A truly deserving 5-star hotel experience overall. I gave 4 stars only because the check-in process wasn’t as smooth as I expected, but the team handled the situation professionally and fixed everything promptly. The breakfast was exceptional with great variety and quality. Special mention to Sophia and the entire hotel staff — everyone was clearly well trained, attentive, and made the stay feel comfortable and memorable.
On my 5star lounge crawl in Beijing... The lounge bar I wanted to visit wasn't open till 7pm so opted to have a quick beer in the lobby lounge... All very pleasant.
Our stay at the Rosewood Beijing was wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and very elegant the only downside is that they feel a bit dark. Other than that, everything was exceptional.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with incredible quality and variety, and the service throughout the hotel was outstanding. The spa was WOW truly one of the best parts of the hotel. The pool area and overall aesthetics of the property are absolutely stunning. Definitely one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed at in Beijing.
While the breakfast options lack some of the healthier and more exciting options, the hotel itself offers excellent rooms, terrific and responsive service, and a great vibe. I stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed every day. The gym is terrific and the restaurants will blow your mind.
There is construction at the present time so be aware if you are sensitive.

Getting a simple coffee order here felt like running a full 7-game playoff series.
I tried very hard to speak in Chinese, yet somehow it took three staff members to finally get it… still wrong. Great teamwork, questionable execution.
Breakfast buffet highlight:
A guest vaping openly like it’s a locker room, not a dining area.
Staff response? Full defensive breakdown. No one stepped in. Zero calls. Play on.
For a brand that positions itself as luxury, this felt more like missed rotations, blown coverage, and no court awareness.
Rosewood, you’re supposed to be championship caliber —
