2 Day Tour With Forbidden City, Great Wall Private/shared Options

We had a great time on this 2-day tour of Beijing! Our guide the first day was Yuan. He was very friendly and knowledgeable! We saw giant pandas at the Beijing Zoo, the Summer Palace, the hutongs, and the Temple of Heaven. The second day was great too! Our guide was Lucy. She was also very friendly and knowledgeable! She was very mindful of everyone's needs and gave us great advice on how to maximize our time at Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall. I highly recommend this tour with Yuan and Lucy as your guides!

It was the best money spent becase we had 2 days only to visit the more iconic places in Beijing, Linda was an amazing tour guide, she is the best and did our visit unforgettable, we could do more than we expected.

We spent two wonderful days with our tour guide, Rita. The entire tour was perfectly organized. The driver and vehicle were excellent—safe, comfortable, and very professional. The places we visited were all fascinating and breathtaking. The pace of the tour was ideal, especially for European travelers, allowing us to enjoy every stop without feeling rushed. Our guide, Rita, was simply outstanding! Her knowledge was incredible, her English was flawless, and she had a great sense of humor. She also had an excellent understanding of European culture and the expectations and needs of European guests, which made the experience even more enjoyable. All in all, this two-day tour was the perfect way to discover the most important sights—thanks in no small part to Rita. I don't just recommend this tour—it's an absolute must-do! 🙂

Ling Ling (aka Sunny) made our 2-day Beijing tour so rich and impactful! Her knowledge, flexibility and experience in and around Beijing allows for an efficient, engaging and amazing experience! She is able to articulate thousands of years of Chinese history to those of us who aren’t quite familiar - in a digestible manner. She knows the most appropriate agendas, allows us to focus on personal interest while experiencing the major highlights of the Beijing area. She is timely, organized, compassionate and very professional. Ling Ling gets you to the highlights of Beijing while allowing you the explorer or you the adventurer or you the shopper ample time, before crisply whisking you to the next stop! She even made us an amazing Peking Duck dinner reservation after our tour was completed! She will own her our tour company in time, if she so chooses. My family of 4 (two adults, two teens) booked the 2-day Beijing private tour. Lily was very communicative before our tour and our guide Sally was incredible. She was knowlegeable, kind and did a great job keeping my boys engaged throughout a busy two days. The tour was organized well and we traveled to each location in a very nice and comfortable mini-van. Lunch each day was delicious. If you have only a short amount of time to spend in Beijing, this tour is the way to go.

We had an amazing 3-day experience in China thanks to our wonderful guide Lu and our driver Lao Uan. From the very first day, they made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and completely taken care of. Lu was incredibly friendly, fun, patient, and knowledgeable. He explained so many fascinating things about Chinese history, traditions, and culture in such an engaging way that every place became even more special. He always had a smile on his face and never once got tired of us, even with all our delays, requests, and little “tourist moments.” He was extremely understanding and easygoing, which made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. A special thank you also to Lao Uan, who was always punctual, kind, calm, and professional. No matter how late we were sometimes, he always welcomed us warmly and made every journey comfortable and safe. What we appreciated most was not only their professionalism, but also how genuinely caring and warm they were as people. They truly made our trip unforgettable and turned these 3 days into beautiful memories we will always keep with us. We highly recommend Lu and Lao Uan to anyone visiting China, you could not ask for a better team!

What an amazing 2 days. Our fantastic tour guide SUNNY was the best. So friendly, on time and stayed back if we needed something. She was filled with lot's of knowledge & very patient with our group. Her organisational skills, keeping us on track was great. Nothing was too much for her. We saw everything and more. She was a part of our group by the end. We took the one day tour covering T Square, Forbidden city and Mutianyu great wall. Our guide Jeffrey made the tour enjoyable, informative and was very accommodative of the groups requests (13 overall) including ours for vegetarian food. We are really appreciative of his support throughout. Despite time constraints, he covered all sights reasonably well. If I were to highlight some improvements, it is the cramped seating on the van for those on the tall side, though he quickly resolved mine. Thank you Jeffrey!

We had a wonderful time with Maggie, a perfect tourist guide with focussed professionalism. She is knowledgeable with very good English. Our driver, Mr Lee, was very friendly and courteous. We enjoyed every moment with them.

With only 2 days in Beijing, we wanted to cover as much as possible. We didn’t regret our decision as Wendy was an amazing guide, taking excellent pictures and making sure we always were well fed (too much food, Wendy lol) while Mr. Yang was a fantastic driver. Their timing was perfect - we visited the Great Wall, Forbidden City, and Summer Palace without the heavy crowds, which made the experience so much more enjoyable. Wendy was knowledgeable and friendly, and Mr. Yang made every ride smooth and comfortable in a very clean vehicle, they even helped us move hotels. Everything felt well-organized and stress-free (just watch yourself at the usual tourist trap sales spots Jade/tea presentations). We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and therefore highly recommend them both.

For two days, we explored the Ming Tombs, the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace with Linda Sun as our guide and Mr. Yang as our driver. Linda's empathy and willingness to help us was incredible, as was her willingness to explain every detail and attentive to our needs. A true luxury, as was Mr. Yang with his impeccable van and his always ready assistance. They were very open to last-minute changes and, above all, their speed in resolving issues. I highly recommend them.

Kevin was an amazing guide. He was very warm, friendly and helpful. He was always attentive to our needs and able to adapt the tour to our preferences and interests. We wanted to learn about Chinese history and understanding modern life in China, and Kevin taught us a lot. Kevin was very knowledgeable about all of the tourist sites we visited, including the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace. His English is very strong. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, but also very kind and attentive, making sure we had a great time. Being a vegetarian, Maggie made sure I could enjoy lunch in a nice local restaurant, she really went out of her way to make us comfortable while providing a lot of information and answering all our questions. Cant recommend her enough! And our driver was excellent as well (sorry forgot his name) we felt very secure at all times.

Booked the private tour to immerse my school children with Chinese culture. Was attended by Jeffrey ( tour guide) and Mr Yang (Driver). They were attentive to our needs and helpful throughout the tour. Strongly recommend if you want a more customised experience to learn more about China.

I never write reviews normally but for this tour I will make an exception. I was quite nervous travelling to Beijing. I was travelling in with my two boys aged 9 and 7 as well as another family with two children aged 4 and 7. I didn’t know how they would handle the sight seeing and long days but I really need not have worried. Our guide Lisa was amazing. She was great with the kids and was very informative answering all our questions and more. I had also been worried about the food as I had heard a few horror stories and had settled on the fact that my kids may have to live on fast food for the few days we were in Beijing. I need not have Been concerned. The food we had was delicious. Lisa took us to two authentic Chinese restaurants while on our trips and ordered for us which meant we could try lots of different cuisine and my two boys loved everything...well almost! The Great Wall was defiantly the highlight for the boys. We took the chairlift up and then the Toboggan down which was great fun. We added in an acrobatic show one evening and went to see the Pandas and I would recommend both of these, but be prepared to be exhausted. Finally I fully anticipated feeling stressed but having Lisa took the stress out of everything and was worth every single penny we spent. All in all I could not rate this service highly enough. My family and I enjoyed every last minute of this trip and Lisa made this experience one we will never forget.

We were a group of 4 adults and 4 children aged 4-9, after research we decided to choose Lily’s Beijing Tour for a 2 day private tour, they also arranged our airport pickup and drop off! We were able to tailor our tour to cover what we wanted. Which included Tiananmen Square, forbidden city, Summer palace, the Panda House, the Great Wall & Acrobatic show. Everything ran smoothly and our guide Lisa was amazing, she had planned everything so we made the most of our time, had fabulous knowledge of every place, even helped with good photo opportunities! She was also great with the kids! They loved her!! I would highly recommend this tour and would definitely ask for Lisa again if we return! Thank you for making our trip to Beijing so special!

We have just completed a private two day tour with Helen our guide and her driver. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Helen has a excellent knowledge of the history of Beijing and its attractions. Her english was of a high standard and she has a lovely fun personality. Helen is very friendly and helpful and having her to ourselves meant we got the full benefit of this. We have done a lot of Beijing attractions in just two days but don’t feel exhausted. Covered way more than if we tried it on our own or with a group. Helen took us each day to different local restaurants for lunch and both were very good and had local flavour in the atmosphere and food. The car was very clean and a luxury model professionally driven. Beijing traffic is for a foreigner unpredictable and having a competent driver was very reassuring. Can’t speak highly enough of our tour. Thank you Helen and driver

Jerry was such an incredible guide for our two days in Beijing. We got to see more than we ever could have on our own. The Forbidden City and Great Wall were highlights. Speaking of the Great Wall, he took us to a section that wasn’t nearly as crowded and it made the experience so much better. The entire two days were something we will never forget. Being with the local guide who speaks English makes a huge difference when you’re in Beijing. Having a driver is so helpful as part of this tour too. We had the best food when we were with Jerry. He knows the most incredible local spots.

I just spent two days with Linda. Not only did we see all of the “must-see” spots around Beijing, but Linda is a wealth of historical information and I learned so much about China’s fascinating history. She knows all of the “short cuts” to avoid excessive crowds, our driver was courteous and exactly where he needed to be on time, and we went to legitimate shops to buy jade! I highly recommend this tour and Linda as your guide. It was an excellent experience!

Linda was our tour guide for both days. She was very nice, easy to understand and very knowledgeable. She knew when to go to each site to avoid the crowds and easily modified the trip for shopping, extra pictures and food as we progressed through the day...the car service was perfect and dropped off and picked us up right on time. This saved hours of our time since we didn’t have to wait on busses and queue lines to get to the next location. I would use this service again and highly recommend it to others. Great value for the money and you get to see more sites than bus tours or touring alone. Definitely five stars!!!
