My partner and I stayed here for two nights on the weekend. The staff were polite and friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was great - a short walk into the centre of Bath. However, we definitely overpaid for what we felt was an average hotel that should not be advertising itself as 5-star. Our room was small and not entirely clean. There was lots of dust and clear signs of dirt/filth (e.g. there was some brown splatter on a radiator that I wiped off with a face cloth). There were cobwebs all over our window sill. It was situated above noisy generators that came on early in the morning when they opened the kitchen. There were no bedroom curtains, only very basic blinds that half-worked and let the morning light in. There was a large gap around the bedroom door which meant that light from the staircase came through at night and lit up the room. We could hear other guests/staff walking around and doors being shut. The bathroom reeked of damp and had spots of mould on the walls. No toilet brush. No shower caddy or wall niche and so we had to keep leaving the shower to get shampoo, shower gel etc. There seemed to be a plumbing issue which meant that neither the shower nor the bathroom sink properly drained. It was a boiling hot room but no fridge in which to keep our water bottles cold. I would have relayed all of this to the hotel in person but when we checked out no one asked us how our stay was. Would not recommend.

I attended this hotel for an afternoon tea recently and had a wonderful experience. Kim was incredibly accommodating as I did not have a booking, and made sure I was looked after with tea while I waited. The afternoon tea itself was exceptional - the scones in particular were delightful - and the experience of an afternoon tea in a beautiful hotel is one I would recommend to anyone travelling through Bath as a treat.
We learned about the ville from Rick Steves book about traveling to England and this is a 5, no 6 star establishment. Room 23 was spacious, the bathroom was large enough to be as big as some hotel rooms. The breakfast was delicious and included. We were given excellent treatment by the entire staff, but a singular acknowledgement needs to be given to Kamil. He was the first to greet us, the last to say goodbye and in-between he was extra special. I HIGHLY recommend this ville as it is in walking distance to all the sights in Bath.
Roseate Villa is a true hidden gem in Bath. Our favourite part of the stay was the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, who made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The location is less than 5 mins walk to the centre. The bed was extremely comfortable, and despite the villa having many rooms, it remained wonderfully quiet, allowing for a very relaxing stay. The breakfast and afternoon lunch service were both top-notch, with great attention to detail and quality. Overall, Roseate Villa offers excellent value for money, combining comfort, charm, and outstanding hospitality. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bath.
A really beautiful hotel. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. The room was absolutely first class. The bed was really comfortable. Had a great ensuite which had plenty of room. The garden area was nice. The restaurant is definitely worth visiting while staying at the hotel, as the meals, whether your having the breakfast or eating in the evening are first class. The hotel is situated about 5/10 minutes walk from the main town making it a nice and quiet area but easy and quick to get into town. I highly recommend the Roseate Villa Hotel if you are staying in Bath.
