A real gem of a place, particularly, the Master Bedroom. The dinner and breakfast were nice. It is the atmosphere that's the best. There is a heated swimming pool as well, which is worth knowing and bringing swimming gear. A lovely parkrun is 5 min drive away.

We had a wonderful stay and found this to be a very comfortable and relaxing place. It is also very suitable which made our stay even more convenient. A special thank you to Mia, Christina, and Head Chef Ajit, who were incredibly helpful, kind, and caring throughout our stay. The whole team were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommended we would definitely book this place again!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our group had an absolutely phenomenal stay at Beechfield House! From the moment we arrived, the entire staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made the experience unforgettable. A special thank you to Elaine, the hotel manager, whose leadership and hospitality were exceptional. We’d also love to recognize Sam, Kane, Mia, Josh, Ashton, Kiera, and the entire restaurant team. We genuinely looked forward to seeing them each morning at breakfast and throughout our meals. They made every interaction feel personal, and their kindness and outstanding service never went unnoticed. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and captures the charm of the English countryside perfectly. Most of our group traveled from the United States, and Beachfield House gave us exactly the authentic countryside experience we were hoping for—peaceful, elegant, and incredibly welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely return. Thank you to everyone at Beechfield House for making our visit so memorable! -Rachel & Hunter
We booked the Beechfield House via Secret Escapes for three nights. We chose this hotel because we wanted to visit the Cheddar Gorge and Longleat, both easily accessible from the hotel location. Our room was in the coach house, it had a very comfortable bed, quiet and reasonably maintained. I say this because the bath water gradually seeped away and the wardrobe door kept wanting to open, very minor! It did however have get access to the heated swimming pool. We actually had a day sitting by the pool, it was devine like being abroad. A real suntrap with the brick wall behind. The lovely young waiter came and asked if we would like drinks, nice touch. That day we also had a cream tea sitting in one of the lovely lounge areas. Our booking gave us three courses for dinner which were on a set menu. We did actually find the menu a struggle especially on the third night. The desserts were a Delice, this I had twice and it came in two versions! The other desserts were cheese and biscuits or ginger panna cotta. I like a hot dessert so it was a shame one wasn't available but the quality and presentation of the food was superb. I would highly recommend this hotel because of the staff. We arrived to a warm welcome from Elaine front of house and Orla whom we saw doing many tasks. Elaine also made my birthday very special with a glass of champagne, a little card and all the staff on duty individually wishing me happy birthday, thank was very nice and I really appreciated it ❤️ The staff are the key here as they make a visit incredibly special, thank you all.
