Reviews
I’ve stayed at this hotel many times. The rooms are very good and the hotel is quite luxurious especially when looking at the value. But I will say the service level has gone down from years ago. I think this may have to do with the years post Covid. English is very difficult now and it seems the shops and restaurants are not very busy. When I went for dinner on a Wednesday night, they only had four items on the menu available. I’m just assuming this is because they are not busy enough to have the full-blown menu they used to have but if you’re going to stay in Tangshan this is a good choice.
Nice room, very comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast.
An incredible jogging lane right in front of the hotel
Best hotel I ever been. We lived with family for 1 year and was a pleasure to stay in Shangri La hotel in Tangshan
The hotel overall is pretty nice and the room is comfortable. It's not quite as nice as another Shangri La I've stayed at so my expectations were not quite satisfied. One major problem that knocks stars off of my review: the Wi-Fi is horrible, which is a major problem for a business traveler like me. I need to stay connected with a reliable, high speed connection. The WiFi at Shangri La Tangshan is neither. It's so frustrating. So much so that I'll seek out another hotel if I return to this city.
Excellent hotel and the service is very, very good. The breakfast selection was fantastic! I had made to order seafood conger and noodle soup with sheep's entrails.
