Amazing experience at the Tianjin Ritz-Carlton! Fantastic rooms with all the comfort you need. Friendly staff with excellent service. Great breakfast and meals at the lobby restaurant. Located close to all the downtown sights. The building is a sight itself too. Would absolutely book again!

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Megan Zhang, Club Lounge Manager, and Jerry Shang of the Club Lounge team at The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin. Above all, I would like to thank Megan for making every moment of our stay memorable—from the very first check-in experience, throughout our time in the Club Lounge, and all the way until our departure. There was never a single moment when we felt overlooked. Her dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail ensured that we enjoyed one of the most memorable hotel experiences I have ever had. This trip was especially meaningful to me because it coincided with my birthday, and it was also my mother's very first visit to China. Tianjin was a completely new destination for both of us, and thanks to Megan's care and hospitality, it became an unforgettable and truly magical experience. As I was traveling with my mother, I asked numerous questions about local attractions, sightseeing opportunities, and dining recommendations. Despite what I can only imagine is a demanding schedule serving many elite members and guests, Megan consistently provided thoughtful, detailed, and heartfelt guidance. What impressed me most was that she did not simply recommend restaurant names; she carefully prepared printed directions, marked locations on maps, suggested signature dishes at each restaurant, and even explained the most efficient routes and distances. This level of personalized service was genuinely touching and far beyond my expectations. During evening cocktail hours, she also introduced several cocktails she had personally developed, prepared them herself, and repeatedly checked to ensure that we were enjoying them. These interactions never felt scripted or obligatory. Rather, they reflected a sincere kindness and genuine passion for hospitality that came naturally from her character. It was also evident that Megan possesses extensive professional knowledge and takes genuine pride and joy in her work. Her enthusiasm, expertise, and leadership were visible throughout the Club Lounge operation. I would also like to extend my gratitude to Jerry Shang. Every time we visited the Club Lounge, he welcomed us with warmth and professionalism. What stood out most was his ability to remember guests and provide service that felt personal and authentic. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care contributed greatly to our experience. Furthermore, I believe the outstanding culture within the Club Lounge reflects Megan's leadership. Every team member we encountered was courteous, professional, and eager to help. It was clear that the team takes pride in delivering exceptional service. As a Marriott Bonvoy member for more than a decade, having held Platinum Elite and Titanium Elite status and currently being a Lifetime Gold member, I have stayed at many excellent hotels around the world. I can confidently say that The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin ranks among the very best. More importantly, it will be remembered not merely as a great hotel, but as a place that created extraordinary memories for my mother and me. Best Hotel ever been to. Kind of :-) The interior of the hotel is French style which is beautiful. The outside of the street by the river and the cafe gallery cafe is also brilliant

I am a loyal Marriott member that have stayed in many different ritz Carlton hotels around the world and this 1 is certainly the worst. Room in poor condition. Damp smell on the pillow and bedsheet. Reception also vehemently refused to add my booking to my Marriott account for no reason. I would definitely not stay in ritz Carlton Tianjin again in the future.
