Hotel has been refurbished, hallway, doors and rooms look great. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms - nice, clean, enough room, shower is good, black out blinds. Enough sockets and usb charging points. The room gets hot and doesn't have hair conditioner. If you are wanting a good sleep / with kids, make sure your room is not facing the cinema. Noise - the corridor is very noisy, doors must be thin. The outside noise is terrible if you are facing the leisure complex. Noise from cars, revving engines, young adults hangout, music, socialising, one playing tennis at 2am! General noise is done by 12pm, but we had someone who wanted to carry on until 4am!! Reception night staff were great and asked them to stop at different intervals but it was tiring. We were given a free late check out to compensate. On site restaurant was ok, nothing to go back for but filled the hole. Darts are £20 for an hour if you wanted to play. The tables were clean, staff friendly. Breakfast restaurant was nice, full English and continental. Would have the breakfast again. Starbucks on site which is handy. Bar looked big and comfortable but we didn't use it. Pool - the pool itself if nice, not big but perfect size for kids and a little swim. Changing rooms smelt and could do with an upgrade. No phones poolside even if you are not swimming which I thought was a good security feature. Parking - free, lots of it and electric ionity chargers if needed. Entertainment - opposite (walking distance 60s) is a leisure facility of cinema cineworld, small arcade games, escape room, mini golf, sticky table pub. Would I stay again - only if there was no other options and only because of the noise.

Im writing this whilst i still have 1 night left. Absolutely amazing hotel. I was abit apprehensive after reading some negative reviews but dont be! I have an electric car and the charger charged a full charge in under and hour-ionity. At check in there were some lovely ladies assisting us. They were so friendly helping us with our cotswolds itinerary and this hotel is the perfect location. Parking ample. Our room was humongous I mean huge! We had air conditioning and that was a massive bonus in this hot weather. The breakfast was yummy and we had dinner at the on site restaurant and this also pleasantly surprised us. In the area there is a cinema and arcade, crazy golf, bowling and laser tag so lots for kids and teens. Our car unfortunately caught a dead pigeon on the car grill whilst driving and the wonderful staff were so helpful in taking it out for us. For me- 5 star for food, convenience, charging, the room and most importantly the staff. Thank you!
Enjoyed the stop over stay very much. Late check in was super efficient, polite and professional. Great room sizes, nice swimming pool plus positive range of breakfast products. Like the blinds plus black out curtains in the rooms! Overall, great location and highly recommend.
Stayed here as a stop over on our long journey. Room was very cheap at under £70 for a family of 4 so I was expecting it to be a bit rubbish, but actually it was great. Comfy beds, nice and clean, well decorated, good hot shower. Downside was no air con and it was very hot, but fans were provided which helped. Breakfast isnt included and would have cost almost as much as the room itself so we didnt have that. Location isnt very scenic and things like the use of the pool are extra. Its self check in which I didnt like, but the staff member we did see was helpful.
Wouldn’t stay here again, especially during summer. The hotel doesn’t have air conditioning and the rooms were unbearably hot, making it almost impossible to sleep. Although a fan is provided, it does very little, and the windows only open about an inch so there’s barely any fresh air coming in. Both the room and the hotel felt very dated and not particularly clean. Plug sockets were also extremely limited — there were no bedside plugs, one socket hidden behind the sofa that we had to move to access, another behind the TV, and only one by the door. There were also no plugs near the mirrors, which was very inconvenient. That being said, the beds were comfortable. However, overall the hotel is in serious need of renovation. Breakfast was okay but very basic.
