The Northeast region is cool in the summer, and during the summer holidays, it attracts many tourists from across the country, causing accommodation costs to increase by 1.5 to 2 times the usual 500-600 yuan. However, winter temperatures can drop below -10 degrees Celsius, so it's not recommended unless you love the sea in winter.

New hotel right next to Hyatt and Aloft. The area around is super boring. Nothing to do .
The most digitalized hotel that I have ever seen
A new hotel (6 months old when I stayed). Ultra modern rooms, large with a comfy bed & pillows. Electronic lighting, curtains & privacy screens. Modern fixtures in the bathroom (including bidet). Very comfortable and has the new exhibition centre next door. The best buffet breakfast selection I have ever seen. Running tracks along the waterfront outside the hotel. When back in Yantai I will stay here again. The hotel is in a relatively new neighbourhood so as external facilities are developed this will get better & better.
