Your adventure begins in Bariloche with a scenic drive along Route 40, enjoying views of Patagonia’s lakes and mountains before continuing through the beautiful Manso River Valley to our base camp, Camping Tierra Aventura. Upon arrival, our guides will provide your rafting equipment, including a neoprene wetsuit, and explain the safety procedures before we head to the river. Get ready for approximately 12 km (7.5 miles) of exciting white-water rafting on the Lower Manso River, near the Chilean border. Navigate thrilling rapids surrounded by the spectacular Manso River Canyon, combining adrenaline, fun, and breathtaking Patagonian scenery. When conditions allow, you’ll also have the option to swim in calmer sections of the river. Our rafting adventure concludes near the Chilean border. After getting out of the water, we’ll return by vehicle to Camping Tierra Aventura, where you’ll then have free time to relax and enjoy lunch at your own expense before we begin the return journey to Bariloche.
The rapids are not as intense as other places but the views and the river and water quality are exceptional. The tour guides were hilarious and so much fun. It was a great day.
It was an incredible experience, exciting and a real adrenaline rush. The guide Mati was great, highly recommend.
We got picked up in Bariloche and had a rather long drive to a camp near the raft launch. When we arrived, they served us coffee, tea, and some breads while we waited for everyone to congregate. Then we got suited up and piled back into the vans to get to the launch point. At the river, we were divided up by language and put into rafts. Then we got a good rundown of how to paddle and sit in the boat. The ride was super fun and beautiful! There were even a few opportunities to jump off the raft and swim in some calmer parts of the river! Once the boating was done, we changed back into our clothes and drove back to the camp for lunch. I would recommend bringing a towel to help dry off before changing. You had to pay extra for lunch, but it was reasonably priced and pretty good. There was also the option to buy photos of your trip for an additional fee. After lunch we got back in the vans for the drive back to Bariloche.

We were picked up en route from our Estancia and enjoyed a scenic drive to John’s camp a small Patagonia farm. Wetsuits and safety equipment provide d before a short drive to the start of the white water rafting experience. The guides provide a good safety briefing and we’re able to communicate in good English. The rapids were negotiated safely with good instructions from the boat guide. The water is very cold but the chance to float down a rapid should not be missed. End up in Chile ad a short steep walk to the vehicle before heading back to the farm for lunch. All in all a good experience.
The extraordinary, entertaining and very refreshing excursion.... exquisite swim in Rio Manso. Excellent guide Lucas (PUPI). The only low point was offering a snack with literally breads with jam and coffee since we were the third group. The previous ones received Milanese and pizza. And the price is the same. Low point that clashes but does not overshadow the work of the guides.

Tenía mucho miedo. No me gustan este tipo de actividades por las piedras que hay en el río. Sin embargo puedo decir que lo recomiendo. Los guías muy buenos. Se hace entretenido. No sé cómo será cuando el grupo que se arma es de gente que no se conoce de antes. Nosotros éramos un grupo de trabajo así q eso hizo todo más entretenido. Precioso el paisaje que se otra forma no se disfruta.
Vivimos una experiencia única, que jamás vamos a olvidar. El rio Manso está ubicado en un lugar paradisiaco, la combinación entre las montañas y la vegetación hacen que sea un lugar increíble. Si bien tiene rápidos de escala 3 y 4 es un rio muy noble para practicar este deporte y super seguro. Los guías fueron muy serviciales y bien predispuestos. El equipamiento estaba en óptimas condiciones. Sin duda lo recomiendo al 100%.
Increíble experiencia! Todo espectacular. Los guías Martín y Esteban son lo más. Nunca había hecho anteriormente rafting y este fue mi mejor bautismo. No sé lo pierdan!!
