A great tour in Bath getting to know some of the history. Simon our guide was excellent , so friendly and knowledgeable and took us to many of the highlights of Bath. Would definitely recommend this tour as it’s a fun way to spend a couple of hours.

My wife and I loved the walking tour The Bad of Bath with Simon! He was very personable and we learned many things about the history of Bath that we had not heard of before. The pace of the tour was comfortable. Simon was careful not to set too brisk a pace and there were plenty of opportunities to sit along the tour route. Simon's stories about the historic people who lived in Bath and made it into what it is today made the history of Bath interesting and fun to learn. We would highly recommend this tour if you are interested in learning about the colorful history of Bath.

What a wonderful experience! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind to us and we were so impressed that Simon was willing (and more than able) to provide us with an exclusive ‘tour for 2’ with such an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun couple of hours. We would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about the alternative side of Bath, and feel that we have learned a lot more about a city we are very fond of. The tour description says it shows the darker side of Bath, but personally I’d say it explores the true face of a city which in its heyday, during the 18th century and early 19th century, had become the place to be for the wealthy and aristocrats of the country. The tour covers all the must-see places of Bath, and some lesser-known, at a very comfortable pace but instead of stopping at the mere recollection of historical and architectural facts Simon goes further narrating lesser known events, personalities, habits and stories which taken together allow you to get a real sense of what the city looked and felt like back then, both in its most fashionable and in its more sinful aspects. The tour is perfectly suited for non-native speakers as Simon takes great care to be fully understood by everyone in the group, plus he is a fantastic narrator and at times it felt as if we were enjoying one of those very well paced documentaries you watch on TV rather than a guided tour!

Simon was wonderful. He was funny, informative, and a wealth of knowledge about the dark side of Bath. He lead us on an interactive journey of old Bath. We would recommend this tou.

Simon was fever friendly and an entertaining story teller. We learned things about Bath that weren't in the travel guides! His vibrant descriptions transported us back in time to imagine life in the 1700s. Highly recommend. Thank you!

An entertaining morning where Simon took care to include everyone and answered our questions. He was very knowledgable and kept the morning fun while delivering an amazing amount of history. It was well worth the price, and Simon spent longer with us than the advertised time.

Had a great experience with Simon, our guide. The tour started promptly at 10am and spent the next two hours walking through Bath and hearing wonderful stories about the ne’er do wells and miscreants of Bath. Simon also hit on the architectural highlights of the City as well as tidbits on Bridgerton and Jane Austin. Overall, it was a wonderful tour, one which I’d probably redo the next time I’m in Bath.

Excellent 2 hour walking tour of the fun and scandalous side of Bath. Simon was exceptionally good as our guide. Informative, funny (dad jokes), and friendly. We have been on many walking tours in the UK, US, and EU, and this rates right up there with the best.

We had a very entertaining few hours on the tour. It gave you all the regular information about Bath, but with heaps more 'real life of the times' stories. Would recommend if you want just something a bit different.

Simon is an excellent Tour Guide. 'Bad of Bath' is a fun and different way to experience the highlights of Bath without all the cliche's of the other tours. This tour does include all the 'must sees' but also included some fun, witty, and some slightly irreverent truths behind the Bath 'facade' of propriety.

A great way to explore key sites by bringing to life people from the past: the famous to the infamous. A good 2 hours delving into the hidden gems (and muck) of Bath.

The tour was informative and interesting, providing many details that are not presented on more general tours such as the bus tour. The information was presented in a light-hearted fashion with plenty of opportunities for asking questions. I felt that I knew Bath and its history in a more detailed way than previously.

Simon, our guide was engaging and a fountain of knowledge of all the architecture, history and "naughtiness" in Bath's journey through the Georgian era. The 2 hours went really quickly and was filled with facts and humour. Would recommend 100%
