There are places that impress you with their beauty, and there are places that leave a mark on your heart. The Peninsula Beijing belongs firmly to the latter. From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, Tom and his team demonstrated a level of hospitality that felt increasingly rare in today’s world. It was not found in grand gestures or rehearsed smiles, but in the countless small moments of genuine care, attentiveness, and kindness. Remarkably.the the ability to make one’s feel not merely welcomed, but understood. In their presence, one feels a quiet sense of ease. is extraordinary is that it feels rooted in something much older and deeper than modern luxury. One senses the inheritance of centuries of Chinese culture—of respect, harmony, dignity, and consideration for others—carried forward into the present day with remarkable grace. I found myself reflecting on how astonished Confucius and the great Chinese philosophers might be to witness how these ancient values have evolved into an art form of hospitality that feels almost mystical in its execution. The Peninsula Beijing is more than a world-class hotel; it is a living expression of a civilization’s enduring belief that caring for others is among the highest virtues. By the time we left, Beijing no longer felt like a destination. It felt like home, and Tom and Joanna, and there exceptional team felt like the reason why. Special keys are given to special people …

Outstanding service. The rooms are large and luxurious. The employees are friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast buffet is delicious. If you want the perfect hotel in the city center, this is the hotel to book. We could walk to shopping areas. I want to compliment Kianto who always went above and beyond to help us. Would stay here again!
This visit stayed five nights here in their Beijing Suite. Great service with deep local insights by the conceirge team. Room was lovely and spacious with two sections and two entrances, separating the reading room and other areas. Housekeeping was always quick and efficient. Breakfast was alright at The Lobby or Jing Restaurant. Dinner at their Jing Restaurant & Bar was decent.
There are not enough words to express what a wonderful time I’ve had here. I automatically got an upgrade to a huge suite which was by far the most luxurious hotel stay I’ve had in my whole life. Due to the weather being colder than I’d anticipated I ended up spending the at more time in my room that I’d planned and it made it even better that I had a palace of a dream to stay in. The room was impeccable clean, great small. Technically advanced etc. I ordered room service every single day (which I don’t tend to do when I travel because I normally enjoy local food) but room service was so amazing that I couldn’t stop. Staff was incredibly nice and kind and welcoming and I felt so at home! I will always come back here when I return to Beijing. Won’t even consider anywhere else. It’s a travel gals dream!!! Also check out isn’t until 12 so I get to lounge around on my last day. SUPERB!!!!!!
Our recent stay at The Peninsula Beijing was nothing short of exceptional, setting a new standard for luxury and personalized service. From the moment we arrived in Beijing to our departure, every detail was meticulously handled, making our trip truly memorable. The seamless airport transfer service was our first introduction to the hotel's impeccable hospitality. A staff member was waiting for us as we disembarked, guiding us through immigration and baggage claim before escorting us to a private car. This thoughtful gesture, arranged by the hotel, immediately put us at ease after a long flight. Upon arrival, we were whisked directly to our room for a private check-in, and the hotel graciously accommodated our request for an early arrival at 10 a.m. The room itself was a masterpiece of design and functionality. Every amenity was thoughtfully placed, and the layout of the space was both elegant and practical, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The hotel's prime location, just a short stroll from the APM Mall and Wangfujing Street, was perfect for exploring the city. However, it was the personal touches that truly set The Peninsula Beijing apart. The welcome macarons were a delightful treat, and we were deeply touched when the staff, noticing how much our son enjoyed them, thoughtfully prepared an extra plate for him. Furthermore, the staff's kindness and attention to our five-year-old son were heartwarming. They went out of their way to provide him with games and activities, ensuring he had a fun and engaging stay. This level of care and consideration for their youngest guests is a testament to their commitment to family-friendly luxury. To top it all off, we were granted a late check-out at 7 p.m., allowing us to relax and enjoy our final day without any rush. Our experience at The Peninsula Beijing was, without a doubt, an excellent one. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly luxurious and personalized stay in Beijing.
