Sofitel Harbin

The room itself is good—spacious, clean, and the adjustable bed is a nice touch that actually makes a difference for comfort. Sleep quality was solid. However, the temperature control is centralized, likely managed at district level, so the room tends to be too warm most of the time with limited control from the guest side. The lounge is average, nothing particularly impressive. Service there feels a bit underwhelming—at times it seems understaffed. We even ran into a situation where whiskey was unavailable, so had to settle for beer instead, which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast is decent, covers the basics well enough. Overall service across the hotel is acceptable. On the plus side, the location is convenient—right next to a mall, which makes casual shopping and meals very easy. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few service and facility limitations. Still worth considering, but with some expectations managed.

Nice hotel, Selina and Raymond from the front desk were particularly helpful and friendly, and the concierge Jules was also very nice and helpful. Overall really enjoyed my stay here

Just spent a week in Harbin at the Sofitel. Very nice place more than reasonably priced. The entire staff was fantastic. Nothing but friendly competent people who went out of their way to help. As a non Chinese speaker I had no trouble getting anything I needed or wanted. Nice location as well, beautiful park across the street for taking a walk or run or to sit and relax! There is a shopping mall next door with plenty of shop and restaurants. A few minutes away is a subway station so you can get around easily. Very nice!

I had a wonderful experience over at Sofitel Wanda harbin. It is just located beside a mall with supernarket. Less than a minute walk. I was assisted by Bella during check-in and she helped me by doing a room change due to the weather change which causes the room to be warm. She made the whole process almost smooth with no error. I appreciate her patience and explanation during the process. But there was a staff named Victoria who was unfriendly and didnt bother to assist us. She seems like a snob and her attitude was soo bad that my relatives were upset with her. Another person to mention was Alice from the executive lounge. Very helpful and polite individual that made our holiday amazing! What made this hotel great was the staff. As i was travelling with two elderly with limited mobility, they offered many assistance and small little action that captured our heart. A big thank you to all of you and will definitely return soon! A big shout to Rachel who assisted me on an item that left in the hotel and making delivery to my next destination hotel!
