We had an exceptional experience thanks to Ceddric Xu, Senior Assistant Manager at Cordis in Beijing Capital Airport. When two of my friends lost their passports after a Didi ride, Cedric went far beyond what anyone could expect. He personally guided us through the entire process, helped us report the loss to the authorities, made countless phone calls to track down the passports, and followed up every step of the way. What impressed us most was how genuinely invested he was in helping. He made sure nothing was overlooked and treated the situation as if it were his own concern. Thanks to his dedication, patience, and persistence, my friends were reunited with their passports. Outstanding customer service like this is rare. Cedric Xu is an absolute superstar and a true asset to the hotel!! We are incredibly grateful for everything he did and will always remember his kindness and professionalism.

Nice hotel. Very convenient if you need to take an early flight from terminal 3. They have 24 bus to the terminal.
We had a wonderful one-night stay at Cordis Hotel. We booked it through trip.com which included a free breakfast. The breakfast was a delicious buffet and quite the feast catering to Asian and western tastes. There was lots of choose from and all very good! The room was a comfortable king bed with large bathtub. The shower was enclosed with a stand alone bathtub which would get everything in that room wet if used. It is separated from the toilet and sinks so that is good. I did notice the air conditioning did not work. After we came back from breakfast the room was super hot since the sun came out. The air con was set to 15 but the room stayed at 25 degrees. As for the facilities, there is a spa, large pool and decent gym. I did not use it so I cannot comment on them. I also ate at their lounge restaurant on the main floor and the food was western and very good but pricey for China. As for the staff, only the front desk people could speak English, not in the restaurants. Check in was great and, David, the porter although didn’t speak English, you could tell he was very friendly and carried our luggage to the room and at the end of our stay, to the shuttle. the cleaning staff was very kind and greeted us in the hall. What was weird is that upon check out, I was somewhat forced to review them with 5 stars on trip.com The guy at the front desk took a picture of the review that he wrote himself praising himself and submitted it for me. I thought that was odd. I was going to rate it 5-stars anyways but doing it on my behalf and mentioning his name when I just met him at check out felt dishonest. As for the shuttle, it was free and convenient. If you can, take it as the hotel is very far from the airport at least from terminal 2. Terminal 3 I think is a 15 min walk. A regular taxi charged us 40 yuan whereas Didi is cheaper appears to be around 30 yuan. Also there is a very good mall 15 min away with lots of restaurants and shops inside after you walk past the park. If I have another layover, I would definitely stay there again.
Even though our stay was only a few hours during transit, we were very happy to enjoy Peking duck and dim sum at the hotel restaurant. We were also able to get a good night’s sleep and rest well. At the end, since the shuttle bus was not running to Terminal 3, you kindly arranged a taxi for us free of charge. Thank you very much!
One night stay in transit. This is by far the best airport hotel I stayed through decades of global travel. Clean, modern, spacious, and well equipped. Even the breakfast was excellent with some childhood staples for an oldtime Beijinger like me. The value is hard to beat.
