Great day out with an excellent guide Sunny and a very good driver Mr Yang. Saw a great deal but was never rushed.

Itinerary
You will pick up in your centrally located hotel lobby in the morning. Head up to the Panda House at Xicheng District, and get to see the cute panda bears there. You could see the pandas eating breakfast in the morning. Besides the panda house, stroll around the zoo could see more animals and beautiful garden scenery.
Then head for Olympic Park ( Bird's Nest & Water Cube). You will walk around the stadiums to take photos. It available to enter inside cost by your own.
Continue your visit to Lama Temple, the biggest lamasery in Beijing. It was built in 1694 and contains 5 halls along a central axis plus three Memorial Archways. The Hall of Harmony and Peace is the main building of the temple. The biggest single wood Buddha statue in the world is in this temple. Its both attract by the local Buddhist and travelers, too.
Afterward, board a rickshaw for a ride through the hutongs. While you weave through the ancient alleys, your guide points out numerous traditional-style gates and shops. On arrival at a local family's home, enjoy a local lunch in the Hutong home.
At the end, climb up to Jingshan Park Hill. Where is the best place to enjoy the bird's eye view of Beijing downtown city and Forbidden city. It was the manmade hill to protect the Forbidden City. Now, it's become a public park for people to do the excise. You will transferred back to your hotel after the tour.

The tour guide Bruce was good no issues with that but the package wasn’t worth the sights included I definitely could’ve did it on my own and wasn’t anything wow. I would’ve not missed anything if I didn’t do it. Definitely not worth the price( do these sights yourself instead)
This tour was exciting. I most thoroughly loved seeing the Pandas at the zoo. My tour guide Yuan was so helpful the entire day. While at the zoo, he used his height to reach above the crowds to get great shots of the Pandas using my phone camera. During the tour I was also able express wishes at the Lama Temple, have lunch and learn how to use chopsticks at a popular Hutong restaurant, then ride in a rickshaw and lastly take a short uphill hike to get a fantastic view of the Forbidden City. I felt that Yuan was very knowledgeable of the Chinese history and that he efficiently managed our time and was especially considerate to me. Thanks Yuan
Nancy was a brilliant guide. She spoke fluent English, which really helped us. Especially when our sunscreen was confiscated at the entrance to the Lama Temple. She suggested we start the day early to try and avoid some of the weekend crowds. Nancy also recommended and took lots of photos of my husband and myself for us - so no awkwardly angled selfies. Being a private tour was also great, as certain parts of the tour could be tailored to suit. Thanks for such a wonderful tour Nancy. We both had a fantastic time.
We had a lovely day exploring Beijing with Lucy. Lucy was very kind and spoke great English. She was very knowledgeable around all of the aspects we covered. We were lucky to see the Pandas awake and active. My only disappointment was we had to skip the lunch with a local family on the Hutongs but the rickshaw ride was fun
This private review for one adult and two children was spoiled by having a guide with very poor english. Linda's pronunciation was awful and we could not understand what she was saying. She was also careless of our safety crossing busy roads. The content of our trip was perfunctory. We cut the trip short and asked to be returned to our hotel. Very poor value for money. A good guide can make a memorable trip. Unfortunately this trip was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Would not recommend.
Nancy Cao was our guide… she was VERY funny and knowledgeable about all the places she brought us. We particularly loved the lunch items she chose at the family restaurant! The pandas were sooooo cute! Despite the crowds and the rain, she made it fun and we learned quite a bit. We would highly recommend Nancy for this tour.
Best Trip ever in Asia 5 stars for Linda Had a Trip of a Life Time Best Tour Guide Great way to see China 🇨🇳 Food was Delicious People friendly
I had a lovely day exploring Beijing with Linda. Visiting the pandas was a highlight and Linda made sure we arrived early to see them when they were active. There was no problem accommodating my dietary requirements. Our driver Fang was excellent in navigating the city.
The Tour was wonderful with our guide Jeffrey. The pandas are so cute and it make a lot of fun there. We get a good overview of Beijing.
What a great day!! Lucy, our amazing tour guide, did an excellent job navigating us around and explaining the history of each area. I felt like this tour had a real local vibe. We ate delicious food at a local restaurant and visited a local family in the Hutong area. While most tours concentrated on the area’s history, this tour was fun and a more relaxed pace. If you want to feel like a local, take Lucy’s tour!!
This is a wonderful tour to take when you want to see more of the beautiful local areas. The pandas were so fun to watch. The market place is an amazing area not to miss. You won’t be disappointed. It’s a must see. Lunch was also very delicious, at a local restaurant. Visiting a local family home was such a nice experience. Plus it satisfied our courtesy about what a home looked like inside, in the market area. Lucy our tour guide was very professional, informative and very flexible with our itinerary. She is so pleasant and helpful. You need to take this tour and ask for Lucy.
Had a great day out with my guide Jeffrey. This is recommended for any one who loves to see Pandas in Beijing, spend time outdoor roaming in the Summer Palace and temple of haven and learn about culture and rich history.
Maggie was a great tour guide. I loved seeing the pandas, having lunch with a local family and visiting the hutongs and the Lama Temple. Maggie was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the sights and really helped me get up close and personal with the pandas when the zoo was crowded. I only had two days in Beijing and having a personal tour guide and a personal driver really made the most of my time.
Lucy our tour guide was fantastic. She greeted us in the foyer and we went to a comfortable van, with our driver Gary. We headed to see the Panda and had great viewings of four bears. From there we went to the Lama Temple. Lucy was very informative about all the Buda and the religion. We then went to the Bell Tower. The view was worth all the very steep steps you have climb to see the 🥁 drums. Then, after a short walk, it was off to lunch. Lucy ordered and it was some of the most delicious food we've eaten in China. After lunch we walked through the Hutong and went into the home of a lovely couple. He was an artist 🎨. Then it was the rickshaw ride ~ lots of fun. Last visit was to a Tea Party which was nice. Lucy was a fantastic guide. She was friendly, polite, lots of fun and a delight to spend the day with. Thank you Lucy and Gary 👍
We had a fantastic day with our tour guide Lucy !!! Saw the Pandas. Visited the Lama Temple. Might have slightly misaligned my Ying and Yang by stepping into the temple on the wrong foot … don’t get that wrong ;-) Great food at lunch time. Kung Pao chicken and a cold Yingang Beer. Just what we needed. This was a full on day out. Thanks Lucy !!! (The noisey kiwi)
As yesterday, today we had Sunny Ling as our tour guide who explained to us masterfully everything related to our visits to see the Pandas in the zoo, summer palace, Lama temple and temple of heaven; we are very grateful for his dedication and excellent treatment; we highly recommend this tour and this tour guide
