Hotel Eclat Beijing

I booked a suite with terrace. It's spetember, 30 degrees during the day and the heat builds up in the mall and you can only use the terrace in the morning. So it's useless. Unbearable heat after the am, even at night when it's cool outside. I wouldn't have booked the hotel had I known I couldn't use the terrace. Shower bathtub is form over function. Water everywhere. Cool concept, but non functional for us.

Many of the benefits advertised on the hotel’s website were simply not available during my stay, including “Afternoon Delights” and “Happy Hour.” According to the hotel staff, the lounge had actually ceased to exist several years ago, yet these benefits were still being advertised online at the time of my booking and stay. After I complained to Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), the hotel’s website was subsequently updated and the references to “Afternoon Delights” and “Happy Hour” were removed. This appears to confirm that the information advertised previously was outdated. What is particularly disappointing is that, despite SLH forwarding my complaint to the hotel management and specifically asking them to contact me directly, I have never received any response from the hotel. Overall, I found the discrepancy between the advertised benefits and the actual services provided very disappointing, especially as these advertised amenities were one of the reasons I chose this hotel.

Amazing stay, would absolutely come back Just got back from Hotel Éclat Beijing and honestly we loved it. We had a suite with a terrace and wow, it was huge, gorgeous, easily one of the nicest rooms we've ever stayed in. Big thanks to Daniel, the GM. Super friendly and welcoming, and he told us all sorts of cool stories about the hotel and its owner, which really made the stay feel special. The art everywhere is incredible, the whole place feels like a gallery. And the staff (shoutout to Leo at reception) were on top of everything. Ask for something and it's done in seconds. Service was just brilliant. Can't recommend it enough. We'll be back!

Had a truly unique stay at Hotel Éclat Beijing, easily one of the most creative and visually memorable hotels I’ve experienced. Located inside the striking pyramid-shaped Parkview Green complex, the hotel blends modern architecture, luxury hospitality, and an incredible private art collection throughout the property. I stayed in the Grand Deluxe Lagoon Suite, which was unlike any hotel room I’ve stayed in before. The suite featured a private semi outdoor plunge pool inside the pyramid structure, creating a very special atmosphere. The room also had subtle Harry Potter inspired details including themed decor, books, robes, and small touches that made the experience fun while still feeling luxurious and sophisticated. One of the highlights of the hotel is the impressive art collection, including works by Salvador Dalí displayed throughout the building. Every part of the hotel feels carefully curated and full of character. Service was warm and attentive, and the location in Beijing’s CBD was very convenient. Overall, this hotel offers a completely different experience from traditional luxury hotels and is perfect for anyone who appreciates art, design, and unique stays.
