All-inclusive Day Tours: Tiananmen Sq, Forbidden City, Great Wall

Rocky has a great tour guide and I’d definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Beijing. He knew how to avoid long queues, took great photos of us with his DSLR, was very informative, and made sure we had a seamless and smooth day.

This is a fantastic tour! Our guide, Rocky, is very professional in organising the itineraries, He is also very experienced and explained very well the history of those sites we visited today.

Amazing private tour for my wife, her brother and sister and myself and amazing tour guide Sunny. I can’t imagine how we could have covered this much territory on our own in one day by ourselves: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and the Great Wall. And we also made a deal with Lily, the owner of the tour company, to be dropped off at the Beijing airport for a flight to Xi'an. Sunny gave expert narration throughout the day, a huge factor in our appreciation of each site, and she went out of her way to help us with everything we needed. I would strongly recommend Sunny and Lily's Tour Company. Well worth the price!

Murphy was very professional and kind honestly. After travelling 75 countries I think he’s the best guide . He has a good English and very helpful.

arrive early, avoid chinese holidays if possible, expect lineups, dress appropriately. It was a nice attraction to visit.

Our only available day to go was a Monday and we were warned in advance that the Forbidden City is closed so we were going to the Summer Palace instead. Helen, our guide, was absolutely fantastic; she was knowledgeable, passionate and enthusiastic. If the review was solely based on her, it would be 5 star. As the Forbidden City was closed and because it had rained the day before, the Great Wall was utter chaos. 20, 000 people trying to get through 4 turnstiles , queuing up a near vertical hill, being pushed and jostled for 2 1/2 hours was utter hell. You could barely move once you had got the cable car up to the wall. I think if we had gone on another day , we would have had a totally different experience.

Excellent trip! We had a packed itinerary but didn't feel rushed. Our guide, Rocky, was super. Very knowledgeable with great excellent. The sights were amazing, with the Great Wall being the true highlight. Hotel pick up worked well.

Rocky was outstanding. An excellent guide and a brilliant day trip. Rocky coordinates the tour with precision and made everything seamless. His english was excellent and he added a lot of humor to the day. Told really interesting stories about Chinese history. Comfortable van. Note: if your hotel is not on the drop down list for the pick up location when making the booking. Just leave it blank and message them once you have booked. I did this and they responded promptly confirming they would collect us from our hotel.

This is an action-packed tour that covers many great highlights in the Beijing area. We were fortunate enough to have Helen as our guide. She is simply amazing and honestly the best guide we've ever had. She contacted us the night before to make sure we knew about the pick-up time; she is very informative and very friendly. She also has the perfect touch to keep her group organized and on track. We definitely recommend taking this tour if you are ever in Beijing. It is well worth it!

Our trip to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall included a stop at a jade store, buffet lunch, and a tea ceremony/store. Our fee included all of these things. It was about 12 hours and we only had 15 people with us, which was the perfect size. Rocky was a very funny guide who had a lot of interesting knowledge to share. He took lots of photos with us and shared them with us afterwards, which was a great perk.

Fantastic day to pack in all three sites. Rocky was the best guide… dude even let me use his power bank when my phone went dry. Highly recommend!!

This tour was wonderful. Our guide, Murply Leung, was very professional; he explained everything in excellent English throughout the entire trip and was very attentive to the whole group. Once again, we head back to our hotel feeling happy, having enjoyed the history and culture of this country.

Rocky took what could have been a grueling day and created an unforgettable adventure. Due to his expertise and quick thinking, we got to visit Tienanmen Square even though it was closed to the public for most of the day. Instead of waiting for two hours in line for the shuttle up to the Great Wall, he pulled together a way to get us up in our tour bus in minutes. He ensured we all got individual photos with his camera in immensely crowded places while making them appear as if we were practically alone at each location! We learned far more than we thought possible and were cracking up the entire time. There is NO way we could’ve fit all of this in on our own. Rocky’s a pro and it shows. Lunch and tea were true experiences instead of pit stops. The pickup was smooth and the bus was super comfy. I cannot recommend touring with Rocky enough. This tour was absolutely masterful.

Great visit first to Tiananmen Sq then Forbidden City and finally to the great wall. Tiffany Chen (our guide) was fantastic, very friendly and loads of knowledge she made the day very special. This was a day we will not forget in a hurry!

Our tour was punctual, well organized and engaging from beginning to end. Murphy was an excellent guide whose English was clear and fluent. He was knowledgeable, friendly and made the entire experience enjoyable. I also appreciated the additional stops at a jade gallery and for a traditional tea ceremony, which gave us opportunities to learn and shop. The bus was new, clean and comfortable, although the seating felt slightly smaller than what many American travelers may be accustomed to. Complimentary bottled water and candies were a thoughtful touch. This was a lovely experience, and I would absolutely recommend both the tour company and Murphy. I would happily book with them again!

The day was well organised and we managed to see everything listed except for the sledding down the Great Wall, the wait for that was too long. Our tour guide Murphy was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to make the most out of their time in Beijing.

Rocky was a great guide! He communicated the day before to verify hotel and set up pick up time. Day of he messaged to suggest seeing if the hotel had an umbrella to borrow. I would have never thought to ask that! They did and it was much needed in the morning! He accommodated everyone throughout the day & went above and beyond by taking individual photos of each person and giving them to us before we departed. Wonderful time! Completely recommend!!

This is the perfect highlights tour of Beijing. It is really fast-paced, so a good option for those that don't like lots of "free time" on whole day tours, and for people who move fast. Helen was an excellent guide and navigated the busy-ness of the Forbidden City with ease, but you do need to keep up because there are hundreds of groups navigating through the enormous complex at the same time. The Great Wall was an excellent way to spend the afternoon, and there was an option for everyone. You can do the full climb up to Tower 23 if you're quick (from the bottom of the cable car and back in less than 2 hours). We got back to downtown Beijing earlier than expected because of Helen's timeliness and organisation. She was an excellent tour guide and made this day really enjoyable. We also were lucky with our group who were super respectful to timing and following Helen's advice (like no bags into Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City). We moved through everything so much quicker and easier because of Helen!

The day with Rocky was Fantastic! He connected the day before to verify the hotel and pick up time & the day of texted earlier to recommend getting an umbrella from the hotel! I would have never thought of that!! It was a great day and perfect amount of time & planning! I would absolutely recommend touring with Rocky again!

What an excellent experience! Wendy was absolutely wonderful, keeping us moving but still giving us plenty of time to do things on our own. During the bus ride to the Great Wall Wendy told us about Beijing as well as the Great Wall history and even sang us a song! I would highly recommend this tour.
