall. We saw how the wall is with crowd later, so we definitely recommend to use this service and be there first thing in the morning.

This was a stopover tour we planned from PEK airport. Our time was very tight with a trip at 5:00 pm so we requested to be back at 3:00 pm and the private layover Mutianyu Great Walk tour was planned properly and accordingly to be on time. Our driver Devis was fluent in English and very good suggesting the best way to to walk thru the Great Wall sections open and where to get back to the tobbogan. Excellent experience!!!

Overall, I had a very enjoyable & memorable trip to The Great Wall (Mutiyanu). My driver Jason picked me up from my hotel lobby just before 7AM, so it was definitely quite an early start, but highly advisable to avoid the notorious Beijing traffic and larger crowds that can form later on in the day at The Great Wall. Jason guided me right to the entrance / ticket turnstile, which I found very helpful. He also let me know where he would be waiting for me once I had come back down. I decided to take the Chair Lift up and Toboggan down. The Toboggan turned out to be a really fun way to end the day. It reached a nice speed, but nothing too crazy or dangerous. The Great Wall itself was awe inspiring & incredibly impressive - a real bucket list moment. The tour was very well organised and ran according to schedule. Linda (tour operator) was also very helpful from booking to the tour day itself, responding to all of my queries & questions promptly. Thanks for a great day!

We knew about this amazing opportunity and make our layover in PEK just to be able to do the tour ! Sadly, first leg of our flights was delayed and this made the Great Wall of China tour a sprint - we drove, got up, walked about 50 meters , took ton of pictures and had to go back. Still this was absolutely amazing and I would totally do it again ( with at least 4-5 hrs there to walk and sit at a nervy cafe ). Our driver was amazing and the tour operator was available 24/7, connecting with us well in advance and even helping with pre-booking our cable car tickets ! All in all, I’m already thinking when to return🙏🏽❤️

Linda (The Organizer) was great at providing the necessary information prior to my arrival! Upon arriving we met up with Davis( Our Driver), he was very friendly, easy to talk to and very timely. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and straightforward layover tour!!

The driver was on perfect time at the pickup, and he was very patient in waiting for us to be ready for the return journey. He even gave us some explanation on the key points of the section of Great Wall we were visiting! Super recommended, I would book again!

Excellent tour to Mutianyu Great Wall with a very good English speaker driver - he was at our hotel on time, took us to Mutianyu (1h drive) and was very helpful to pick up the tickets as well as helping us to have lunch ! Mutianyu is definitely a must - with so many amazing views ! Last but not least - organization (the day before !) with Linda was very easy and quick. Highly recommended !

A wonderful, efficient and reliable service. My driver was very attentive and helpful and ensured that I had everything I needed. He was very friendly and approachable and made sure that I knew how to navigate around the wall and get back to the meeting point, as well as making sure I made it into my hotel and got checked in before leaving me at the end of the tour. Davis picks me up on time at the agreed location at PEK airport, drives me to the wall, organizes the tickets with me and then lets me stay on the wall for 3.5 hours. Because it was so cold, he called the ticket office beforehand to organize an extra jacket for me to borrow, which I didn't need. He was very friendly and told me a lot about China during the trip. After the tour, he also had time to take me to the teahouse to warm up and then back to the airport. Thank you Davis for making it so easy for me. Davis (the driver) was awesome! we’ve met at the airport and for there he just took care of everything. He was so nice to me, explained me (in fluent English) about the area and was glad to help me with anything i wanted. Even when we were stack in huge traffic jams, he continued to be so nice and friendly. If you have a long layover or just limited time in Beijing, and you want ti make the mist of it, thats the right choice, everything is super organized thanks to Linda, who is the best! I had great time! Very recommended.

All in all, great experience! Linda picked me up at my hotel and transported me to the Great Wall, where she took me on a tour, taking a lift up and a ride down! After we went to a great local spot for lunch.

Just wanted to thank Linda for being our driver during our visit to the Great Wall. She picked us up from the airport, escorted us to the wall (which was absolutely AMAZING), and waited for us until we were done. We were also able to leave our luggage in her vehicle which was convenient. After the visit, she took us to our hotel in downtown Beijing and even offered to take us to the airport the following morning (for an additional cost of course). Being able to have an English-speaking person made the visit so much easier. Highly recommend booking with this company and having Linda take you around!

I had a terrific experience with Linda. After booking, she answered all the questions I had via WhatsApp and I felt prepared before the tour. She was right on time in picking me up from PEK airport at 6.30am. She even bought me bananas as a snack! Her car was very comfortable and the ride to the wall was smooth. I was on the Great Wall by 8am with almost no one else around. Such a nice experience. Linda also helped me to by gloves because it was so cold. Linda then offered to take me for a tea ceremony which was a nice bonus. I was back at the airport with plenty of time before my connecting flight to London. Totally worth the time and money. The tour was well planned and worked out flawlessly. Linda was very good about reaching out early and communicating on how to meet at the airport and how to get our 24 hour visas. Bruce the driver was very kind and even made sure we had coats which we were not prepared for since it was cold in Beijing and we were coming from 90 degree weather. He was there waiting for us when we landed and we got to the great wall with no issues. What a great use of time and what a marvel and wonder to see this site. Highly recommend this tour!

The driver Davis picked us up from the location agreed at 6:30am and we drove to the Wall. We had amazing time and plenty of time to catch our flight to London at 2pm. Davis was really friendly, speak English and explain everything with the details. I would strongly recommend Lidia services as she is to the point and always happy to assist and help.

Linda personally coordinated and picked us up from our hotel. She helped us with the tickets and gave helpful directions. Her driver for airport pick and drop were very good.

I had a 15hr layover, with a flight leaving at 3pm in the afternoon. Prior to the date, Linda was very prompt with communications, answering any questions I had regarding timing and expectations. Linda was my driver as well, and despite being juust a bit late, was excellent! She brought a warm jacket for me as requested, and provided water as well. Even though I didn't pay for a guided tour, Linda was more than happy to answer my questions and seemed very knowledgeable about the Great Wall. I would definitely recommend this company for a layover.. And if you have the ability/choice,do the cable car with the toboggan down! It was a blast. Only downside was that you need cash to pay for your cable car ticket (I didn't think it was required, but I didn't realize the Wall sat on the mountains and would take 40mins to walk up to--my mistake.) I hadn't taken any cash out as I was only in the country for 15hrs but Linda was happy to bring me to an ATM and help me sort it out. Also! Winter was actually great to view the wall--way less other tourists! I had sections of it to myself completely.

I can’t expressive how thankful I am towards Linda! After a confusion with the tour company (none of which was Linda’s fault) I thought I was going to be stranded in Beijing alone however Linda came and saved the day and did everything in her power to ensure that the little time I had in Beijing would be great. I had a fab day! Linda was extremely profession and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I can’t recommend her enough. I will definitely be contacting her again if I’m ever to be in Beijing and will certainly be passing her details on to others who are travelling there.

Great service. Linda was punctual and informative. She even got the jackets that were needed for the cold weather at the wall.

We weren't sure which tour to choose from when we were booking but we were very happy that we choose this one. Linda contacted us directly and we knew exactly what to expect. She was our driver and was great. She provided bananas and water, which was a nice touch after getting off our overnight flight. She also provided winter jackets which was very helpful since we were on a layover from a vacation in Thailand. If you're looking through the different tours, I highly recommend you book with Linda!

Overall, the service was amazing! The driver waited in the airport over two hours due to immigration and other delays that PEK is known for. Additionally, the servicer tried to reach us multiple ways to get in touch. The driver was very pleasant, however he spoke very little English so there was communication issue throughout and this is where the service can improve quite a bit. We had to use ATM to get cash and for some reason the ATM at the Great Wall would not dispense cash, so the driver happily paid for the cable car and even our lunch with Chinese RMB. On the way back to the airport, we stopped at couple of banks and finally found an ATM that would dispense cash with US bank card so, we could pay back our driver. Again, very pleasant experience with the driver and would highly recommend for long layover (>8 hr) trips to the great wall.

This was a great option how to spend our layover in Beijing. We have found the tour online and booked it with Linda. Communication before the trip was good, everything was as they said it would be. Our driver was waiting where he was supposed to be. He took us to the wall and gave us useful information. They took really good care of us and we have enjoyed the trip. It was great! Booking this tour with Linda was the best thing I could've done. The experience was seamless and absolutely perfect. I was a bit nervous at first because I was by myself and this was my first time in Beijing but it couldn't have gone better. Linda was on time to come and pick me up. She met me exactly where she told me to wait for her. We communicated via whatsapp prior to to my trip and she told me everything I needed to bring with me (I wasn't going to bring a jacket but Linda told me to because it would cold in the morning. I'm glad I did). We drove the hour and half to the Great Wall. Once we got there Linda had a friend of hers purchase the ticket for us, so we didn't have to waste any time waiting on line. Once we got to the top Linda was generous in taking as much pictures as she could. She even suggested I take a few photos when I wasn't going to. I took photos of her as well. This was perfect for me, because I was a solo traveler and getting pictures would've been so much harder if not for Linda. Linda got me back to the airport with enough time to sit down eat and relax before my flight. My overall experience with her was amazing. She is professional but very friendly. It actually felt like I was with a friend rather than with my tour guide. I recommend this to everyone especially solo travelers who want to take advantage of a long layover.

We hired Linda recently to drive us to the Great Wall. Although it snowed the morning of our adventure, she was very punctual and the van was very clean. She was very polite and professional and her driving was excellent. She purchased all of our tickets and even went via cable car 🚠 to the top with us. She told us where to meet her afterwards and she was right there, and delivered us safely back to our hotel. Her brother Fred gave us a ride to the airport when we left and he also was very polite and professional with great driving skills. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE WITH TRAVEL NEEDS IN BEIJING!

Linda is a very professional individual. She arrived in our hotel lobby on time and was very patient as we were coordinating all our family members. The drive to the Great Wall was smooth and she answered all our questions. Her car was comfortable and clean. She knew the area and the history well. She also arranged our tickets for the Great Wall.
