I stayed at this hotel once, and up until checkout, the experience was very good. The room and food were great, and I left with a positive impression of the stay itself. However, that changed completely at the front desk during checkout.
I was one of only two people in line, and after the staff member finished helping the guest ahead of me, another staff member brought over a Caucasian-looking guest and allowed them to cut in front of me without any acknowledgment or explanation. They completely ignored me, and I was honestly speechless. Whether intentional or not, the way this was handled felt disrespectful and discriminatory.
No guest should be made to feel invisible at checkout.
Higher then expected. Bravo. Standing out from most hotel is the perfect black out curtain, not even a dot of morning light pass thru.
It was my 2nd stay here after 6 years. Decided to stay because of proximity to the airport. Wangjing area is nice and calm. Hotel is old but very well maintained. Enjoyed the breakfast very much. Will definitely consider staying again.
Had a good experience here. We had a non-smoking room, but it still smelled like someone had been smoking in there. And there was a funky smell in the hallway. But everything was clean and ready. The staff's service was excellent!

Rooms are great and I had a great view. Beautiful bathroom and comfy beds.
Breakfast had a great selection of Western and Chinese dishes along with a great coffee machine that does lattes etc.
Staff was always great. Close to several restaurants nearby.
Will most likely stay here again when visiting Beijing.
