Beautiful location and building. Very fit for our honeymoon. Rooms provide breath taking views of the lake. Bathroom is very small and has no fans. The food is good but very expensive. The excursion service is the saddest part of this hotel. We booked a sunset boat tour with the hotels excursion coordinator. We received the time for the boat and replied with our confirmation, yet when we showed up we found out she had not done anything with our confirmation.

Correntoso was a great stay for my clients! Gorgeous views and great service !
**Stunning location, wonderful stay – but beware of excursion billing** Hotel Correntoso is truly a gem in Patagonia. The location by the lake is breathtaking – the views alone are worth the trip. The service at the hotel is professional and warm, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the restaurant serves delicious food. We also booked an excursion through the hotel – a boat trip and hike – which was absolutely fantastic: well-organized, beautiful nature, and an excellent guide. However, a major downside was the way our excursion was billed. We were told the price was 130 USD, but in the end, we were charged significantly more. The amount was first converted into Argentine pesos at the *MEP exchange rate* (a parallel market rate), and then re-converted into USD using the official exchange rate – which is far less favorable. Then, via my credit card, the pesos were once again converted back into USD. In practice, this meant we paid around 180 USD instead of the quoted 130 USD. This discrepancy was never communicated clearly and feels quite unfair. At a hotel of this level, you expect transparency and honest pricing, especially when it comes to extra services that are hard for international travelers to verify. In short: Correntoso is absolutely worth visiting for its comfort, location, and overall experience – but be cautious when booking additional services and make sure to ask for the *final* cost in your payment currency. Hopefully, the hotel takes this feedback seriously, as small details like this can unfortunately tarnish an otherwise unforgettable experience.
We loved the common areas - lobby, restaurants and the pool /beach access ( and spa area with good massages) Unfortunately, while most of our fellow travelers had beautiful lake view, our room was unfortunately looking onto a parking lot and was rather dark, though spacious. When making reservations You may want to ensure that you receive a front room or at least a room w/ privacy. Our bath/ tub shower had full visibility from the front entrance area w/ no blinds
Beautiful boutique hotel. The views from the room were incredible. All the staff was very attentive and helpful. The pool/spa area was great and pool was heated perfectly for a cold day. We did not have dinner at hotel so cannot comment on that but had lunch at the restaurant downstairs by the dock and food/atmosphere were both awesome. The trucha dish was our favorite.
