Pros: Have chosen this hotel based on my membership with Marriott. Check in was quick (late evening though) and was upgraded to a business floor room on 18th floor. Room big, nice decor well equipped. Big breakfast area with good selection of foods. Long but bit narrow swimming pool with nice view of Beijing from the 27th floor. Cons: Spin dryer in swimming pool can be definitely improved. You need to hold it whole time you set to get your things out of it. Otherwise device will simply fall off the table. Bad management. Overall, fitness are is old and needs refreshment. My room was facing the 3rd ring road and noise was strong. Ask for the room facing the other side, if you are noise sensitive. Overall: nice but old hotel, location is good, service is quick and very descent breakfast. Mall is next door, so big choice of food and shops nearby. Subway Line 10 is 100 meters away.

We stayed at this hotel as a family for six nights and had a wonderful experience. As Marriott Platinum members, we were treated exceptionally well and received outstanding service throughout our stay. We felt very welcome and well taken care of from beginning to end. We highly recommend this hotel—it is definitely worth staying here!
Renaissance Beijing is a great hotel to stay in Beijing city centre. The hotel is huge and luxurious. The rooms are big and very modern with open bathroom including tub and shower. The breakfast is enormous and several options with lot of live stations making fresh food. Definitely a place recommend to stay.
Great room, clean. Great location due to its proximity to train station and a mall beside. Really nice concierge, Michael Hu, he helped us book a restaurant. Minus 2 stars for service as the receptionists during the weekday morning shift were not able to speak english at all.
The corner room was very nice, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located near a mall, which made dining and shopping easy. There were not many tourists, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was adequate but nothing memorable, and there was no hot chocolate available. The executive lounge offered food that was mediocre and could benefit from more Western options, although the staff were very friendly and attentive. During my two-night stay, there was no welcome note or snacks in the room. Overall, the property provides a comfortable stay with a good location, but improvements in food quality and in-room amenities would enhance the experience.
