Great value for a layover, despite a few hiccups

· Convenient location – McDonald’s and a good neighborhood shop within walking distance.
· Thoughtful amenity – earplugs provided in the room (they knew about the noise!).
Disliked · · Plane noise – noticeable since it’s close to the runway, though earplugs helped.
· Payment issues – my online card was declined multiple times, which was frustrating and caused unnecessary stress.
A very good Hotel and best value in Beijing. Excellent shuttle, large rooms,good aircon, very good restaurant with great breakfast buffet and top class evening offerings.
As usual in China, only one English TV channel and a poor one at that.
McDonald's right across road if you are desperate.

Located below the lobby level, the restaurant looks a bit old, but the food was satisfying. We ordered the lunch set menu, and everything was good — I especially loved the scrambled eggs. There were 10 dishes in total, including beef, chicken, shrimp, fish, green vegetables, tofu soup, and fresh fruit slices. The food was tasty, and the portions were generous.
I come for Auto Show, location and price is pretty good. Yet, I cant remember when the last time I saw this spring mattress. I thought that they are not available for sale any more. Its like coming back in early 90th. The room though was nice and clean. The staff doesn't speak English, but in most of the cases willing to help. Why did I put two? The two stars killer: come down to reception, was next in line. Looking at the bus that just arrived with new group of Chinese tourists, and thinking, I a lucky not come 1 minute later:) Yet, the head of the group with bunch of passports at her hands, just cut in a front of me and other guy who was already talking to reception desk assistant, without saying a word, The assistant took all the passports, and with the smile started talking to her in Chinese. I could not handle my anger, and cut this off immediately with my question that literally took 25 seconds to be answered, and left. But the situation is unacceptable, especially for the Hotel worker.
Very convenient hotel for a stay between flights – that was exactly my case. The price–quality ratio is excellent. It is located close to the airport and offers its own transport, which makes getting there easy and convenient.
The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, fully in line with what you would expect from a modern hotel. The staff is polite and helpful.
The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety of tasty options.
