Behind its steep cliffs, Victoria Island preserves a remarkable diversity of wildlife, native vegetation, and ancient cave paintings within just 30 square kilometers. After sailing about 11 km from either San Carlos Port or Puerto Pañuelo, visitors arrive on the island, where they can enjoy a walk through its lush conifer nursery. Back on board, the journey continues to the Quetrihue Peninsula, home to the famous cinnamon-colored arrayán forest and its iconic wooden cabin. This unique landscape, dominated by these rare trees, has been declared a Natural Monument and is said to have inspired Walt Disney during the creation of the classic animated film Bambi.
