All-inclusive Private Day Tour To Mutianyu Great Wall

We booked a private tour for our young family children ages 5,3 & 1. Absolutely recommend our driver Kevin & Linda tour company. Our experience was so easy and straight forward from the beginning. We changed our hotel last minute Linda and her team were very accommodating. Kevin was our driver exceptional customer service helped us all the way up to the entry even pushed my kids pram. Delicious buffet to end our Journey. Will definitely recommend to families who have small children and to those who want to experience the Wall in small private groups. We had a wonderful private tour to the Mutianyu Great Wall! Our guide, Jessica, was excellent—very helpful, attentive, and thoughtful (always anticipating what we might need). She was punctual and spoke excellent English. Her explanations of the Great Wall’s history, as well as China’s geography, history, and Beijing’s culture, were clear, interesting, and engaging. Our driver was also very experienced and drove safely and smoothly. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the journey. I booked a private tour with Linda team. Davis was my driver. He was phenomenal. Punctual and his English was great. He explained the tour very well and stayed the entire time while I explore the Great Wall. I decided to visit during golden week and he was able to pick me up early from my hotel to beat the crowd. When I was leaving that is when the crowd was arriving. I was able to take great pics and explore without interruptions. I highly recommend. Exceptional company.

Easy way to tour the Great Wall. Our driver Davis was punctual and friendly. He picked us up at our hotel lobby. Smooth ride to Mutianyu. Plenty of time to explore the beauty and architecture of the Great Wall.

An absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Linda was a great tour operator, really responsive even with a 7 hour time difference when we were still in the uk. She also arranged Beijing airport transfers for us. The driver, Rose, was equally fabulous. She organised everything for us when we got to the wall and she even came up to the first bit with us, where she became our photographer! Thanks to her we managed to avoid the crowds and it only got busy when we were ready to come down. (On a toboggan - a must if you go, it was such a fun way to get back down!) I’d totally recommend this day trip if you’re going to the Great Wall, a lovely stress free way to see such an iconic structure.

Our driver was tentative, knowledgeable and thoughtful. Brought us to coffee shop for our 6am start time and bought us cookies too! Took tons of photos for us once we got to the wall. We thought had hire a personal photographer lol great guy. Highly recommended

Davis was our private driver, and he was excellent! So friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We requested a very early morning pickup at our hotel, and Linda arranged for Davis to pick us up right at 6:00 am. Davis got us to the Mutianyu Great Wall a few minutes before it opened for the morning, and he arranged our tickets for the open chair lift, the toboggan, and the round trip cable car. We were literally the very first people in line to take the toboggan down and we were able to go so fast without anybody in our way to slow us down! After our hike up the Hero Slope, Davis helped us with a good recommendation for food near the entrance to Mutianyu. The drive to and from the Great Wall was very comfortable and we enjoyed engaging and friendly conversation with Davis. I give this tour experience my very highest recommendation!

Went with my sister and 2 cousins . Everything went smoothly from the time I booked . Linda gave detailed instructions regarding the itinerary and pick up . Davis, our driver , was always on time . We understood him very well and he was very pleasant and always helpful . There was no line when we went up using the lifts and very ahold line for the toboggan on the way down . Davis gave us the tickets for Both . The Great Wall was not crowded and we had a lovely time taking photos and enjoyed the view . This was a hassle free tour and would highly recommend .

I booked that private tour in order to make ethis trip efficient and it was. My driver W Fei was waiting for me at the pickup location, he welcomed me and shared additional information on the program for the day and reminded me of the options I booked. He then drove us safely through the heavy morning traffic of Beijing towards the Great Wall. Due to the time we first went to have lunch and then continued to Mutianyu. W Fei parked the car as close as possible to the entrance, gave me the ticket, explained the security checks and walked with me to the cable car entrance. He then waited for me and drove us back to Beijing in the afternoon. I really enjoyed the formula and if I come back will most probably take the same provider.

I had a wonderful day out with a very considerate, knowledgeable, and friendly guide - Fred. As an older woman traveling alone China can be a bit daunting. Fred made the journey out to the Wall (a bucket list wish) possible. We rode the chairlift and he couldn't have been more considerate in helping me up the stairs, taking photos and taking me to great photo spots. Then a wonderful, large, traditional and very tasty lunch. Would rate this one of the very best tours I have taken 😀

Great tour with our guide Linda.. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to skip the line for the chairlift up and down the wall. Aftwreards we visit jade and silk factory and we even went shopping at a mall. She even gave us a lot of tips on how to enjoy our stay. Best tour I had so far.

Lovely day hiking up Mutianyu Great Wall. Jesica is very kind, knowledgeable and funny - she gave us a brief history lesson, speaks good English, accomdated our poor mandarin and was very accommodating! Our driver was patient and we were also taken to a tea tasting place which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this tour and we would like to come back to do it again with the wider family !

Linda the tour operator communicated with us night prior to our trip, she sent us all the trip info , driver name and car photo. It made us easy the next day to start the trip The next day our driver Selina arrived before time , she was waiting in the lobby with our name card to identify us. The car was very clean , filled with snacks for us on the way. She was excellent driver, made our ride comfortable. She helped is with all the tickets , accompany us to the chairlift ride, entry and all the way up tothe Great Wall. She also got us banana to while a way up just in case we were hungry at the top. As it tool some time for us reach back down at car, the lunch time was over all restaurant were closed. She took us to a restaurant, help us choose a vegetarian dishes, and the food was very delicious (we had Chinese authentic food) . Being an indian we are found traditional Chinese food but the restaurant she she took us was really nice , i enjoyed the dumplings, kung Pao chicken, sticky rice , she also had read tea with her, it was very tasty. Drop us back to the hotel . If you want to enjoy hassle free trip and first time visiting Great Wall. I recommend this booking. It saves you a lot time and effort. I recommend Selina our car driver/tour guide, she is very kind, polite, helpful and lovely person.

On our way back, at our request, Davis kindly took us to a silk store, where we could see and purchase high-quality silk clothing, and then to a traditional tea shop. There, we enjoyed a demonstration of the traditional Chinese tea ceremony, which was the perfect ending to an amazing day. If you are looking for excellent organization, outstanding communication, and truly professional service, Linda and her team are the perfect choice. It was one of the highlights of our trip to China. From the very first message, Linda was incredibly responsive, clear, and helpful with all the details and options. Everything was organized perfectly. Linda our driver/guide arrived right on time at our hotel, the vehicle was clean and comfortable, and the whole day felt relaxed and private no rushing, just exactly what we wanted. Mutianyu itself was stunning (far less crowded than we expected), and having the flexibility with the options made a big difference. We had plenty of time to walk the wall, take photos, and enjoy the views at our own pace. Linda made the logistics completely stress-free. Communication was excellent before and during the tour, and we felt well taken care of the entire time. Easy pickup at the hotel, and we had freedom to make adjustments to the pickup time the night before once we checked the breakfast time at our hotel. Our driver and guide was super kind, drove well and guided us to the top of the wall, explaining all that is available, a bit of the history and left us with a lot of time to explore on our own. This booking doesn't include the trip up&down the wall, but he helped us decide and organized the tickets for us so they were ready when we arrived. The trip from Beijing took about 70 minutes in a very comfortable car.

Great tour and a very good day for the family

We reached out to Linda to help arrange our Great Wall trip, and she was extremely prompt and responsive from the beginning. She managed to organise everything exactly the way we wanted. As a family of four travelling with two young children, we were initially worried about whether everything would go smoothly, but the entire experience was seamless. Our driver, John Woo, picked us up early in the morning and stayed with us throughout the day. He was patient, friendly and never rushed us at any point. He also helped us take some wonderful family photos at the Great Wall. We had an excellent day and would highly recommend Linda and John to anyone looking for a smooth and enjoyable Great Wall experience.

We had a wonderful experience visiting the Great Wall! Our driver Bentley really made the trip special. He spoke great English and really went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of! We even stopped at a tea house on the way back because we mentioned that we liked tea.

We had Jessica as our guide, and she was wonderful! She provided educational information in the car regarding the history of China and even a brief Chinese language lesson! Of course the Great Wall was amazing. She showed us the best spot for photos and provided more educational information. She took us to a tea ceremony on the way back. Excellent private Great Wall tour! Everything was easy to coordinate, and our guide, Fred, was fantastic. He spoke great English, shared lots of interesting information, and took amazing photos of us. We also enjoyed the tea house and jade market stops after the Great Wall—they made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend!

I was met by Angie at the hotel pick up and from the start I could tell my guide knew everything I needed to make the tour the best it could be. Angie listened to what I wanted from the tour and the next thing I knew I was experiencing this and more. I knew that I had to see the Great Wall and I opted for a personnel guide. This was the best decision I could have made. Angie not only made the tour memorable but guided me to all the best photo spots. This was a must see and my guide Angie made the tour seamless, i choose a start time late in the morning and gave me important information on how busy it would be, I took Angie advise and she was spot on. I was able to she everything I wanted and more with minimal or no queuing. She knew all the perfect picture spots and even gave me tip on getting in a different position for a better photo.
